i usually shop at Fernandes ace hardware in easton, ma. on this occasion i was working in Medway and had a problem on the job. i was relieved to find Rocky's ace hardware right down the street in bellingham. as usual, Ace did not disappoint. the manager, Brandon, was most accomidating. went out of his way to make sure i was satisfied. highly recommended. read more

Went to this store the other day to make a copy of a key about 15 minutes before they closed, no even 2 steps inside the store I am being yelled at "we're about to close " very rudely by one of the employees, I looked at my watch and said the internet says you close in 15, he asked what I needed and I told him that I needed to make a key copy and he replies the key machine is broken. It felt like BS to me but I was like ok thank you, and said to myself you just lost a customer Im never doing business with this company again. read more

After standing at the register with about 50.00 worth of stuff for 5 min. With an employee 6 feet away at the paint counter busy on his phone and not paying attention.... and after walking by the My Pillow display I decided I no longer need to shop at Rockies True Value in Bellingham. Maybe enough people who believe in reality and truth will boycott them too. read more

I love this place - so much more manageable than trying to find something at the 'big' stores. And if the staff doesn't know where something is or it isn't their field of expertise, they find someone who knows where it is or has knowledge of the product. Special callout to James - I came in with a no name edger and not only did he find the correct wire for it - he took the time to install it on the spool for me! That is real customer service! Great hardware store with all of your hardware needs. They have everything here and the staff is friendly and kind.

Not good. I walk in looking for lubricant for the tracks of my garage doors. I am told that anything like that will be in the back of the store to the right. Look around and can't find anything related. Go back and am told by the clerk that they don't carry anything like that. This is a pretty big Ace store. Basically, I was blown off. Went out to the car and looked on Amazon. Tube of lubricant for $10 being delivered tomorrow. These people are going to lose their jobs, and if lucky, get a job at Amazon. read more

Yes some of the prices are a little bit higher than a big box store or Walmart but, for the convenience I'm willing to pay a little extra. Today I walked in and the sales associate at the cash wrap immediately greeted me. I told my son he's getting a good review just because of that. I went to get the items that I needed and then ended up getting cashed out by the same person that greeted me. Turns out his name is JJ. He was very friendly and personable. He's the kind of customer service representative that I would love to have at gap outlet! read more

This hardware store is ok to average at best. They don't always have everything you need. Prices obviously are a little more than the bigger stores. Workers aren't always the most helpful with things but oh well. read more

They do not honor their prices. I went their to purchase a hanging plant two days AFTER I saw it for sale at $16.99 as did another customer from Cumberland RI. The sale price was next to the plants on Thursday and on Saturday the plants where moved and the price sign moved next to the plants. I purchased my and the price rang up at $39.99. They went out and looked at the price and said it was a mistake. A mistake that was there for 2-1/2 days. They would not honor the sale price. Both the people from Cumberland an myself refused to purchase it. Both of us agreed that even though the store is convenient to us we will never go back. read more

So I will have to say it was good that when I called I got an actual person. Of course I was immediately put on hold for 5 minutes. After my hold time I asked about get some standard extension covers to put over a standard 4" junction box, so that I can actually screw one or two electrical outlets or switches to the box in the wall. So first guy... Describe what I need, not getting a warm fuzzy that I am understood. But he says that he will look. A second 5 minute hold time. Mind you the electrical stock for this is all in two rows that face each other in the back left hand side of the store. All he has to do is walk down the isle and look to his left. So, he gets back on the phone, "I am sorry sir, I am sold out of 4" junction boxes". Ok I don't need the box, I need the cover that goes onto the box. Ok guy, let's yet again... So I re-explain what I need. "Ok sir I'll look again". Back on hold. 1-2 minutes later a new voice picks up... This time the girl asks what I need. Same explanation.... Answer... "I am sorry sir, we are all sold out of junction boxes". Didn't even sound like I was listened too. So my thoughts... "ACE as my friendly neighborhood hardware store" ... Not so much. No junction box extender covers or junction boxes? They have what 100 different electrical switches for sale, breakers, outlets, lights .... But NO junction boxes to make the connections in.... Just doesn't make sense. I guess as a customer I shouldn't bother to call to see if they have what I need, much better for me to jump in my car, spend $3.50 a gallon in gas and waste an hour of time so that they can continue to talk about their weekend plans. I can drive to Lowes and be not listened to just as well. read more

I wanted great paint and payed top dollar for what they said was their best for my white kitchen cabinets? Regal Select Semi-Gloss Finish...It is absolute garbage, chalky, looks cheap, streaks with a top of the line $20 2" brush. I'm pissed. Their salesmen, its obvious they don't know what the hell they are talking about! If you look around Its amazing how much companies are "porking" the American consumer, its everywhere!! Call me crazy. Call me missing all the big sales at the big stores. Anyway, I always walk into this store, am greeted in a friendly manner and asked if I need assistance. I then proceed to find exactly what I need, every time. And if an item is heavy, someone is offering help right away. Prices are ok. Service is always friendly. Love the place. read more
