I went in prior to my appointment and discussed that I wasn't sure if I should have just placed it to fix the chips or as the replacement. They said they would go the cheapest route for me but would have someone look at it to make sure before they got started. The technician went outside and inspected every single chip and informed me that I was good to go - all chips were filled properly, and nothing had to be done. They canceled the appointment, and I went on my way. No out of pocket expenses incurred. They were extremely polite, took the time to explain the reason why I would think they needed to be replaced, and how he knew the repairs were done properly. Anyone else would have gladly taken the money and replaced the windshield unnecessarily. Definitely a place to go for their honesty and customer service.

Took my 2026 Honda to Gerber Collision in Temple as the prior experience was excellent. This time…read moredid not go as well as expected. Dropped the SUV off fairly early on a Tuesday morning and was told that updates are sent out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Called on Thursday afternoon and was told that some of the parts were in and that the tentative date for completion was Tuesday. Late Friday, I receive a call that it's completed and ready for pickup. I leave my house a little after 5:00 pm. The traffic on the highway is bumper to bumper. I still need to drop off the rental car and Gerber closes at 5:30 pm. I call them back and let them know it will be Monday. They have already told the insurance company that the car is repaired. If you are local to Temple, you know that the traffic is maddening at 5:00 pm and even worse on a Friday. They also were made aware that this was a claim that I was not responsible for due to being hit. So decided to pick up the car on Monday. On Monday, when we got to Gerber, the car was outside and was very dirty. It felt gritty like there was overspray on the entire vehicle. They took it back and hand washed it and that resolved some of the issue. It was blamed on the sap but it wasn't sap it was dust and overspray as the entire SUV is coated in it. Circumstances being what they are, Gerber definitely could have handled this entire situation better.

I offered to pay him for his time and he said it was unnecessary and that I was good to go. It has been a few weeks and I finally have time to say THANK YOU to Stephen and his team for helping me (and my pup) while we were quite worried on a road trip and had no where to go. His price was affordable, he came to me instead of me driving to him. He fixed my windshield within 1 hour. His communication was great, he let me know every detail & also notified me when he was arriving & when he was finish fixing my windshield.
