This is the most DISGUSTING PLACE EVER!!! and I just came thru Baja Mexico for the last 3 nights at better roadside holes in the wall motels than this for 1/8 of the price!!!!! The lowdown..... The comforter on the bed is stained, the walls have huge gaping scratch marks, the ceiling has stains on it, the A/C unit is filthy and puts out stinky air, the fire alarm in the ceiling is non-existent and the wires are hanging all exposed, the furniture looks like it's been chewed up by dogs and the door to the room looks like it's from the projects!!!!! I'm completely disgusted but I've called 10 other places en route home off interstate 15 and everyone is FULL! Update: I just went to take a shower and the towels are dirty and stained! Gross!!!! I wasn't expecting The Hilton but really??? This place wasn't cheap either, $120 for a king size bed for 2 people. I just can't say enough how very disgusted I am. I've booked for a several night stay, but due to work circumstances I needed to alter my stay. I don't need to cancel, but only need to shorten my stay by two nights. Unfortunately, they weren't willing to honor my request and stated that I'd need to cancel my reservation, incurring a heavy fee and reschedule a whole new reservation. First room sheets were not clean. Got a new room and the sheets at least seemed clean. There is a definite disconnect where some parts of the room seem like they upgraded and others are in disrepair. You are only allowed one setting on the air conditioner. There is no second lock at the top of the door only the deadbolt. My second night I came back late and my key wouldn't work. My friend was staying here while there was work being done on her apartment .the place is a dive room was filthy. Management asked to come in to check the shutters on the window and actually thought he was going to come in and repair them. I told them no. They can wait until she checks out . I knew this was a budget place and cheap but it is awful. Two rooms, two night stay. Upon arrival we witness two individuals come from opposite sides of the property and perform a drug deal, cash with a hand swap. Great start. The keycards are blank white keys, zero effort on their part, and two of them were bent slightly already. The bathrooms flooring is super slippery and dirty, the AC vibrates and the staff shuts it off when they clean your room so when you come back it's nice and stale and warm in your room after a long day. Overnight both nights we had items taken from the bed of our truck which had netting over all items and it is in a lit area. They took a nice powered air pump and a large water jug. I'm betting they allow weekly / monthly live in residents as the people around us did not look like business or pleasure people but sketchy people. The stay in's above our room, we were in 122, were banging and up ALL NIGHT!!! The first night I went to bed with banging, shuffling, knocking that went on from 10-12am. The second night it went on from 11-2am. I finally had to bang on the wall, and then they stopped. All around horrible stay, our family wasn't affected by the stay but it could have been better in every single aspect. Do not recommend, dissatisfied. read more

Went all the way to the top the next day. Was not offered any apology or anything at all. I didn't and don't want anything off my bill or any special treatment I just wanted help solving the situation so my girlfriend and I could sleep comfortably. I was again lectured, eye rolled at, scolded even. This motel was awful...the room was very uncomfortable small. Not very clean. There was no bedside lamp. Just overhead. No clock no hair dryer no coffee much noise from outside I was very disappointed And the second day they didn't change the sheets. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The filthiest place I have ever been to, in my whole life-- & Im old! Where do I even start? Large clump of mold in the back of the coffee maker; Toilet lid had pee (or something) on it; I scrubbed the toilet &a sick to make it sanitary for us (but left the gross band aids that were stuck to the tank); Every light switch was beyond dirty; Laminate floors had not been mopped in months (at least); Thick clumps of dust & crud all around the super old A/C that didn't really work; Dirt & crud in every drawer; Had to put a bottle cap under night stand to make it Level to keep the drawer closed; Ceiling light hanging down; Lot of dog poop not picked up in the pet area. This place was so bad, I wouldn't even let my dog walk on the floor! Unfortunately, all hotels in the area were sold out, & we were forced to stay 2 nights! Resembled a transient take over, with live in residents, drug deals in the open, and more undesirable behavior taking place. I will be reporting them to the health dept.! read more

With the understanding that this is a budget hotel, there are several areas that desperately need improvement. The Continental breakfast was the most pitiful selection and quality of food I have ever seen. The food smelled stale and there was a poor selection in general. The bed was hard as a rock and the sheets were the roughest I've experienced. Staying here makes you think that the owners don't care about you. Be prepared to be nickel and dimed at every opportunity if you choose to lodge here. On the front sign, they advertised certain discounts but told me they didn't apply since my price was too low(I paid 130 a night). I was told that I could pay the thirty dollar fee once if I didn't get my room cleaned but was later charged thirty dollars for both nights . Shoddy business practices. Do not stay here. read more

