I have used Israel for years and he always surpasses my expectations. He and Jose have renovated 3 bathrooms, taking them down to the studs and then laying tile for showers and flooring to create a relaxing atmosphere. Another bathroom he had to take a 70's bathtub out and put a freestanding tub with tile surrounding it and a rock flooring making it a spa experience. He has changed our kitchen by updating it with a new backsplash, which has modernized it. He also removed a hot tub and adding trex to create a beautiful outdoor living space. He also did our front porch with trex, which makes a nice place to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. He and Jose transformed our mud room by making cabinets, from floor to ceiling with a desk with a butcher-block desktop. These are just a few of the projects he has done for us. I can tell him what I have in mind and he sees the vision, which he then creates to perfection. Truly amazing. His son, Jose, works with him. They work in tandem and compliment each other. They both take such pride in their work. They are trustworthy. I know that the project will be done to perfection because of the attention to every detail. They work in fast mode. Israel tells you when the project will be completed and it is, unlike some contractors which might work 2 out of 5 days. Their job site is always neat, which to me is a reflection of all of their work. They are truly amazing and a pleasure to work with. We will continue to use them in the future. We're very pleased with the work Israel did on our bathroom, where he tiled the floors and replaced our bathtub with a tiled shower. Israel was thorough from the get-go, clearly explaining the process and our options after his initial assessment. I have now done 3 different projects with Israel and his perfectionism, resourcefulness in solving problems and commitment to each project is incredible. He is extremely knowledgeable of all home renovation areas, and very skilled at what he does and completely trustworthy. All of the projects were completely custom and unique designs, that presented multiple challenges during the construction. He thought through each step and always gave beautiful and innovative solutions. The result of each undertaking was outstanding! I am attaching photos of the projects, that exemplify the commitment to tackling anything and the quality with which he and his family fulfill the job. The first was a 12 ft butcher board, both waterfall and floating kitchen countertop, attached to a smaller granite countertop; the second a 17 ft long built in room divider and bench seat with a see through fireplace, and the third a very large projecting bay window bench encasement with bookshelves. I've now had Israel do 2 separate jobs for me and the result of each has been outstanding. The first was an unfinished closet full of 70 year old pipes and wires that 3 other contractors told me needed to be walled off. Israel came in and was able to adjust the old fittings, finish the walls, close off the ceiling which previously opened into the attic, and turn it into a wonderful storage area. During this project he also identified and helped me fix some dangerous old electrical wiring. After that, he was my first call when I wanted to update my 40+ year old master bathroom. He took out the horse-sized tub, reinforced the flooring, raised the ceiling and adjusted all the pipes before installing a beautiful walk-in shower. Everyone I show the before and after pictures to is simply astonished. I highly recommend Israel. He is trustworthy, respectful and innovative! read more
