Everyone there--clerical, dentist, hygienists, the lot of them--really took good care of me. I didn't feel like I was being judged or placated or ripped off or mistreated in any way. They were quick, considerate, and though there's no making a dental procedure pleasant, they did a damn fine job of making sure I will give up my ways of avoiding the dentist and neglecting my health. Found it right at bed time, funny how that's when kids like to tell you about things! We called here around 9pm and we were seen at 9:45pm. Consultation/drainage/tooth extraction for a total of $700, and $30 for the medication from the pharmacy. Considering how a tooth abscess can be a life threatening condition, I was blown away. I've taken my kids to emergency rooms before only to leave with nothing more than the same problem I entered with and a $1,000+ bill. We had been saving up for the past few months, we had hoped for a family vacation at the end of the summer (we've never had one since our kids were born) and unfortunately we had to rob Peter to pay Paul. When I told her about it she said that she had given me enough numbing medicine and I'm just going to have to bear through the pain. I explained that everything was numb but the tooth and that I have had root canals before and it has never been painful. She plainly didn't know what she was doing. My lips started swelling and bruising and to this day (5 days later) I do not have any sensation in my left upper lips where she injected me. I fear the damage is permanent. I walked out in the middle of the procedure as I feared for my safety and went to another dentist, who told me I had been injected in the wrong spot. Never got a single apology from her or her staff. AVOID ALLHEART DENTAL AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY!!!!. Don't wait until you hVe permanent damage like I now do. Even had a conversation referring me to different places of interest since we are new to the DFW. How sweet of them to take the time (while no other customers were there) was to tell me places that might be fun to take my little one! The dental assistant was super sweet! Very good with my son! It's important to make sure kids feel comfortable and relaxed and my son was so comfortable with him. And he even made my son a balloon animal! How cool! As if it could get any better the dentist was just as awesome! Very knowledgeable and great with my son. Very caring group of people! Made sure to schedule in my son for treatment before he leaves for the summer. I really appreciate their kindness and would DEFINITELY recommend them to everyone! The office has toys and TVs for the kids to watch in the waiting room and in the operating room with Netflix which is great to keep kids entertained. I love that I was given several options for my sons treatment and they weren't trying to upsell me.
