Went to here for the first time for a date and it was such a good choice. It's the perfect happy hour spot. We sat outside on the patio and the weather was amazing. The waiter and waitress were both really nice and friendly! We ordered a few things to share like the salmon appetizer and the pear prosciutto pizza and both were super good. The drinks were great too. The mocktails and cocktails were all tasty but the sangria was definitely a favorite. Overall I'd totally come back here again either for another date night or just to hang out with the girls.
I loved this place! They have a beautiful, spacious patio that receives plenty of sun and faces a rather quiet street. The inside is reminiscent of a chic Parisian bar. Service is so-so. Our server was attentive but rather brisk with us so we were hesitant to ask for what we needed. It might be sacrilege but none of us tried their wine! We had three different cocktails. The woody straw was my favorite! We also sampled their crab cakes and french fries, both of which were excellent.
First time trying Scarlett's and we split the bacon pesto wood fired pizza. I love a wood fired pizza but with so many good wood fired pizza places in the area maybe I found myself comparing a little too much- it was still delicious! We tried a couple of the different spritz' for drinks and really liked them. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I was worried about parking with the street that it was on but it didn't seem to be a problem
I went on Sat night with a best friend. It was a bummer they were out of Malbec, cuz that's her wine of choice, so she went with her mom's wine of choice, a Pinot Noir. I tried the Pinot and also the Syrah. We ordered the goat cheese salad, mix board, and the mushroom appetizer. All the food was very good. Didn't realize the goat cheese in the salad would be fried in two lumps; seemed a bit unnecessary haha. The service was great, and I like the decor of the place--gotta love the classic tile ceilings and row house layout common in the St Louis area :) overall, it was a great ladies night spot!
Scarlett's is in a sweet spot in the CWE: Free street parking! Megan (sp?) was my server and she was great. Happy hour pricing on most drinks and $5 off boards from 4-6. I ordered a cheeseboard: brie, taleggio, manchego, fontina, Fourne d'Ambert. To drink: 1. Kir Royale: could be a new favorite drink 2. Orangecat #2023 pinot gris: an orange wine and the best tasting orange wine on my orange wine journey thus far. Some gnats or flies were hanging out with me. That may be unavoidable. Scarlett's includes tax w/ tip. Suggested tip amounts, in order of appearance, were 25%, 20%, and 20%.
Went to celebrate a friends birthday and it definitely did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and even moved us to a bigger table after some other folks left so we could have more space. We all got pizza and it was delicious, I got the bacon pesto pizza! Turns out Tuesday is all day happy hour so my friends got some wine and mojito that they really enjoyed, I did not get anything because the mocktails costs nearly the same as the cocktails which doesn't seem kinda a stretch given alcohol is what makes cocktails expense. I would say the food is definitely on the pricier side, but worth it for the celebratory night.

