Meant to write this a while ago. I love Daddario. Great local mom and pop hardware store. It's the perfect place to quickly grab a few things for your household needs. The customer service is amazing, they always ask to help you find something immediately when you walk in, which makes it a very quick stop. I don't think I have ever spent more than 2-3 minutes in the store. This place is real good. Staff very helpful. Limitation is size. Sometimes you just can't find what you need because of limited inventory. They are always able to order if you can wait. Expert help is very different than big box stores. The can answer questions and give you direction. read more

I've driven by hundreds of times and never stopped in. I was driving by with my son last week when I remembered I needed roofing nails. Inside, I noticed that the woman at the register had her two kids with her, and they had a pizza and soda spread out on a small table. I liked seeing this, made me think that it was probably family owned business. She left the register to show us exactly where the roofing nails were kept. As we were leaving, we noticed another employee locking the door behind us. I looked at the hours on the door and saw that the store had been closed for 90 minutes! They must have been doing inventory when we wandered in, and instead of turning us away they took good care of us. Nice job! Small interdependently owned hardware stores always give you better service than Home Depot or Lowe's. The selection may not be as big, but I almost always find what I'm looking for. read more

I've been going there since they opened a few years ago. Although it is a small store compared to the big box stores, they have almost everything that you usually need from a hardware store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I also like how they stock up more seasonally more than other hardware stores. I found my roof rake there last winter when everyone else sold out. If the first staff doesn't have an answer to your question, usually someone else there does. I find that they bend over backwards for their customers there. Sorry but I will go to Home Depot/Lowes any day.. this place is overpriced and the worst part is they have bankers hours. Most people work til 5 or 6 these days but that's the time they close. Wanted a particular product that my regular hardware doesn't carry anymore. Can only get it online. I thought I would check out Daddario Hardware to see if they had it. I have gone by many times and hardly noticed them before. So I stopped in just to check, and was immediately greeted by a very friendly woman. I think her name was Kathy, not sure. They didn't have it, but she ordered it for me to be shipped to the store, so that I would not have to pay shipping to my home. She actually did the whole thing for me, and will call me when they get it. I don't get service anything like this at the regular hardware store where I normally shop, which is closer to home. I have had a hard time getting my regular hardware store to order things they do carry when they are out. Daddario has just made a new customer. I will be glad to drive a bit further for a place where people are so nice and helpful. I'm so glad that I gave them a try. read more
