Biting into my first breakfast cheese and egg biscuit from J and B Food Mart is one of them. The people here are so kind, the food options are abundant, and everything is fresh and in front of your face so you can customize your order. The cashier was counting cigarette packs and I stood there about 3 minutes waiting on him to finish. It was $7.99 for the tiny bottle of Nyquil, but I needed it so I got it anyway. The cashier rang it up at almost $11. I said that was wrong, the price said $7.99. He mumbled something I couldn't understand and just looked at me. I motioned to walk back to the aisle with me, and he did, and I showed him the price. He mumbled some more. I told him to just give me the right price and I'd be good. We went back to the register--I expected him to credit me a couple of bucks. He reached me back my $10 and took the Nyquil and walked away. I stood there a minute, then motioned to the Nyquil. He mumbled something else that was obviously negative, something about "you wanted a refund." I said no, I just wanted a credit of a couple of bucks to get the advertised price. He said whatever it rings up to IS the price. I left and bought a bigger bottle of Nyquil at the Thorton's for less money, and had a much nicer cashier. It's not the buck or two... it's the attitude that drove me away. If your employees aren't empowered to make purchases right, you must not trust them very much, and if you don't trust them, you shouldn't have them working for you.

Facility is well maintained and they have nice snack options. Restrooms were clean and in good shape. We did not gas up on this trip but prices seemed on par for the nearby areas we were traveling at the time. Overall solid and nice gas station. He confirmed that YES, I was telling the truth, however the cashier went on the smugly say 'it's wrong,' without offering to honor the price--if it's wrong, its on them--it's THEIR store and THEIR MISTAKE... I'm a business owner too and I would NEVER let a customer walk away for 30 cents. Not that the owner even cares, but I'll never be back or spend another time there.