To eat we got a pizza and a side of olives. I'd pass on the olives next time because they weren't special just Kalamata olives in a bowl. The pizza was good and a good compliment to the wine. Overall, I loved just chatting on the patio. Parking is pretty easy in this area, tons of street parking.
Stopped by Scarlett's Wine Bar on a beautiful Saturday evening with my wife and some friends before an event. This place has an awesome vibe--looks like an old retail building with lots of character, tucked right on the edge of the Central West End. The patio was full (no surprise with the perfect weather), so we grabbed a table inside, which was still charming and lively. The wine list is solid--plenty of options. We shared a bottle of Italian Pinot Grigio that hit the spot. Staff seemed a bit stretched, but they were friendly and doing their best. Likely just a busier-than-usual night. What we shared: * Apulian Burrata Spritz (4.25/5): Creamy, fresh, and packed with flavor--loved the combo of citrus, basil, and spritz vinegar. * Creole Shrimp Beignets (3.5/5): More like fried shrimp with Cajun sauce--not bad, but not quite what we expected. * Prosciutto & Pear Pizza (3.4/5): Good ingredients and flavor, but the dough was a bit meh--could've used a crispier finish. Overall, Scarlett's is a great little spot for a relaxed wine night and small bites. We'll be back to try the patio next time.
First time visiting and I wasn't disappointed. The ambience was wonderful. The food was delicious. My sister had the goat cheese salad and the sea bass entrée, and I had the Greek salad and the crab cakes. Service had a little hiccup but was quickly fixed. My mixed drink wasn't great, so next time I will stick with wine. The staff was lovely. A wonderful place for a date or just a treat for yourself. Food prices were reasonable and serving portions were perfect. Will definitely be returning! Now one of my go-to places.
Literally walked in the wrong door while trying to go to Northwest Coffee, took a deep breath of the wonderful smells, and decided to stay. Marrow bone was a terrific surprise, and perfect with the soft fluffy bread. My husband had his eye on that chocolate cake from the famous Cravings, from the beginning, These photos are from yesterday, when the bartender--whose name I didn't catch--jumped in to help, and recommended an excellent Pinot noir, and our server, Trevor, was attentive and prompt. Aah, nice!
Love love love Scarlett's. It's becoming the hang out spot - I've been here 4 times this month! The goat cheese salad is phenomenal. Soft, tangy cheese crisped within a perfectly crunchy outer coating, balsamic glazed arugula and some delicious prosciutto. YUM. The pear pizza was good too. They have a delicious selection of wines and a decent happy hour. I've been able to snag a table without a reservation, but seems like it would be smart to get a reservation for larger parties. The patio is nice on a breezy afternoon.
Walking up to the wine garden, we were greeted by the inviting outdoor seating. The ambiance inside was equally captivating, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We decided to grab a spot at the bar to soak in the surroundings. One of the highlights of our visit was the extended Happy Hour on Tuesdays, which we thoroughly enjoyed. As the day was hot, I opted for a refreshing glass of the Red Sangria. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that our every need was met. read more
I can't believe I haven't been here before! The interior of the restaurant reminded me of a Parisian café, and the plants throughout are a nice touch. We (party of 4) waited about 1 hour to get a table outside. While waiting for our table, I ordered the Woody Straw at the bar, and it was delicious. The strawberry liqueur and basil vodka paired well, and it was refreshing. The only issue was that it wasn't filled all the way. There was ice filled to the top to give an illusion of a full drink, but it was obviously not full. After being seated outside, I ordered a red Sangria. It was sweet, tart, and the perfect drink to go with the Dylan Pizza. The pizza was incredible and Neapolitan-style. It was smooth and the combination of flavors worked well. I loved the honey and caramelized onions, but the olive oil base made the pizza a little soggy over time. The service here was a bit underwhelming. After being sat outside, the servers switched, and we didn't get taken care of until it was near closing time. However, the patio and pizza were stars of the show, and definitely have me wanting to come back. read more
I hadn't been to Scarlett's in about a year, but the weather was so beautiful it felt like the perfect reason to go. Even though we didn't sit outside, they had the doors open, so we still got plenty of fresh air with a bit of warmth. It was my first time trying escargot, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was tasty with the butter, garlic, and parsley. I also had the mixed greens salad with fried goat cheese and added chicken. The staff was a bit off...it took a while for someone to come to our table, and they cleared everything while we stepped away to the bathroom even though we weren't finished. Not ideal it. Overall, still a good experience. read more

Loved the vibes, ambiance, staff, food, and drinks. Wish we lived closer! Had the Goat Cheese Salad, Burrata Pizza, and Cava. All were amazing! Courtyard was charming too, but too hot to sit outside that day. read more

Really a charming wine bar. Love the decor...felt transported to a Parisian cafe. The menu looked enticing, but we had already dined elsewhere and just stopped in for a glass of vino. I'll want to go back to sample the food. Service was good and we were able to leisurely enjoy our wine. read more
Came to Scarlett's yesterday afternoon/ early evening for a working happy hour. It's such a great place and so centrally located for lots of neighborhoods in the city. They offer $7 glasses of wine for HH, some select cocktails, and some beer. They also offer $5 off boards for snacking. I got Cabernet for my drinks and my work associate got the sangria. My cab was lovely and perfect for the fall season, and her sangria looked delightful. WiFi was fast and easy to connect to. The back of the wine bar really caught my eye with their dangling lights- love the ambiance!! read more
Scarlett's is a GREAT place for wine and delicious food! As soon as you enter the space feels warm and inviting. There is an intimate and cozy vibe! Staff are friendly and greet you as soon as you enter. Each time I have visited there has been open tables and we were seated quickly. They have a large selection of wine by the glass and bottles. I love trying new things each time I am there! They also have a great cocktail list and full bar if wine is not your thing. In addition to great wine, they also have delicious food! I have had the creole shrimp beignets, goat cheese salad and the prosciutto and pear pizza. I enjoyed this food so much I ordered it again on a second visit. It was plenty to share between two people. I brought family on the second visit and they too were impressed with the food and wine! I am looking forward to many more visits in the future to try more of the food and wine. Both times I visited the weather was cold, so I am also excited to sit on the patio and sip some wine when the weather warms! There is street parking, which at times can be difficult to find a spot, but dont let that stop you from visiting Scarlett's - it is a real gem! read more

