To The other review about the person arriving after 6 pm, our party of 7 arrived at 5:54 and we were welcomed in for our meal. If you're flying a plane to a restaurant anywhere, I'd suggest calling ahead to double check on things.... I don't feel their review is very fair. Anyway, like I said we arrived just in time and it was great. In fact I personally felt they were very accommodating to my family. Like I mentioned in a previous review, we come here every year. I believe I had the halibut. Delicious and fresh as usual. The chips/fries were perfectly crispy. The dispenser was out of ketchup, but honestly these fries didn't need it. I also really enjoy the coleslaw side, it's very refreshing to what could otherwise end up feeling like a heavy meal. I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone! But if you're traveling a long way to eat here, probably call ahead to confirm hours or any other extenuating circumstances ;).

My family and I stop here every year while we camp in the area. It's always a big highlight and something I'm always looking forward too! The food it DELICIOUS and the fish tastes like they grabbed it straight out of the water. Each "basket" comes with fries and coleslaw that are also perfect. There are a ton of different fish options, I always go with the halibut. My husband got the clam strips this time and they were also pretty good. The only downside is that there isn't a ton of seating. If the restaurant is busy, then you might have to wait for a spot or take your food to go.

    Sign on the napkin box.

Nice place with great , friendly people. Kat had the clams which were very good. I had the cod basket which was excellent! The chips were very good as was the coleslaw. I would definitely go again Cod Basket Fried Clams

Fish & Chips (halibut), crispy fries, excellent coleslaw. And all-around FABULOUS meal!

Awesome seafood and great flavors, the employees are wonderful too. It's a little steep when it comes to prices, but what do you expect when it's the only place to eat fish in a 100 mile radius (unless of course you channel your inner Cowboy and catch something yourself). Step in and become engulfed in the smell of the sea. The decor makes it seem like you've teleported to a quaint restaurant on the seashore. Order up and pay before you get your food and snag a seat before too many people take it before you. Tartar sauce and ketchup as well as fresh lemons are available for the picking. So load up on the good stuff before you settle in. The waitress will bring you your meal, usually takes a solid 10 minutes. I ordered two fish tacos, delishhh for sure. But they were $10 for 2. My momma ordered the fish and chips basket, that seemed like a better deal for sure. Fries, fried cod, and a side of coleslaw for about $12. Between the two of us, our meal ended up being over $30 (one small fountain drink and a tip). So just brace yourself, this is more of a special occasion outing. TIPS & TRICKS: * Wear some clothes you don't care will smell fishy for the rest of the day, it'll definitely seep into your jacket. * Street parking is available right along Main Street, but if you head around back, there is a large dirt parking lot you can take advantage of.

Am a biy nervous about the quality of the ahi steak.

Order and pay at counter and friendly nice eager to please servers bring your food to your table. Surimi salad was awesome. $4.75 Salmon Fish & Chips was good, not great. The fries are just ok. The slaw was excellent. Seared Ahi steak tasted good. I'm just not sure on the qualityof the ahi. $13.50 Clam chowder was good. $3.49 Halibut parm was very good. $18. Clean restaurant with very nice hard working staff. No beer or wine available. Closes at 7pm.

They have a wide variety of products-especially for such a small store!! If you need almost ANY Asian grocery item, check here!! The prices are absolutely amazing on most items-a few are just "average" prices(at least for me-however with 5 kids I am often a Sam's/Costco shopper, so maybe thats not fair), &some may be a similar price, but for a higher quality product, so absolutely worth it(italian whole milk mozzarella-Im looking at you...I cannot even find this anywhere else in Idaho Falls, yet it is crucial to my lasagna)!! Produce is amazing, very high quality, the organic sweet potatoes a few weeks back were the best, my kids were even requesting &eating them as snacks :-) Lots of organics, lots of high quality, good looking produce!! Always good prices!! Although many times small quantities(usually there is more in back, if you need it because you have a large family like me, just ask :-)) While not of interest to me and my family, they have a wide variety of vegan/plant based items. Everything from meat & dairy substitutes to vegan frozen pizza &a wide variety of snacks!! My younger kids(9,10,& 12)love coming in with me to see what they can find, its always like a treasure hunt for them since stock changes often(I love this too)!! They love all the unique products, it has even encouraged my picky, autistic daughter to try more things & that is a huge plus for this mama!! I love the bargains, such amazing prices, knowing I can still get a full cart of groceries for ~$100...where else is that possible??? Yes, sometimes dates are a bit close, but my kids eat so much that's never a problem!! Heck, some of the items are in the "never go bad" category & it really doesn't matter(do cans of tomatoes ever really expire? Coffee?) You will also often get bounce back coupons on your receipt, an extra $3-5 off your next purchase, it's not alot, but everything helps in today's economy-AND its on top of their already low prices!! We have met the owners, tonight Dave(one half of the husband/wife owner team)bagged my groceries and gave my kiddos candy bars, they were so excited!! He even remembered that I had 2 more(one was at gymnastics, one stayed in the car)&told them to pick for their siblings too. You just cannot ask for more!!! A few weeks ago we met Chrystal(her photo at the entrance does not do her justice!!)& I believe one, maybe 2 of their children working in the produce dept. As a mom, I appreciate the lessons they're instilling :-) It is definitely a family affair, which in turn creates an amazing family atmosphere!!! We have lived in 11 states over the last 23yrs, I can honestly say this is probably my favorite store ever, definitely top 3 for sure(up there with HEB of TX & Woodman's of WI). I enjoy the variety, HEB/Woodmans were huge warehouse like stores that always had everything, this is a small store but with constantly rotating stock that gives it the variety of a much larger store :-) Not sure if this is the store or Idaho Falls, but about a month ago I left my wallet at the store, likely in a cart(I think I left it in the cart, hubs loaded groceries in the car & didnt realize I hadn't taken it with me-oops), someone turned it in. Same condition I left it, nothing missing-not even the cash or "special coins" I was holding for the kids. Another amazing testament to the store & its customers :-)

This was my second visit, and unfortunately it was almost identical to the first. The welcome was not very friendly, and our waitress walked by the table several times before finally speaking to us. After that, she never really came back to check on us, ask whether we needed anything, or see how the food was. The next thing we knew, she was dropping off the bill. We ordered two appetizers, but only one was brought out. I also clearly mentioned that I have a food allergy, and she said she would let the kitchen know. Even so, the appetizer arrived with the ingredient I'm allergic to, and nothing was said about it. On top of that, the salad came with the wrong dressing. That said, the seared ahi tasted fresh, and the greens with salmon really hit the spot. The food itself was enjoyable, which makes the service issues even more disappointing. It is hard to overlook a missed appetizer, the wrong dressing, and especially the mishandling of a food allergy. This place has a lot of potential, but the service definitely needs work.

Just as others have said before, they are slow...as in you'll wait over 90 minutes for your food…read moreeven when you were a reservation. There were several waiters whose only job was to take orders and refill drinks. They spent the majority of the night walking around looking confused. One employee with the two long braids was the ONLY person bringing out the food. And as quick as she was, it still wasn't enough. On the patio alone, I saw 12/14 tables who were waiting on their food for over 45 minutes. While the scenic view is great, the place is shared with the pool of the country club and walking people walk in and out in their swimsuits dripping water everywhere was a bit chaotic. I would recommend Gordon Ramsay to bring his show "24 hours to hell and back" to fix this place up. 1. Sports bars should probably play sports on the TV not infomercials and Harry Potter. 2. Simplify the menu 3. Create a new strategy for serving outside of one girl doing everything. Overall the food was underwhelming, but they did a great job accommodating allergies and marked Gluten free on their menu.
