Recommend going elsewhere for your ortho needs. First appointment was great - very attentive and came up with a treatment plan. Felt comfortable confident and liked my Dr. Once my Invisalign was ordered, I came into the office for attachments. The office was under Reno so a temp space was used upstairs. There were cockroaches in the ceiling lights which is obviously not what you want to see at a Dr visit. Additionally rather than a FT technician who works at the clinic a temp worked on my attachments. For $6k+ my expectation is that there FT office staff in a clean facility. Thereafter appointment scheduling became increasingly difficult and as I work FT and go to court, Saturday appointments are critical. I frequently had to schedule after I was to change aligners which increased my treatment time. I did need a refinement for 13 additional trays so it took additional time for me to complete my treatment. Once my first refinement was complete, I was still not pleased with my smile particularly in my front two teeth which I had ongoing communications with my Dr since Day 1 of treatment and raising more concerns as we got closer to treatment completion. I did request a second refinement to address my concerns with front two teeth. Admittedly I did fall behind on my treatment plan to no fault of the clinic but at no point was I advised that my treatment plan has an expiration date nor in any paperwork. For $6k+ and insurance I would expect Invisalign and the clinic to honor smile satisfaction. I paid an additional $500 for more trays since I was no longer eligible for a second refinement and the Dr did offer a free retainer which was appreciated. The retainer should have arrived within several weeks. I received no phone call or emails or text messages indicating my retainer had arrived and when I followed up with the clinic by phone, the receptionist hoffed at me and provided me with attitude indicating they've been trying to contact me by phone and email, which is cute as I have zero contact from the clinic (I check my email daily and while I don't answer numbers I do not know, I don't have any voicemails). I've also had to redo my pictures and X-rays a few times bc the images did not save or capture correctly. And lastly - my Dr tried to do light contouring which left my teeth looking like they are different shapes. At this point I went to my general dentist and paid him to have him finish up the contouring and final steps of my treatment etc. I am disappointed by the lack of organization and professionalism of this office. I learned about this place from Groupon. Years ago, they had a groupon for Invisalign. I was nervous because I assumed any place giving out Invisalign vouchers can't be good. I got the voucher and made my way to Walnut Orthodontics. BEST-DECISION-EVER. Dr. Kanabar is great! And she knows how to pick a dream team. Her staff members are polite and extremely gentle. Found Walnut Central Ortho on Yelp and made an appointment when I saw their discount call to action. I've been talking about Invisalign for a minute now because my teeth have shifted but not enough to tell. Making an appointment was super easy and when I got there everyone was very very friendly. They even gave me an electric toothbrush for being a new patient! They walked me through step by step the process and suggested Invisalign for 7-10 months or I could get away with getting a new retainer. I felt like prices were very reasonable! I came to Walnut Central after seeing the positive reviews for this practice and seeing that Dr. Kanabar is an elite provider for Invisalign....and I am not disappointed! Dr. Kanabar and her staff are all very warm and friendly. Any questions that I may have are always answered thoroughly and I felt very good about going forward with Invisalign after the initial consult. I am almost done with Invisalign and I have to say that it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this practice to get it done. Walnut Central also offers a Groupon for Invisalign that can be used in conjunction to your insurance so I would definitely check that out. Only downside, and it's not a huge one for me, is that the patient area is an open layout. They do have a private room that you can ask for, but other than that everyone is out in the open which could potentially feel a little uncomfortable. read more

I am so impressed with how nice the staff is here. I got a groupon for invisalign and it's scary to start messing with your teeth at age 30, particularly when they aren't "that bad" but Dr. Kanabar, Laura and all the dental technicians are so kind and patient discussing the process and working with you to make you happy. I planned to start my invisalign before my honeymoon to have them looking nice but literally while they were putting them on a freaked out and asked if I could wait until after. Dr. Kanabar was so gracious and told me not to worry, I wasn't the only person to feel this way and that would be fine. I don't know many doctors who are so generous when you kind of wasted their time (though unintentionally). Wow! Dr. Kanabar and team are great! I did my research with braces vs invisalign to have my front teeth corrected. I saw that Dr. Kanabar's reviews were good and after meeting with them I can see why. It is a nice, well organized, technology filled, wonderfully staffed office. I felt the price was fair and the work impeccable. I've now been going to her for a year and will soon be finishing treatment. Dr. K and the whole staff are awesome! I had braces as a kid however my teeth shifted as an adult. I wanted to have a perfect smile for my wedding and they made it happen! I was given multiple options and plans and decided to go with traditional braces. Although having the "dreaded adult braces" was at times uncomfortable and embarrassing, Walnut Central Ortho made it as easy as it could be. 5 stars are seriously not enough. Dr Kanabar is Awesome. I did traditional braces as an adult and I was so happy with my teeth at the end of treatment. I had a concern regarding a tooth shifting more than it should have so I emailed the office on Sunday morning. I was expecting a call the next business day but that wasn't the case.
