While there isn't much within walking distance of the hotel, the property itself made up for it. The hotel appears to be fairly new, and everything was clean, modern, and well maintained. Our room was spacious and included a comfortable bed, a pullout sofa, a large flat-screen TV, a desk, microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, plenty of closet space, extra blankets and pillows, and a full-length mirror. The bathroom also had a nice lighted mirror, and like most Marriott properties, the shower was stocked with wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. The lobby offered plenty of comfortable seating to relax, watch TV, or enjoy a meal. There was also a 24-hour coffee and tea station, which definitely came in handy. I didn't get a chance to try the complimentary breakfast, but I did enjoy the coffee station, and the flavored creamers were a nice touch. Outside, there's a cozy fire pit with seating, plus an indoor pool and fitness center, so the hotel has all the amenities you'd expect. The only downside was the shower. The water pressure was very weak, making it take much longer to shower than it should have. Other than that, everything was excellent. The room could have used a little more lighting, but it wasn't a major issue. The front desk staff and every employee we encountered were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There's also a small market in the lobby for snacks or forgotten essentials, and a liquor store directly across the parking lot. Just keep in mind that there aren't many stores nearby, and most places like CVS or Walgreens close by around 11 p.m. or midnight. If you need anything late at night, you'll likely have to drive about 10 miles to the nearest Wawa, so it's best to pick up any essentials beforehand. Since we stayed on a Saturday night, the rate was higher than usual, but overall we had a great experience. We only stayed one night, but honestly, I could have easily stayed a couple more. I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you're visiting the area.

It was nice to have a brand name hotel here in the boondocks. I found myself here at this Quality Inn hotel and suites in Harrington, Delaware in the dead of January 2023. I was thankful during my stay here that it was as balmy weatherwise, and not snowing or sleeting. Just a little cold in the 40's but otherwise fantastic conditions. I found this hotel thru Hotels.com and got a reasonable night rate about $100/night. It was about 1 1/2 hour drive from Washington DC on the way in and thankful for friends who offered to drive me in and out of rural Delaware, instead of relying on Uber/Lyft. Best thing to do is renting a car or have your own personal vehicle. There is Amtrak / Greyhound service here, but not direct to Washington DC or Baltimore. I preferred direct. With that said, I booked a 2 night stay here and it was a typical stay without the bells and whistles you'd find in any upscale hotel brand. Just needed a place to sleep that's within my budget, location perfect, comfortable, and safe. They have a semi large lobby that had comfortable chairs to sit in. The check in process was great and fast, while being friendly. Checking out was good too. Fast and friendly. Same lady was working the desk when I was checking in and checking out, so I asked whether or not there is a shuttle service that runs to Baltimore, MD from here, just to save on the Uber ride, but they said that they didn't. Doesn't hurt to ask. The complimentary breakfast was simple pastry, juice, and eggs and sausage, when I was there. Not sure if they do change it up once in a while. The overall experience here at this Quality Inn hotel and suites in Harrington, Delaware was good and typical at the same time. Quality Inn hotel and suites is the type of hotel that you want that's reliable and comfortable at an affordable price. Although I do regret not using their indoor pool during my stay, the other amenities I did use, including their computer in the lobby, and their Wifi. For the most part though, my stay here was decent while being comfortable at the same time. Everything worked in the room, including the shower and the toilet, along with the television and the Wifi. The bed itself was a king bed and was assigned to a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the balcony. Not sure what room number it was, but it was the corner room before the balcony on the left. Everything about this stay was excellent, but as mentioned before, it seemed typical to me, especially without the bells and whistles. Almost like being at home, but not really. The room itself was clean and had a microwave and a mini fridge. Didn't use them because I didn't have any leftovers to heat up or store during my stay. Still, it was typical and a hotel you'd want to be in since the price point is good for what you'd want in a hotel in the boondocks of Delaware. If you happen to be in rural Delaware or just passing thru, and need a place to crash, consider the Quality Inn & suites here in Harrington Delaware. This Quality Inn & Suites is located at 128 Corn Cribb Road in Harrington, Delaware. Literally across the street is the casino, which is interesting. Like many hotel chains out there, they accept major credit cards. I'm sure majority of bookings occur online. As far as parking goes, the hotel boasts a large and generous parking lot for anyone and everyone who stays here. It's not a large hotel by any means, but a good enough hotel that supports the budget friendly traveler and those who travel for work or pleasure. Best thing to do is get a rental car or travel with a friend who does. Worst thing you can do is to drive up an Uber bill if you don't have any other options. I almost came to that point but a friend helped me out by driving from Annapolis to Harrington DE to pick me up. Of course, Uber / Lyft is there whenever you need it, which is nice too. It's too bad that Delaware doesn't have a commercial airport anywhere in the state. Closest ones is in Washington DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.0 stars for the friendly service. 4.5 stars for the room comfort. 4.0 stars for the bed comfort. 3.0 stars for the prices. To top it off there was an Indian man sitting in the hallway rubbing his feet full of fungus and white flakes were going all over. I would definitely never recommend this family owned hotel.
