A stock boy named Mike was exceptionally kind and helpful. A few months ago , another very kind gentleman helped me carry heavy boxes again. I think his name was John? You do not find good customer service anymore, anywhere these days - so please keep up the good work guys! Markets are a dime a dozen everywhere, but what sets this place apart is the cool selection of items and the warm customer service. I will continue to recommend this place to people :)

So disappointing. I've been putting off a review, waiting for things to get better but . . . after…read more12'ish years of regular shopping here, today is marking the end of my tolerance for consistently slipping service, questionable inventory and overall sadness on the shelves. It didn't used to be this way but the past four or five months the shopping experience here has been steadily declining. Today at noon'ish, the hot foods counter was bare. Absolutely nothing in the trays. The cold foods were full but- tired looking. I no longer get anything from the prepared foods anyway, as I was on the losing end of an interrogation about potato salad last month (. . . and exactly why is it orange?) that was never going to provide an answer from the uninformed employee. Today, I did get prepared chicken salad this trip as it's delicious when it's made to their original recipe (rotisserie chicken, mayo, celery) but not so much when the chef skips the mayo. And celery. It looks like it has everything in it this time, so I'm hoping. Today in Produce, I did find two tomatoes on the vine. Not the delicious, locally-grown ones I found in here last week, but beggars can't be choosers, so I grabbed the last ones. Last week it was scallions. No scallions- why? That day, the helpful employee didn't deny it was odd, he just shrugged and said, "Maybe in a couple of days?". I could maybe excuse the empty shelves and the clueless employees except for the cashiers who know better than the customer. Today was the third visit I asked the employee conducting a painfully slow checkout process not to squash everything in my order into only one of my shopping bags but . . . nah, he knew best. so all went in one bag. Then he backed the cart out of his way into the line of people waiting patiently behind me, (insted of pulling it forward) saying, "You want your cart?" Why do I want that cart? I'm happy to put it back in the cart line without you running some poor woman's foot over with it, but sure, I'll drag the cart around the counter and through the line because I'm standing at the end of the counter emptying half of what's in one of my bags and filling the second bag with it anyways, so . . . I started shopping at TFM for the quality, the variety of unusual items and the pleasant employees who were helpful, doing a job, and trying to do it well. No clue what's happening, but I can't annoy myself here any more. But now I have to find Malted Milk Balls somewhere that even come close to TFM ones, and that's not gonna happen anytime soon!

Sitting at the bar over looking the view toward the ocean is a plus! It wasn't busy at all and there were plenty of 20 something Staff wondering around and chatting with each other and was more like they were out at the beach! We ordered one regular Margarita and two entrees One Haddock Taco and one Fish Sandwich ! Both arrived and looked appealing and it was Hot and tasty! The Bartender was pleasant and basically doing her thing! The food arrived by another Staff member ! When we got the Check like most people they see the amount and pay it, but, it seemed abit HIGH! Almost $80.00 Looking at what we ordered the Bartender charged us for Two Margaritas plus and additional $4.00 for what I have no idea plus then Haddock Tacos on the menu was $20 but was charged $21.00! Then An additional charge for Administration Fee, now that's a kick! So I asked the Bartender to correct the bill, and she just removed $14.00 for the extra Margarita we did not have! Not to nickel and dime the Bill, still wasn't correct but we paid cash on $60 and left $10 tip which I think was a bit much! First and last time dining here for sure! But I know they don't need MY business cause it will always be a place to go and dine on the beach.

Last time I was at the parrot was a year ago and it was very good. Had been a regular for many…read moreyears but now more sporadic. We went on a Friday night at 6:30pm. It's a bit confusing where the hostess is to be seated, years ago it was obvious. Friendly Hostess is lower level at the bar area. We got seated upper deck because it seemed like a mild evening. The views are gorgeous as always. Waitress came over quickly and we got our drinks. Waitress was not overly friendly, but seemed liked she had a really long day of service. Drinks were good, basic captain and coke and a Nantasket cowboy made w coconut whisky, sweet summer drink. We placed our order and it got too chilly so we asked the hostess who was nearby if we could move inside. She was very accommodating and sat us inside which had beautiful views as well. A waiter came over and asked if we had been helped and we told him we were outside but already ordered. Our food comes out shortly, smash burger and fries were very good. Clam chowder was good but different, it was more grainy than smooth with finely chopped clams and bacon w good seasoning. The lobster Rangoons were great, plenty filled w creamy filling and the outside soft yet crispy w a sweet sour dipping sauce. Our waiter never came back during our entire meal to see how we were or to be able for us to ask for water which we wanted. We got the attention of a woman cleaning tables to ask for a check. Our waiter eventually came back to ask how we were doing. Well, we ate our meal and asked someone else for the check and never got water...the service is lacking a bit, and they seemed somewhat frazzled running around. It was definitely a busy night, food is great but needs some work on the service. Casual beachy vibe, place is sadly on the run down side, inside chairs not too comfortable but go back because I love the views and the food we had was good.
