My husband loves wings, so we wanted to try this place when we saw it. The restaurant was very clean and it was nice to see employees cleaning up tables as soon as customers left. Even the bathrooms were clean! The employees were very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our food. We tried two lunch specials that included 8 wings, a drink, and fries or tots. We got Barbecue wings and mild wings. They were both so good! My kids loved the barbecue wings. The mild wings were really good, but they were a little bit spicy for me. I thought they were great dipped in ranch! Their fries and fry sauce were so good! They had free refills too, which was awesome. Overall, my two young kids, my husband, and I all loved the food. I love Rocky Mountain Wingshak! It's a very frequented restaurant for my wife and I. We generally only go during lunch time, mostly due to the lunch special. It's a amazing deal! About $10 for a decent amount of wings, a side and a drink! The wings are always crispy and decently sized, and the sauce is delicious. I love my buffalo sauce so I always get medium, it's not too hot to make it through the meal but has enough spice to quell my taste buds. The garlic tots are really good if you like garlic. I generally just get a side salad with my lunch. Doing Keto generally means no tots for me! I think they might make their ranch in house, it's really tasty and the perfect complement to the wings and the fry sauce seems to be made in house too and goes great with those tots. I'm not kidding when I say we frequent this place, we usually go here at least once a month on our weekly lunch date, and we aren't going to stop anytime soon! read more

Don't, just don't. This is a failing concern. First, there the wonky menu. Second, there is literally no one here during a dinner shift. Third, the have a rule that for every 10 wings you can choose a different sauce for your wing, but an order of 15 wings only qualifies for one sauce. Fourth, so I ordered garlic cheese tots and received garlic cheese fries. This is not s sports bar. It's supposed to be just about wings, but it seems like they don't do anything special to set their wings apart. The tots are not really garlicky and the cheese used is reminiscent of a cheap Parmesan cheese like that used on the spaghetti in your high school cafeteria. It passes more for sawdust than cheese. The prices here seem high for wings and their being stingy on the sauces indicate they are cutting corners to save money. Wings are really all about the sauces and if you're spending nearly $20 on chicken wings, two sauces for an order of 15 is really not asking much. If you are not familiar with this place and you're looking for something new, don't take a chance here, there are just too many negatives for this place to do so. This place seemed to be a wing hotspot. This was the first time I had wings in the West and I can confirm that they're better in the East. They were still good, they just didn't blow me away. The bleu was pretty watery, the wings didn't have a ton of sauce. However, the sauce was quite good and unique. The spicy Hawaiian was really good, and so was the hot Parmesan. Just moved to Utah from Texas about a month ago. This was the only wing place that popped up that had decent reviews so I thought I would give it a shot. I ordered two 10 wing combos to-go. I got the hot lemon pepper and my girlfriend got the teriyaki wings. The hot lemon pepper was only hit, had no lemon pepper flavor whatsoever. The teriyaki wings were so dry, all of the sauce had dripped all over the to go bag. The wings were mostly drumsticks, I think I might have 1 flapper. The sauce was so watery and did not stick to the wings. The fries were so bland, I thought I was eating fries from In N Out. I also did not receive any ranch at all even though I had paid for it. Overall, very disappointed. I would rate this 1/10. I know there are some really good reviews on here but I compare this to the wing places in Texas. A chain like pluckers is SUPERB to this place. Really went in hopeful and open minded, left disappointed. This was WAY over promised and under extremely underdelivered. First time going here. We got the garlic and hot parmesan wings, they were pretty good. Also a good size. The service was great, they explained the flavors very well. The restaurant was very clean. The only bad thing was the amount of fries we got was kind of sad, you get a handful of fries in a big container. They were however, delicious fries. Just for $17.00 for a 10 piece meal, I expect more fries. I've seen multiple reviews saying the same thing too. You'd think they would learn to be less stingy with enough people complaining. As others has mentioned, this place varies from good to great depending on the customer service you get. The wings are good. XX Garlic Pepper sauce is amazing. I always pick up some wings in that and love it. They put tons of sauce on them, which leaves extra sauce for dipping your fries in, which is amazing. However, the service usually leaves you wanting. We tried to call in an order once...they answered, said just a moment, and then left us on hold until we had arrived, ordered (in person), and picked up our food. They do orders of 5 wings at a minimum. If you get 10 wings you can sometimes get 2 flavors depending on the person taking the order, but other times you can't...it's annoying. There is plenty of seating and they usually have a couple of games going. Overall they are the best wings in the area, but there isn't much competition other than from Buffalo Wild Wings. The wings we ordered were far from crispy and they had so little sauce on the them, you could see bare skin; and these wings without sauce were absolutely tasteless--good thing they had salt on the table. I ordered my wing with tater tots and these were good. I mean, they were just tater tots so the taste was nothing out of this world, but they were very crispy without being over done. I enjoyed their tots. Service was just ok. The gentleman taking our order was less than friendly and had no patience for my questions--his face and his tone of voice expressed clear frustration with the fact that I had some questions about the menu. The lady that brought us the food, made no effort at being friendly either but she was efficient. So not very friendly service but it was fast. I would recommend that this place has a 7 or 8-piece menu option instead of 5 or 10-piece. I love this hole in the wall, super awesome chicken wing shack! They're a little more pricey than other places such as wing nutz or buffalo wild wings, but wayyyy worth it. These wings are huge. Honestly, I would say they're about twice the size as what you would find at those other wing places. I recall paying about $6 for 5 wings. Trust me you don't need any more than that. It's just nice to have a small quite sports wing place. I think they could seat about 30 people. They have a pretty good lunch combo deal. About $10 for 5 wings, a medium drink, and a side. Love the Spicy Garlic wings! Apparently, they also have a 12 hot wing challenge, which it seems a lot of people complete.
