For our anniversary we decided to try The Teton House. We made reservations online and it was very easy. We were seated right away. The atmosphere is great. Very casual. We ordered the tomahawk. Elizabeth informed us that they had a 69, 72, and 78 ounce available but if you order it medium or more done it takes about an hour. We chose to call ahead next time to get our order started. We chose to get a ribeye and prime rib this time. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. They gave us dessert to help us celebrate . Highly recommend.

Food was amazing as always! Service was alright, took a few to get greeted and served menus. After that it was fine. The owner came out and was super personable and kind. I am not sure what is going on with the temperature gauge in there but it was FREEZING the whole time we were in there. I will always come back for the delish food they serve I'll just need to wear more layers if it is in the winter.. brrr.

Teton House remodeled an old building in Blackfoot and opened what we found to be a well-run reflection of their Menan operation, retaining much of the wood of the original construction and crafting a theme around classic elements and furniture of the last hundred years, then fitting in pool, shuffle and roulette tables for casual fun, along with Space Invaders and a CD carousel. We had dinner once so far and this is what we found - food well crafted and presented knowledgeably, drinks the same; service light in touch but complete; many lovely items incorporated into the decor to keep you exploring and vowing to return. My star rating is based on 1) only one visit, 2) achieves expectations, and 3) very low occupancy throughout our meal. We will come back and the rating has room to improve with continuing quality.

We were on the road and decided to stop By this lil gem where everyone was very welcoming. From the soup, sandwiches, steak, and fish, our whole group was happy. All the food has great taste. Great Time!

She was friendly, professional, attentive, and incredibly fast without ever making us feel rushed. She checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, and genuinely made our dining experience even better. I hope Arianna's manager sees this because she deserves recognition for the exceptional customer service she provides. Employees like her are the reason customers keep coming back. I heard the other desserts were phenomenal and the steaks were great! - carrot soufflé: highly recommend as a side! It was fine, just had no seasonings which was very confusing for me - Boudin Balls: Our Louisiana-seasoned mixture of pork, Cajun spices, & rice. Served with mustard remoulade sauce. Same as above. Just didn't have the seasonings. I did make the mistake of calling and asking for good seating since we had never been there before. We ordered the garlic sautéed shrimp and baked Brie. Put those two things on the little toasties and AMAZING! You wouldn't think but it was so good. The food was good, but it was not worth the experience. If we knew it would take so long we would have gone somewhere else. The outside seating is comprised of patio tables and chairs lining the exterior of the restaurant. It was nice at first, but there's a bee that likes to fly around which even the server was familiar with. We did outdoor seating and getting there at sunset we were sitting there in the dark with barely any light by the time our food arrived (almost two hours to get all our food for a party of four - 4 entrees and 2 appetizers total). The service was friendly but it was awkward seeing some people getting served even when they were seated after us. I loved the chicken wellington and would say that is the most unique dish at their restaurant. The food is overall good quality but this restaurant is probably better catered for pairs who are looking to celebrate a special event together. Indoor seating preferred over Outdoor seating.

We…read morerolled into Dad's Bar & Steakhouse on a beautiful, buzzing mid-August evening while camping up in Alpine on our trip from Florida. Even without a reservation on a packed night, the staff warmly accommodated us and found us a spot--though I'm definitely calling ahead next time! The dining room was filled with multi-generational families enjoying incredible meals, and the bar side was just starting to hum. The atmosphere is genuinely, authentically Wyoming: welcoming, energetic, and full of character. Now, for the food--it is more than worth the trip. Do not skip the cream of jalapeño soup; it was absolute perfection. The steak was hands-down one of the best I've ever eaten out West, cooked to total perfection and packed with flavor. If you're passing through Thayne or staying anywhere nearby, treat yourself to Dad's. We can't wait to come back!

It's the perfect spot for hearty, traditional Midwestern comfort food. After all, how can you visit Potato Country without enjoying at least one perfectly baked potato? A little fun (and mostly useless) fact: Potatoes are typically harvested once a year in the fall and stored in underground bunkers. The ones you usually buy in stores are often nearly a year old. And if a potato starts to sprout? It simply becomes part of the next season's crop. The moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a time machine. The interior is warm and cozy, with darker tones, rich red accents, wood-paneled walls, and glass partitions. There's even a mud room and a coat rack ready for those chilly Idaho winter nights. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our server introduced herself right away and took our drink orders with a smile. I went with the Ultimate Philly--tender, well-done strips of their famous prime rib, grilled onions and peppers, all smothered in a rich cheese sauce. It came with a side of au jus for dipping and your choice of side. I couldn't resist ordering the Jaker's Baker, a massive Idaho potato loaded with all the toppings. The prime rib was flavorful and juicy, and the baked potato was hearty and satisfying--the ultimate classic meat-and-potatoes meal. When I travel, I love experiencing local flavor, and Jakers delivers exactly that.

It was tough and over cooked. Seared with a hard grill mark of burned taste. The man n cheese taste like they boiled it in broccoli water... or it was next to some but idk.
