I can't say enough good things about this practice. From the time, I entered the building to the time I left, I felt cared for and treated with respect and kindness. Everyone was experienced, professional and competent. My doctor, Dr. Von Doersten treated me 25 years ago and still remembered me. He explained everything and I left feeling that I was in great hands (again). The audiologist, Kate Savage was amazing, and the intern, Lily was great as well. I surely don't understand why there are bad reviews. This was the warmest most welcoming medical office I have been in. read more

I have a long history with Rocky Mountain ENT, dating back 25 years ago w Dr. Daniel Brady operated on me over 10 times for a life threatening bone infection following a simple sinus surgery. I was finally referred to Virginia Mason in Seattle. After almost 20 years without many sinus issues, I had a large polyp picked up on a C T scan for something else.Its now cutting off my air flow and causing issues. I called for an appointment only to be told that I was banned from the office because I had missed 3 appointments in my lifetime. The receptionist dated one of the missed appointments over 20 years ago. Because of my history, I have probably had close to 100 appointments there. At that time, I was fighting for my life and traveling 80 miles to and from appointments. So I may have missed a few appointments. I would gladly go somewhere else, but there is nowhere else! The office manager won't take my calls or return messages. I am a Medicaid patient, which may have something to do with it. read more

Kate Savage is fantastic. If you need a hearing aid, this is the person to see. She also has appointments available in Hamilton, one or two days a week. The reason I can recommend her is that she takes her time, she will answer all of your questions, and she is very competent and caring. My life as an 81-year-old man has changed for the better since getting two hearing aids. Every time I walk out my door I can interact with people and know what they are saying to me. I no longer have to blast my TV, Radio, and Computer to hear the devices. My cell phone is blue tubes into my hearing aids. If you need an evaluation, she is an expert. I am so very pleased with the ENT center in Hamilton. I have told my neighbors on the senior citizen campus where I live that this is a good place this is to get your hearing status examined and to purchase a new quality hearing aid. read more

I had a very bad experience with a Dr. cleaning my ears and punchering one ear. I decided to go see an ear Dr. Which is Dr. Moser at Rocky Mountain ENT center. Oh it was day and night. He is so good !!! He said he has all the right tools and he was right. I didn't feel a thing and he got my ear cleaned. Not only that but he worked on my vertigo !!! My daughter was referred by her physician. She got a 60-second endoscopy and a dismissive doctor. He said he couldn't determine anything unless she had an active infection. Then why give her the 60-second endoscopy? We were charged $434.90 AFTER insurance. I would not recommend this business. read more

Rocky Mountain ENT is the worst medical provider we have encountered in Montana. Our experience has been negative from start to finish. From scheduling issues (scheduled to come in on days our provider wasn't there, where we still had to pay to see someone and then had to come back again for a second visit and pay again), to time with the providers (pushy, clearly an agenda to get kids scheduled for high priced services), to billing (threatening calls by collections agents when we hadn't received bills for services and thought we'd set up payment plans for all services received, rude and not understanding agents). I've been in tears multiple times after dealing with folks from Rocky Mountain ENT, and it seems there is little accountability for bad service or mistakes at the expense of the customers. I wish I could give them zero stars. I wish there were more options in Missoula for ENT. read more

Recently, I visited the Hearing Center to have my ears checked and my hearing tested. Staff were welcoming and helpful, especially with my being somewhat nervous about what might be found. All turned out ok, and Josh and the hearing test person were very good about answering my questions. read more

I have chronic sinus infections, was referred to Rocky Mountain ENT. Once there the doctor did an exam said sinuses were to infected to get a good look. Gave me a prescription for an antibiotic rinse. Worked great. Went back for a follow up had X Ray's and was told I have a polyp in one nasal cavity and a deviated septum. Dr. Said this wasnt my problem though, jumped immediately to wanting to do allergy testing and most likely weekly shots. Didnt suggest any oral allergy medications to start with. Testing is 400.00 out of pocket. Cant afford that. Back to living with constant green snot, headaches, dizziness, stopped up all the time, and swollen puffy eyes. Thx. Wont reccomend this place. They simply dont care. read more

I'm surprised to see this place has bad reviews. My experience was great! Dr. Fowlkes, the receptionist, the nurse, the schedule coordinator were all absolutely amazing! Very welcoming environment. Dr. Fowlkes listened to my issues and was extremely thorough. I was scheduled for surgery less than a week later & have now fully recovered. The team he works with at St. Patrick's Hospital made me very calm & comfortable. I had my left thyroid lobe removed due to a large goiter. Dr. Fowlkes was there when I woke up from surgery, he checked in with me the next morning before I left the hospital, & he called me a couple days after surgery to see how I was doing. I had bounced through a few Drs. trying to figure out what was wrong & felt very discouraged because they didn't seem to care & I wasn't getting any answers or help. Two mins after meeting Dr. Fowlkes I knew he was going to help me. All the crazy symptoms I was having for 6 weeks straight are completely gone & I am so grateful that he listened & took action right away. Very good place, I highly recommend it. read more

As my experience here, you see many comments about the doctors being bad, but it's a lot better when you take the ones not recommended. As of our experience the ones recommended are always the same and always the worst there is. Not saying any of their names. But don't be scared, the tech is amazing and you will be in the right care. read more

My wife was the patient. She had a surgery on her nose in March. Dr Fowlkes didn't even bother to come out after the surgery to let me know how things went. A few weeks later my wife saw him for a follow up, she said something to him about what happened after the surgery, his response was "OOPS".not acceptable. A few months later my wife had a hearing test at a different hearing place. They recommend she see an ear dr. About possible pressure behind her ear drum. She was sent back to this place to see an ear dr. We got there and the first thing they started to do was another hearing test. I questioned them why she just had one done a month ago. They said they hadn't received them and they were going to do another one instead a of making a phone call yo get the results from the other test. They got indignant when I pushed thr issue, so I got my wife and we left. They tried to stop her from going until I really pushed the issue that we were leaving. They are money hungry and we will never set foot in there again. read more

Very dissatisfied with Dr. Phillip A. Gardner at Rocky Mountain ENT in Missoula, MT. Bad diagnosis, bad bedside manner, does not explain what he's going to do, does not follow up, calls in wrong Rx - just overall very bad experience with this so-called doctor. read more

I have no idea how competent the staff is at this facility. What I do know is that I had a hearing test and was told before they would dispense hearing aids I need to be evaluated by an ENT. I tried to make an appointment to see a physician but whoever the receptionist was that answered the phone told me I needed another hearing test and then questioned me whether I would be purchasing hearing aids from them. I told her I need to see ENT to evaluate for possible neuroma but I got the same story. Me thinks money is the only issue and I am most disappointed. Makes me question the practice and tells me I should go to Spokane instead. read more

If I could give this a 1/2 star I would as far as billing is concerned. The Docs did a good job. However, this was supposed to be a referral for a work comp injury, they do not take work comp apparently. Not mentioned to my own doctor who gave me the referral when they made the appointment for me and sent my charts. After traveling 3 hours, I learn that they may not accept work comp claims. I needed the treatment to make sure the work related injury wasn't causing complications, to protect both me and my employer who pays work comp insurance for this sort of thing. Now I get a bill, that I have to pay, that work comp cannot pay because this business is far too busy to bill the work comp. Work comp would cover it if they would bill them directly, but no luck. This is a poorly managed business in the healthcare industry, that I do not recommend to anyone. They were very busy that day and seem a little cramped for space and cleanliness. It seems the bottom line is more important than customer service and patient care. I can drive 3 or 4 hours another direction to get better care and service, and I will from now on. read more
