Good room layout; very pleased to find a real bedroom suite so that the adults could shut the door and sleep while the kids settled down on the pull out sofa. Great amenities inside the room and overall very clean. The breakfast area was really nicely stocked and very clean, everyone in my family found something appealing to eat and drink. Cons: The super modern shower has no curtain; just half a pane of glass so your shower water graciously moistens the floor and the toilet paper as you shower. I hate this trend. There was also already some wear and tear and some moldy spots on the bottom of the shower ledge/floor which was not so appealing. We could hear our neighbors walking above our bedroom, the building is stick built new construction so you can hear everything in the hall too. Fine for one night at the beach but would be annoying on a longer stay. Overall a nice place for a quick beach trip. PS I booked it with Southwest points, so it was "free".

There is a large kitchen area, with a small dining table. Comes with plates/utensils etc. The living room area contained a large couch (prob a pull out) and long table for working You can set the temperature for your AC/Heat. Shower had half a glass, space in the back of the shower to place your phone/music equipment, there was soap/hair shampoo dispenser in shower. Bathroom was Very clean! Free parking Excellent , complimentary breakfast. Kitchen staff was super nice!!! There is a pool. Dogs are allowed I believe. Great location to Rehobeth Beach areas Lovely hotel, come & stay here!!

Our room is why I have 4 stars out of 5. For some reason our room was extremely humid. Like it was super moist. The carpet didn't add to comfort but made the humidity feel worse. The rest of the hotel felt great even though it was 90s outside even if you stepped into the hallway it felt better than the room itself. I called the front desk and she just said that it is always humid in this area. I was trying to explain it is only this bad in the room not outside. Anywho. The bathroom shower needed a bit more scrubbing and don't make the mistake of looking under the footrest in the shower like I did. . Yikes. Also there was no where to hang wet towels to dry so we could reuse them. We stayed the weekend and no one ever came to change the towels out. It is a 20 minute ride to go to the main entrance of Rehoboth beach fyi.

The staff here are friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby is spacious and clean. They have a big sitting area with tables and chairs and tvs. This is where people eat meals. If you are a guest you get a free breakfast. The breakfast is nothing special by the way. There were eggs, sausages, cereal, bagels and oatmeal and a few other things. I participated in the free breakfast for my first day there and I was not impressed at all. It was the same when I stayed at another Hyatt place in another state. The eggs were pretty bad and the plates, bowls and silverware I first picked up were all dirty. I had to go through 2-3 to finally not get a dirty one. There is a pool and a gym in this hotel which is great. I did not go swimming while staying here but saw the pool area. I did not get to see the gym though. The room as you can see from pics are spacious and have a little living room like area with a couch. And a little wall that kind of separates it. This hotel is located right in Dewey and is very walkable to the great bar/ restaurant scene. I would stay here again if need be.

My mom and I were sleeping in different beds and both of us could not sleep due to how itchy and scratchy the sand was, on top of feeling like we were sleeping on dirty sheets. When we brought this up to the front desk, they said they could give us new sheets, so we put new sheets on top of these soiled sheets. This wasn't a viable solution but that was the best they could do. I would expect a beach hotel would have better cleaning for sand soiled bedding and would pay more attention to sand but I guess not. Overall this was a pretty disappointing experience. Paying hundreds for two dirty beds was completely unexpected. The only redeemable quality of this hotel was the free EV chargers which we took advantage of for our Tesla and the continental breakfast which was delicious. But it's hard to enjoy anything when you didn't get good sleep the night before.

I'm listing this as 5/5 stars so people will read this review…read more I've always had great experiences at Wyndham. They're always clean, with good, polite service. However, the MicroTel by Windham in Rehobeth Beach, DE was not at all what I was used to from Windham, not even close. We checked in at 3:30pm on a Sunday (check-in time is 3:00pm). There was a long line with only one person behind the counter to help. It wasn't his fault, but 75 customers had checked out that morning. They normally had 8 housekeeping people to clean the rooms. All but one left in the middle of their shift, leaving few rooms cleaned, so most people checking in either did not have a room ready or were given a room that was supposedly clean but when they went to their room, it had not. There was high tension in the lobby. The manager had personally checked some of those rooms to ensure they had actually been cleaned, but customers still found them untouched. Several people just asked to cancel their reservation and not be charged the late cancellation fee, and said they'd take their chances finding another hotel. There were several people sitting in the lobby waiting for their room to be cleaned and finally ready, which was a very long time. The day before we were supposed to check in, the hotel charged a $100 incidental fee and then, separately, the full hotel stay charge to my credit card. Then today, they tried to do it again. As a result, my bank flagged these as fraud, which caused a further delay to our check in since I had to call the bank and get it all straightened out. So, the guests behind us had to wait about 45 mins. The other thing was that their credit card reader broke, so customer's credit cards had to be manually entered by the manager, which caused even more of a delay for waiting customers. Fortunately, our room was ready when we arrived and clean. However, with the above issues, although we were next in line to check-in, it look almost 40 mins before we got up to the front of the line. It was ridiculous. During our first night stay, we found that any sound from the rooms above or next door came through like there was only tissue paper between us. My daughter and I are pretty heavy sleepers, but were awoken several times. The included continental breakfast was subpar. Yes, the scrambled eggs and sausages were pretty good, but no fresh fruit, no yogurt, and the juice machine was broken the entire time we were there, with no other drinks other than skim milk meant for the cereal. There wasn't even water, but even so, at the first breakfast we had, they were actually charging for bottled water. Seriously?? Then the pancake machine broke. I've had better breakfasts at Comfort Inn's.
