Driving up to the venue, it was nice, but it didn't have quite the "wow" factor that the online photos and videos had led us to expect but it was the customer service that was the biggest disappointment of our visit. We had a scheduled appointment to tour the venue with a staff member. Throughout our entire meeting, she remained seated and wore sunglasses the majority of time. She never offered to walk us through the property or show us the different areas of the event space. Although she had printed pricing sheets sitting in front of her, she initially told us that all of the pricing was available online. While that is true, my daughter eventually had to ask for one of the printed sheets that was already on the table. Since we are just beginning the planning process and had not yet selected a wedding date, we understood that an exact quote could not be provided. However, that should not have prevented us from receiving a proper tour of the venue and learning more about what it has to offer. I eventually asked if I could walk to the ceremony area in the back of the property. The GlassHouse Staff Member said I could, but she did not accompany me or provide any information about the space. As I walked through the ceremony area, I realized it simply wasn't the atmosphere or experience we were looking for. We drove a considerable distance specifically to tour this venue, so the lack of engagement and hospitality was disappointing. A venue tour should leave prospective clients excited and inspired. Instead, we left feeling like our appointment was an inconvenience. During our conversation, the staff member also mentioned that the venue is already booking events into 2028. Congratulations on your success--that certainly speaks to the venue's popularity. However, every prospective client deserves the same level of attention and professionalism, regardless of where they are in their planning journey. Based on our experience, this is not the venue we will be choosing for our daughter's wedding/reception.

I don't remember if they offered that. My friend had the matcha and she loved it. They recently got a new matcha and she was worried because she loved the other one but was pleasantly surprised how smooth and delicious this one was as well. I definitely need to go back and try their matcha as well as other menu items because everything sounds so good. 1 star taken off because it is very hard to navigate with a stroller which is a bummer because I know tons of moms that love to venture out and find new coffee shops. There's an old home as the main venue, a large courtyard and a smaller building in the back with huge windows and glass garage doors that can open all the way for an indoor/outdoor spot. In the back, they've paved in the side and back yards, where bands set up, and additional galleries can be found. All of the art is local, handmade, and ranges in media. Some of the art can not be purchased, as they are installation pieces. The art here is all reasonably priced, and there's a great variety of artists and vendors selling cool stuff. This place gets hopping for Second Saturday, a monthly art walk that centers around the galleries by the train tracks at South Flores. The art is just part of the scene- check out the live music too! Budding artists can rent space here to do their art, and sell it when they have events. Other than Second Saturday, you might need to book an appointment to come by many of the artists' galleries, but it seems that coffee is served all day.
