This has to be the worst most dishonest shop in all of America. Buyer be warned!! I would give them -100 stars if I could. I had a van converted into a living space that broke down in Jackson, had it towed to this shop for major engine repair and when I picked it up noticed aggressive issues with the transmission which ended up blowing the 5th gear on a trip to Utah. Come to find out the transmission was mostly drained but never refilled. To make matters worse, these transmissions dont really exist anymore and now I'm stuck with this vehicle that is not operational. When I confronted the shop they decided to go radio silent. I gave them a list of issues that were not present before allowing them to work on my home. Extremely loose power steering bots, A/c system drained but never refilled, broken hood ornament and more. Now because of this shop's incompetence, I'm forced to purchase a different vehicle and have even more distrust for humans. DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! read more

I heard Yeti had a reputation for ensuring that you'd need to keep coming back to get repairs when I bought my car back in Feb. Three separate people told me that. Boy, I should have listened! Not 3 months later, my wipers stop working and Yeti wants $700 to fix them! The quote was supposed to be free but they refused to give my car back unless I paid them $150 for labor since 'the tech was already an hour into it.' Go anyplace else - except Yeti Alpine. I know 3 OTHER people who have quit working there because of the shady business practices related to repairs (didn't find out until I started looking into this how bad this soul-sucking hole of unethical standards really is, after I purchased my car). I took my vehicle here for a check engine light. They said it was a misfire from cylinder #3. I requested them to change that spark plug, to which they quoted me 5 hours labor. I went home and swapped the plug in under 15 minutes and all is well. They're pretty proud of the scanner they used as they charged me for an hours labor ($147/hr!!!) to plug it in. I went back and explained that the plug swap took me 15 minutes and they replied "I have to go with what my mechanic tells me." read more

Worth the drive to Idaho Falls..... took 7 calls over the whole week to get anyone to answer the phone, then took two weeks to get an appointment for service. They charged $350 for various diagnostics without fixing a thing, including charges for fixing things that remain issues. Quotes $2700 to fix various issues. We asked to have parts ordered to fix the biggest problems(as much as we could afford), then never heard back from them and no one answered the phone for almost a month after that. $800 later in Idaho Falls and we have all the problems dealt with. Two thumbs down. Friends warned us that the service here was bad, but we took a chance due to convenience and it came back to haunt us. read more

Went to their used car lot in Jackson... the rudest manager I have ever met is who I got to deal with. I went in with my set price and notified them of my budget for this truck. They show me and take me on a ride in a truck that they claim is perfect for me. I kept asking the price and they wouldnt tell me. After about an hour there they come back with payments and the truck was $5,000 over what I told them my budget was. Which doesnt sound like a ton, but when you're wanting to spend $15,000, that's a third of the price added on right there. They pull the typical "what can we do to get you in this today" and I straight up said "nothing, you didnt listen to my criteria so this truck wont work" at which point I start getting frustrated. They wont give me my keys to my car back and keep trying to pressure sell me claiming I dont know what I'm talking about and talking to me like I'm an idiot... if this is how you treat your customers, I'm surprised you're still in business. He kept saying it's all about the payments not the final price... no shit sherlock, but when someone has already talked to their bank and has all the numbers in line, they can look at the final price. Bad service, bad PR, clueless employees, and Brad Wolf will even call you to defend this poor establishment. Situation: I own a Ram2500. Every time the truck starts it says 'See dealer'. No check engine light. No Engine or transmission codes. Truck chimes every half hour saying 'see dealer'. So I booked an apt for the truck, week and a half wait time, with very clear instructions to diagnose and tell me what they find. Not to do anything! I get a call saying it's ready. When I return to pick it up and see what's wrong, they said they went ahead and fixed it and here is the bill. Came here for service for our VW and had a great experience. We were on a road trip from CA and needed new tires. Castlerock was recommended by another mechanic in town who gets great reviews but doesn't do many tires. Castlerock allowed us to order tires from online and have delivered to them and then put them on our car. They also gave us a specific apt time, so we didn't have to drop off in the morning and wait all day, only a couple of hours. They have wifi and refreshments in their waiting room and charged what I would have expected for the service. Overall a great experience with the service department. read more