Pro: Right off the freeway between 15 and 78. Free breakfast - never tried it. Con: Insolent staff. 1. Stayed here before, everything is up to standard. 2. A/C location doesn't really makes sense, but it does work. Comes with a remote. 3. Possible parking issues. That being said, the management here should really take into some consideration on not opening mocking and smirking at a guest that had some tech issue and booked 2 rooms for one night. Since I booked the room from Hotel.com, I didn't really care on how the female middle aged Indian woman was telling me on how she can't refund me and good luck with two rooms. I was tired from working and just wanted to sleep, I took one room key and just called Hotel.com and it was comped from Hotel.com's end. For this hotel to have this kind of policy, while not even trying to hide they joy in some idiot just paid for 2 rooms and not having to service one of them the next day is just rude. Upon arrival, I gave my husband's card as I had made the reservation with his card. They ran the card and realized it was different name than the reservation. They refused to take payment so I had to run to the car to grab my card. They said they did not charge his card. After they ran my card they asked me for my card again to pay for the deposit, which they did NOT even disclose at any moment in time. I went ahead and paid for the deposit. When it was time to check out I asked the manager if the deposit would be back in my acct immediately, she said "yes, it is already there" so I trusted her word and left. I checked in Saturday night. It is now Tuesday and these people are still holding my money hostage!! Not only the "deposit" but they did run my husbands card. So now I am short $$ because of their horrible way of running a business. I will NEVER return to this place!!! Horrible customer service and the rooms are not as you would like to imagine!! The whole place smelled like a toilet, I'm pretty sure I found a brown, crusty ass toenail on the floor. Second, People who stay there are super sketchy and scary lookin. Can't say that my brief visit here was very good. Management was extremely unprofessional and i checked out within 3hrs of my stay. Here's the back story: I booked the room for a two night stay. I made a mistake when booking the room, i had intended to reserve a two-bed room, but i accidentally selected a one bed. My fault. I checked in at 9pm and informed the front desk that i had three people (myself included) staying in the room. I paid the $25 fee for the additional person (since they only prefer two people to stay in a 1 bed room). I thought all was good. My friends and i went out to dinner and came back around 1130pm. A friend of mine who we met with in town needed a ride home, and the four of us stopped by the room so he could use the bathroom before i took him home. Within seconds of us getting in the room, the room phone rings and it's the hotel manager yelling at me saying i can't have that many people in the room, and that we all had to leave or else he'd kick us out with no refund. Moments later, he was banging on the door telling us all to leave. I answered the door and explained the situation to him that i had already paid the $25 for the 3rd person staying in the room and that my buddy was just using the restroom and that i was about to take him home because he lives 15mins away. He was rude and kept telling my friend that he had to leave, then he walked away without giving an apology. I decided that i was not going stay for the duration. I went to the front desk and returned my room key and told him i wanted to checkout and leave. When i asked about my refund, he told me that i would not be refunded for the first night stay because i had already checked in for the nite and the office was now closed. He would not check me out until the morning. I had only been checked in for 3 hours, and he would not refund me for the night or for the $25 fee. I told him that if he had just talked to me individually instead of harassing us, it wouldn't have become an issue. I told him his service sucks and we left. Because i booked the room via the HotelTonite app, i had to call and coordinate with them about being reimbursed the fee for the reservation for the second nite. They called the hotel manager to speak with him, and apparently he was rude to them too. HotelTonight app service personnel credited my account for the $78 dollars. Overall, the hotel management sucks and are extremely rude. DO NOT STAY HERE. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. read more

For a inexpensive Hotel the rooms are clean, nice LED TVs, clean bathrooms and polite service. Little bit of road noise from the Road on two sides of it but for business traveling they have room to park my boxVans and they have secure parking. For what they charge their rooms are wonderful continental breakfast is what you expect for the price of hotel. Outside it says they give AAA members a discount and he told me they can't.. The toilet was dirty the shower was dirty the carpet was dirty. Disgusting hotel. Woke up all congested because of the amount of mold in the room. It smelled horrible. There was graffiti on tje back of the bathroom door that someone had tried to unsuccessfully scrub out and the shower was a drip of water. Listen if you are looking for a place to stay for the night you might want to consider staying here if all motels in San Diego are full. The check in experience was pleasant is all I can say nice about this place. Where should I start other than this place needs a remodel. The AC is so old that it makes obnoxious noises & vibrates plus we had to put a bottle cap in the vents to keep them open so the room stays cool. The curtains have holes in them from being old. The comforter is disgusting (burn holes) along with the mattress. I think they know that the beds are gross that they put brand new 3 inch mattress topper on the bed so you can sleep on it. The bathroom was crawling with Ants & the mini fridge tilts so far to the right that you had to lay beer bottles & waters on their sides. Definitely not worth the price they were charging plus you must turn in the key and the cover it came with or you will be charged $5 dollars. Plus the parking stinks. Honestly unless you are desperate for a place to stay don't come here it's dirty and really needs to be demolished. read more

People screaming and arguing outside the whole time, possible drug users. 3 gnats and 2 Flys were in the room upon entry. The bathroom light switch had sticky black marks all over it. Toilet had 2 Black marks (what looked to be rubber Shoe prints). Shower head was super low and dirty. We didn't shower. The sink sprayed all over you and the floor when you turned it on. BARE MINIMUM of what you'd need in a hotel. Location is the only thing good about this place; pretty central to a lot of things. We literally kept our shoes on in the hotel room if that tells you anything. Not clean to normal people's standards. Sheets and bed weren't great. Sketchy people staying there.
