We're back on our lent exploration, and this stop brings us to Rockwell for their Beer Fish Sando: tempura-battered cod topped with arugula coleslaw, aioli, pickled onions, and a side of fry sauce Oh- and a chocolate Old Fashioned! Everthing was really good and service was quick, friendly and professional.

Came here for a large group celebration. We were able to reserve tables in advance. Because it wasn't a busy day they allowed us to use their private party area, which was really nice and closer to their beer making area. They have a lot of different bites on the menu to go along with their large drink selection. They have parking on either side of the restaurant, which was very nice. Staff was very helpful and efficient, especially being there with a large group.

The beer was great! The tacos were $5 higher than the price on the website. We had looked up the menu before we went. Felt a little like a bait and switch. The first two bites I thought the tacos were good. But the heat/spice kept building. So much so, that I thought to myself I wished I could get a glass of milk from the bar. My mouth was burning and my nose started to run. There wasn't anywhere mentioned that it would be a spicy dish or any mention of controlling the amount of spice/heat I would prefer. I most likely will never order the food again as the tacos, quesadillas, and sandwiches all shared the same basic ingredients just in different forms. If you like it spicy then you'll be alright. As it was for me, I couldn't finish my dinner and I ended up with a case of heartburn. Would like to give the beer a higher star...

I'll be honest... the first visit to Rockwell 2+ years ago - not that impressive. But we've returned 3-4 times since (thanks to the St Louis area Pub Pass program), and we are hooked on their beers! Crisp Chinos - excellent for the lighter beer lovers. Sweater Weather - fantastic amber. Coconut Porter - not overly coconut-forward, excellent notes, and go down way too fast.

Chicken sandwich. Fries. Garlic aioli. Alcohol. Smash burgers. Good people. Sports. Did I miss anything? Nope, this place is full of dope people, good vibes, and delicious eats. I am not a beer drinker, but was persuaded to sip on one of their belgian ales. It was solid, no complaints. The chicken sando is elite. Crispy, a sweet glaze with a lingering spice that doesn't overpower. A piece of melted cheese adding some funk. Shoe string fries salted and dipped in garlic aioli. Talk about the life. Take a friend, take your parents, heck take your kids. Even if they're under 21 they at least deserve to try some of the eats!

Hadn't made it over to Rockwell Beer Company in a minute. I was excited to see that Brasas had taken over their kitchen, I was a big fan of their food while they were located at Perennial. Their menu here has similar flavors but a lot of new options. I decided to try the Peruvian Street Burger- messy but delicious! My partner loved the Carne Asada tacos as well. It was a bit cold to sit on their nice patio, but the interior has lots of seating and a great view into their brewery.

"Homemade" Strawberry Lemonade (it's a mix - watery)
Emmy L.

Great place for a burger, especially for the lunch special pricing. Very quick service, kind people. More like 4.5 stars - knocked down for some watery lemonade described below, but I bet with a soda or beer this would be a clear 5 stars. The burger bun is light and fluffy, the beef is tasty, and the shoestring fries are hot and crunchy. My uncle got bacon added to his cheeseburger and said it was delicious with a good portion of bacon. Disappointed by the strawberry lemonade - it's advertised as homemade, but on further inquiry it's a premade mix. This should be more clear from the get go. The ambience is great, spacious, clean, tasteful music at an appropriate volume.

First time here since they have the new Food by Brassas. Price in the brewery for the food was quite a bit higher than the price on the website which was surprising since this vendor has not been here long. Chicken tacos on the website were $11, they were actually $16. Very good portions but let's face it, an $8 taco is getting pretty pricey. They were good but way too spicy for the average person and I like spicy food. Beers were good and were happy hour priced at $2 off ( but I had to ask for the happy hour price as they rung up at regular price). Especially enjoyed the Vienna Express. Overall, good place for a beer, but probably won't eat here next time.

Serving some really good beer, decent cocktails, and some tasty bar food, this is a brewery you should definitely check out. Service provided at the counter where you order your drinks and food. Food was delivered to our table, but sometimes I believe you pick it up in the back. Their cocktails include an old-fashioned that was really tasty. I have enjoyed the double smash burgers with cheese. Try the loaded french fries as they are excellent with a very tasty beer cheese. Their hummus is somewhat on the basic side. Their fried pickles are tasty, but I suspect they may be pre ofrozen The overall setting is casual. Since we've been here only in the winter, we haven't been outside yet. We definitely will come back late spring.

This review is only for the staff and inside. I got beer to go and have not tried it yet. Big parking lot. Good size patio. And lots of seating inside. Bartender was very friendly. Looks like they have a limited menu for food. Then they package most of their beer. They haven't limited merch also. Would definitely go back and sit and have a beer there though. Cheers!

