This place has a cool style and fire food. We walked in i like the homey feel of the diner, immediately the cooks let us know we can sit wherever we wanted. Our waiter was also very attentive always checked up on us and was on top of Whatver we needed like condiments or our drinks. Food took about 15 minutes and you can see the cooks doing their thing, I really like the open concept this place has as well. We were in town for the Monster Bull riding at Silver Spurs. The locals had good things to say about the Rodeo Diner and it did not disappoint. Saturday morning there was lots of parking, we were greeted right away and told to pick our own seat. The waitress came right over for our drink order. Once we did decide on breakfast it came out quickly. Do not pass on the bacon! Thick cut and grilled to perfection. The 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy were just so-so. The breakfast sandwich was the perfect size. Price was cheap. Great little local hole in the wall with cute western theme. read more

This diner is just off the highway- and it seems to have been here a long time. The rodeo theme dominated the interior. The seats were comfortable - service was prompt, friendly, and courteous, and our sweet waitress asked all of us if we wanted to-go drinks for the road. I had the BLT, and it was delicious! I've never had such a thick stack of bacon - and it was all crispy without any weird fatty pats to cut off. The bathroom I went in was very clean. Lots of parking in the parking lot. read more

So...I know the locals love this place and I don't really want to post this review....but....I want to do a review a day and this was my first meal of 2026. We waited 10 minutes for a table before realizing we needed to seat ourselves....our bad. Then we sat in a old booth and waited to order. It was clear that the kitchen was very behind; other tables were complaining about the wait and saying they never waited so long. Yes it was New Year's Day, but it was noon and not that busy. We waited 1.5 hours for overcooked and incorrect food. My boyfriend never got his biscuits and gravy and it was on the bill. My toast was slathered in weird margarine. The water tasted weird. Our waitress was awesome and overworked and I left a good tip anyway....get the sweet tea. read more

It's more 3.5 stars food was ok average diner food mostly prepared by Sysco. The cowboy rodeo them is pretty cool old school breakfast with grandpa vibes. The service was very very slow and it's not very big. If you're close it's not a bad option and I gave the extra half star because the bathrooms were super clean and nice. This is our second visit and wanted to share some tips. Place has a welcoming feel. Servers are super nice, open kitchen style so you can see the cook. Everything we ate was super yummy. I am a big fan of crinkle cut fries (ask for them well done) and love the chopped steak with mushroom gravy , mashed potatoes and fried okra. Hubby got patty melt and fries (that I ate most of lol). Don't like the taste of the water so if you are sensitive to that as well you will taste it in tea. Not sure if they offer any bottled drinks but may want to bring your own. Everything else is super good. It is right off the turnpike so easy access when driving for a trip to Orlando. read more

My husband got there to do a take out order it took 10 minutes till finally someone took the order. He waited there more than 25 minutes people came sat down and got there food. He kept asking the waitress all she said was the kitchen was busy he finally got food and it was not good at all. The hash browns where not cooked correctly and the put it in a styrofoam container that melted from the heat so I couldn't eat it. We visited yesterday because of all the rave reviews, we ended up waiting almost an hour for our food which turned out to be one of the worst meals we've ever been served. I know this place has been around for ever and as a Kissimmee native I finally decided to try it! Not disappointed at all. I enjoyed that you can seat yourself wherever there's an open table and that everything is cooked to the side like at Waffle House! The food all tasted homemade, but in a good nostalgic way (not in a "I could've made this at home" way). The pancakes gave me nostalgia to how I remember pancakes tasted when I was younger! The French toast had a nice hint of cinnamon. The sausage and eggs are just fool proof, can't go wrong! I also got a sweetened arnold Palmer, probably one of the best I've had in a while also! Finally landed on Rodeo dinner here in Kissimmee. We tried it if you're looking for something that looks appealing this is not the place for you. It was extremely hot and the place was packed. Very friendly and inviting, you walk in and sit yourself. Found a booth and was greeted at the table by Wendy our server she is was awesome really can't give her enough praise . We ordered some menu items hard not to try everything from the breakfast menu since it was very inexpensive. But nonetheless we ordered, my bae ordered the steak, egg and grits with cheese with a side of biscuits and gravy. I ordered the create your own 3 egg omelette with home fries added peppers and onions with gravy biscuit. So food came to the table piping hot looked pretty good too. I was super excited for mine looked good and smelled even better. My baes steak was not even edible he couldn't even cut through it unfortunately he had to change it for turkey sausages, he did taste it and said the steak has good flavor but a tough piece of meat. His grits were okay after adding salt and pepper and mixed the cheese in. Now my omelette was good I had onions,peppers, banana peppers and sausage. I was happy. Our server came and greeted us ,after two other tables were sat, she got us waters and left to come back 10-15 minutes later to take our order. After our order was taken it took 30 minutes to get food and over cooked eggs. The waffles were disgusting and dry like sandpaper. This is the place of my breakfast dreams! We go to a LOT of places for breakfast, and we happened to find this one by mistake. The reason we visit so many different breakfast places is because it's really hard for me to find great pancakes and it's really hard for my boyfriend to find a place that makes grits like I make them at home. So we happened upon Jimmies Eastside Diner and from the outside you can get a little turned off. It's in a little strip mall section. And it isn't the best or well-kept building, but once you go inside you're immediately greeted by the nicest waitresses! Everyone is just amazingly nice! The cook even comes over to make sure that you're OK and God the food is amazing. Now let's discuss the food! First and foremost you're offered drinks. Their coffee is strong and they don't fill up the cup to the very top so you're able to add cream and sugar as you desire. Next, we had pancakes, hash-browns, bacon, home fries, eggs, and grits. The eggs were made with American cheese like we like and they were scrambled to perfection, not too wet not too dry. They weren't overcooked and we didn't even have to add seasoning which is a plus. The grits were creamy enough that you didn't need to add butter, they had the right amount of salt, and the consistency was on point! The toast was so good, they even butter it! It is so rare to get buttered toast and they add the right amount. The bacon was crispy yet chewy which made it very pleasant to eat and the pancakes? THEY WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING. Homemade, with just the right amount of butter, fluffy but with crispy edges, and thin enough that you didn't feel bad for eating more than one. The best part? All of this was under $22. I wish it wasn't all the way in Kissimmee, but we will be back! read more

The Rodeo Diner just seems that it has been a staple in Kissimmee, Florida. The building has definitely seen better days and though clean, is a bit shabby and worn about the edges. I was here for breakfast and I have to say that it was an enjoyable meal. Again, do not expect anything fancy. This not only goes for the ambiance of the establishment, but the food, as well. It is simple food and the menu does not stray far from the typical diner standards. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Comfort food is called comfort food because it is that, comfort. To eat a favorite dish from your childhood is to wrap yourself in the comfortable blanket of memories, to reconnect with that younger version of yourself. We need these old school, mom-and-pop restaurants, especially in a world where people seek out the corporate chain restaurants over these independent mom-and-pop restaurants.
