Read, my GOOGLE.reviews. Brought my car in to correct warning lights and fix convertible top. They had my car for 4 weeks would not return calls requesting the status of my car during that time. They finally called me back after 4 weeks and told me fixing the top was going to cost $5,000 and I was getting a break, jaguar would cost me 10,000 dollars. I had this repair done on another jaguar it cost me $2500. They Fixed nothing, said they replaced battery, which i found odd, my battery was only 4 weeks old, They did fix the CD player. Saw a lot of Jags on their website and other searches, so I decided to give RVC a shot. Just doing a Coolant replacement. I have been servicing my Jaguar 2009 XKR at RVC auto for over 6 years and these guys are 100% Honest and have incredible knowledge especially regarding Jaguars. I recently had the rear suspension replaced and it rides great , I needed to replace my dash leather and they assisted in the removal of the dash and coordinated with the upholsterer . Phoenix upholstry ( they did a terrible job on the replacement) Kevin the owner of RVC was appalled at the workmanship and arranged to have another place redo the job and take ownership of Phoenix poor workmanship. I brought my car in because my engine light went on. I had a coupon from RVC Auto Repair for them to check the trouble codes for FREE. When I got there they said it would be $125 because of the labor cost. This was just to tell me the codes not for any work!!! I left and went to another local garage where they got the trouble codes in about 30 seconds!!!! What labor costs $125 for less than a minutes work! Their advertisement is totally misleading and they will never have mine nor my family's business! I wouldn't trust their prices!!!! read more

I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty that has needed a lot of work over the years, and they have always done their best to take care of my car and never overcharge me. They have given me deals and always ensure they do the best work so my car is safe and reliable. I believe I was lied to about the "minimum" service my vehicle needed to pass inspection. Once I called their bluff, the story changed and the price I was quoted for repairs came down. I'm sorry - but they lost my trust with the first inkling of dishonesty. I won't deny that they do good work, but they need to be a little more forthcoming with their female customers and not assume that we're not smart enough to know when we're being taken advantage of. I won't be returning, which is a shame, because my family has had a relationship with this mechanic for years. read more

So, I just went to RVC Auto because they are nearby and my husband previously used them for some major work and was satisfied. I went for an oil change and inspection...so what can go wrong? Well, imprinted on the oil tank inside the engine it says "use synthetic oil only". However, RVC Auto independently decided not to. (After all, why ask the woman who brought the car in? What does a girl know anyway?) When I asked them why they didn't use synthetic oil they immediately defaulted to "your husband must have requested regular oil the last time." Instantly, I knew that to be totally false because my husband, for the last 20 years that I know him, has never once allowed anything but synthetic oil in any of his cars. Given that RVC Auto knowingly ignored the synthetic oil requirement for my car...and then a bogus excuse about why they did so...they have now lost a customer. I'm glad it wasn't over a major issue with the car...but if you don't care about the small/easy stuff...what are the odds you would care about the big/complicated stuff? I'm not sticking around to find out. I'll head back to my mechanic of 30 years...it's worth the drive. read more