I contacted the sales email off the website on 5/3 interested in getting a lease quote on an incoming gladiator. I received an email from Kelbe shortly after asking what info I was interested in. I listed in detail what I was looking for a lease quote and trade quote for my current vehicle. I explained the term, down payment, mile allowance I was looking for and included my trade payoff, VIN, and pictures. Kelbe said no problem I can get that info for you. I didn't receive any further contact that day. Then nothing the day after that and then again nothing the day after that. I simply assumed those were his days off and said I'm not in a rush so it's all good I'll wait to here from him. I am a busy person and honestly put it in the back of my mind then yesterday 5/11 I emailed him again asking if I could get the lease numbers we talked about last week. He proceeds to ask me what unit I was interested in and other details we had discussed the week before. I was a little taken aback by this. Kelbe we already discussed this info and you even have it in your email. No need to embarrass yourself by asking for it again. Simply look at our email chain and you'd find the info you are looking for. Then this morning 5/12 I get a lease quote. Not only was my trade in value insultingly low. $4k below the lowest trade number from KBB. And he listed the mile allowance of 10,000/yr. Which is literally the complete opposite of what I asked from him. I have worked in the brand supported car dealerships for the last 8 years. Everything from lot attendant to service advisor to finance manager. I gave Kelbe every benefit of the doubt because I understand how this business operates. If I were you I'd probably avoid Yeti but at the very least stay away from Kelbe at all costs. read more

We were on a months -long vacation with our friends in Jackson WY when we got an ominous message on our Jeep Grand Cherokee dashboard: "Exhaust filter 100% full. Immediate service required. A huge shout out to Brad (GM), Larissa (Service Writer), and Tony (Service Manager - I think was his name)!!! We drove from Utah to Jackson with what we thought was a bit of an alignment problem. Our steering wheel was turned over a quarter turn to the left. Even though we just had the tires balanced and aligned, we thought it was a small issue. Turns out, the company who installed our stabilizer didn't properly tighten the nuts on the steering column and they had backed out. We were driving with a hazard that could have resulted in a major accident! Upon calling Yeti, Brad was super helpful and said Larissa would take care of us. She did! Larissa and the service team made us top priority and rushed us in, took care of the issue free of charge, and got us back on the road in no time at all. Would not recommend! Obscenely expensive. Incredibly hard to reach. And they charged $124 to just check the car out for less than an hour before we could move it to another shop to be fixed. Like. Who charges $20+ a minute to just look at an engine? I've never heard of anything so outrageous. The man we dealt with was very kind but at the end of the day that's kind of a moot point. I had the technician's (not mechanic's) over there install an American Expedition Bumper on the front of my 2014 ram in November of 2017. There were a few minor details I found right off the bat like missing bolts holding my winch on, and a bracket that fell out from underneath while parked in drive way. Camping season rolls around and I'm boosting 30psi pulling a grade and my radiator blows up. My truck some how ate the fan shroud and sent it through the radiator. Now this happens over in Wieser, ID. They replaced everything and when I got back out on the highway the truck ate another radiator shroud and blew out my intercooler. Come to find out the guys in Jackson left forgot the intercooler bracket on the driver side allowing it to move up and force the shroud into the fan. Also instead of using the plastic lock connectors holding my slash guard to my intercooler they ran bolts right thru the first core ruining my intercooler. These bolts did not fall out until the truck ate the second radiator shroud. After three dodge dealers including Ron Sayer in Idaho Falls failed to diagnoses these issues( they where baffled) I discovered all these problems my self in about 5 minutes under my truck when I finally returned home. Then the guys in Weiser left my wiring harness for my front bumper lights laying behind the radiator, in which the fan sucked them up and sent them right threw my brand new radiator a day after I had it fixed. Two radiators, shrouds, one clutch fan, wiring harness( one tough fan it's still going) and $3,100 dollars later I ended up fixing everything my self. Don't take your rig in to any of the above listed dealers. My advise is learn to fix yourself and save your hard earned cash from a bunch of Derrell lick technicians and dealer owners. read more

I will not be coming to this place again- word to the wise- I had a 8am appointment set- I live an hour away so we left early to get there on time- we waited in the waiting room until 12:00 when the service guy came in and said the mechanics go to lunch from 12-1. I asked where they were with my truck he said they still have not gotten to it. (I had an 8am appointment and they got to me after lunch 1pm) At 2:30ish I received a call that my issue was very minor- only a $7 part. The service person I spoke to on the phone before we went down said it would take about 5 hours to do the job if there was no major problems. When we arrived I was told it would take 4 hours to take things apart to see what was going on-and 7 hours if it was really bad meaning to over-haul my transfer case. So long story short I was charged for 7 hours to replace a $7 part walked out paying over $900 for what they called "booked time" read more