Went to the Francis Park Biergarten and had a really nice pizza and drink. The outdoor atmosphere was great and the air was crisp. They called last call so we decided to visit the mothership in St. Louis. The place is a good size with outdoor seating. We decided to stay indoors. I have to say it was not what I expected after visiting the Biergarten. The young lady at the bar was not personable and seemed impatient. We asked for the brisket pizza and they were out of brisket. Don't ask for sausage. They don't have it. We were going to get another and then she remembered they don't have mozzarella. Pizza is out. We decided to opt for drinks only. We paid. My son received his. She went off to serve the customers in the bar area their food. We waited and when she finally returned we stood there wondering where our drinks were. She literally slapped her head just realizing she forgot to serve them. Won't be back. Ever.

Every vendor that I spoke with had representatives working who seemed to be very knowledgeable about wines, which was a plus. I tried lots of tasty wines! The entry fee isn't too bad; $25 a person, which gives you 10 tickets for 10 tastings of wine (additional tickets can be purchased for $5 per 10). This year they also had a Stella Artois beer seminar (free!) which was very interesting and informative. I have so much more respect now for (good) beer! Review: March 11th, 2026…read more I was on a mission to find a music event to attend to ON the NIGHT of my birthday which was March 11th. I came across Blue Strawberry during my search and decided to book. I didn't care if I would have to attend solo being that it was midweek and I didn't confirm with my friends. The Venue: I had a hard time locating the building, especially since it was night and I've never been there. Parking is on the street. I parked a block or two away and walked. Once I found the building, I tried to open the door, well it didn't open. That's when I realized that it was closed. I was like, I know they didn't lock the door after the event started. I then saw a buzzer so I decided to press it, hoping that it wouldn't interrupt, but alert the staff...After a minute or so, I noticed a paper sign stating to "use other door"...but which? The door adjacent it was for another business. I then locate the correct one around the side. Wallah! Once inside: the hostess checked me in. Her tablet decided to lock and she had to ask an older guy for the password (seem as though he might have been the owner or manager, he didn't look very pleasant nor welcoming). Anyways on to my seat to enjoy the show which already had started. The venue is very small, with low lighting in the audience and lighting focused on the proformers. Black tablets with seatings for two or four were throughout with one table for larger group. I suppose they can rearrange to accommodate.I was offered to sit anywhere as this event was very low turned out. The Attendees: The event attendees were mostly LGBTQIA folks, maybe due to the area or maybe the entertainer followers, either way I didn't care. I was out for a good time & I love, love regardless. Requirements: Venue has a minimum of $15 spending per person. I noticed most attendees opted for a drink. The larger party ordered food. I decided to skip on the food. I had the St Louis Swing to sip on. It was perfect. Larger than I expected! Overall: Great for small intimate events, especially locals or non "mainstream." Great views regarless of seating, and inexpensive! Honestly, I am not sure If I'll visit again although I enjoyed the event, nothing really stood out about the place or it's hospitality.

You will notice how special it is when you walk in and are greeted warmly, shown to your table and enjoy the vibe. The first three rows of tables the music can be rather loud, so if you feel like that would be an issue sit further back or towards the bar. While most of the focus is on the talent that they host, the food is absolutely incredible here. We got there early to enjoy a peaceful dinner before the show. My favorite item on the menu is the brussels sprouts appetizer. No one makes them like this. My dining companion ordered the chicken Kiev served with seasonal vegetables (squash with grilled pepper strips and onions), and roasted potatoes. I ordered the beet salad with an incredible horseradish dressing. I normally would never choose that, but the flavors complimented each other so well, and the horseradish dressing was not overpowering. Rather it balanced the sweetness of the roasted beets and the dried cranberries. We decided to get the chocolate cake for dessert, which is plenty for two people. It's so decadent and rich that we couldn't even finish it. They have a rather large cocktail menu and wine list. There's also beer and soft drinks available. Please note during shows there is a $15 minimum food/drink order person. The service is excellent! I highly recommend our server, Arissa (sp?), who took great care of us all night. There is street parking available so if you're disabled get there early to get a close spot. They have two unisex bathrooms with locks that don't always quite work though.

It's a fantastic way to celebrate the local food scene all in one place. The only reason for four stars is timing and quantity -- the two-hour general admission window (with it being a sold out event) didn't feel like enough time to make it to every area. A few vendors had already run out of food by the time we reached them (lines to get samples were also long), which was a little disappointing. She also didn't know how to make a drink, with that being the case why are you allowed to make any cocktails.