Beautiful happy hour experience. Kind staff, delicious cocktails and top notch snacks. All I need in life are good French fries and Scarlett's delivers. They have a great lil patio and their inside is well decorated with a good vibe--you won't be upset about any seat in the house. Get yourself to this wine bar!! read more
My favorite happy hour spot! I live nearby, and I love being able to conveniently walk here for a casual date night or to meet up with friends. The outdoor patio is the perfect spot to hang out when the weather is nice, but the inside seating options are just as comfortable and welcoming! You really can't go wrong either way. My go-to drink is the white sangria; it's so refreshing and seriously never disappoints! They offer an extensive wine list, so there's something for everyone. I've only ever ordered drinks here, but I definitely hope to try their food sometime in the near future. All of the employees I've ever interacted with here have gone above and beyond to provide a memorable, hospitable experience. Very attentive and accommodating. I get the sense that they genuinely enjoy working in this affirmative environment. read more

This place has always given grown woman energy the perfect blend of cozy and sultry, with dim lighting that flatters and a wine list that understands the assignment. Now, let's talk about the unexpected plot twist: An intriguing gentleman took the seat next to me, clearly captivated. Eyes lingering, compliments flowing darling, I could tell I had become the highlight of his evening. But let's be clear: just because the conversation was served warm doesn't mean dessert was on the table. I'm a Scarlett's kind of woman--classy, confident, and already claimed by a generous gentleman who knows how to treat a lady. But I digress... This is such a cozy spot - both the interior and patio. I came here recently with some friends to check out their happy hour. Phenomenal deals on the happy hour. They have a great espresso martini. My friends got the goat cheese salad and I got the burrata pizza. Everything came out quick and was delicious. Will definitely be going back! read more

Great service, well priced, yummy food, nice atmosphere. What else could you ask for when dining out? You can tell they really care about ingredient quality here. Only improvement would be on the salad... a bit thin on the greens and kinda salty but the cheese was really fresh and high quality. A gem in the CWE! read more
Scarlett's is such a cute spot! Dim lighting, intimate, perfect date night spot! It picks up around after 7, but you can get a table pretty easily before hand! The service was quick, the pizza was amazing! My friend who is a big oyster fan got the oysters - they did look a little off, she said they tasted a bit weird also, I'm not an oyster fan so can't contest to this since I didn't try them, she didn't end up finishing them, so I'm not sure if this is the best place for those! but all in all still a great experience the pizza/ambience/ our server were great! read more

Great service. Located on Laclede in the CWE. Very quaint spot, lovely interior. Super friendly staff. Ordered old fashions, very well made. The shrimp appetizer is very good. Ordered the burger, the Dylan pizza and mussels. Everything was good. The mussels needed salt and acid otherwise tasty. Their fries are great!! Happy hour every day and all day on Tuesday. Will be back to sit on the cute patio out front. Recommend! read more

Cute Wine Bar in the CWE. Came here before a book signing with a few girlfriends, so we were on a time crunch or we would have stayed longer. No complaints. The service was quick, the food was delicious, and they had happy hour from 5-7. We did the 8 dollar cocktails & 7 dollar glasses of wine on HH. My sister & I shared the goat cheese salad and the mushroom pizza. The goat cheese salad was amazing and fresh. Can't wait to come back. read more
What a gem in a small CWE neighborhood! I am happy that I've just discovered this place today. This little place has a ginormous wine selection. Price range from $25 to $700 and for any occasion. Today we ordered "El Enemigo" Malbec, it is a dry wine and was so good. Then we've got roasted brussel sprouts, hummus & pita and bruschetta. While ordering through the tablet, I didn't realize there is uncooked cheese on everything(personal preference). I had to send back my good looking bruschetta and they didn't charge me for that, even if I offered. Wonderful! I replaced it with prosciutto & pear pizza.. highly recommended. This place has cellar vibes with dim light. So romantic! I will definitely come back in summer to check out outdoor seating! read more
