The legal briefs were incorrect, the spelling of my own name and the case numbers were incorrect, and she refused to meet with me face to face, even via zoom. My mom worked with this law firm in 2016, I will say this her law firm was the only firm to get results in saving my moms house, we went through numerous atty that promised everything and delivered nothing, her law firm stepped in at the last minute and saved my moms house from foreclosure, yes she is expensive however if the cost you pay to save your home is a few thousand then it's worth paying for her services. I called and can truly say right from the start - the secretary was very sweet and calmed me down as she listened to what I had to say. She didn't even know at that point if they could help me with my problem but she listened and didn't interrupt me. When she realized that they could help me she took some information from me and let me know that she would transfer me to someone else, that person happened to be Anthony. When he got on the phone he calmed me even more about my situation. He said he would consult with one his colleagues and get back to me. Finally to respond to Ms. Rodriquez's attempt to shift blame from her own bad lawyering to her clients claiming "client's expectations are out of alignment with what can be achieved by our firm". Why? Because you can't "achieve" what you represent you can in order to keep billing month after month. Unlike Ms. Rodriquez, most attorneys have perfect State Bar License records with no legal issues. This is a terrible and unacceptable way to do business. Too many folks are getting harmed out there. Rodriguez Law Group promised to handle my case for $5000. They charged me another $27 and another $36 for paperwork as the case progressed. They focused on a narrow aspect and didn't care about the greater picture of justice that needed to be done. They neglected to ask the court correctly and adamantly enough about the losses I had incurred. This was for a dvro that also included car insurance and other property. They hadn't tried anything at all to call attention to those things. They were able to get the restraining order denied, but didn't try hard at all to complete the case in it's entirety the way it needed to be done. The lawyer they provided told me that at the hearing he was not aware that I already filed an FL-150. Rodriguez Law Group hadn't done much research besides the one minimal aspect of just getting the order denied. Their minimal work did not get me fully compensated. I had listed in my initial response before I hired them, the expenses I was caused from this dvro. In the end, the order was denied by the plaintiff and I was defended in the minimalist aspect. All other costs I am going to have to eat when I did nothing wrong to begin with. The law group did not prepare well enough to present the suffering of costs I had gone through. The attorney fees were denied without prejudice at the hearing and Rodriguez tells me they cannot help me pursue those fees, even though Rick had told me in the consultation they would be able to recover those fees. They've now gotten their money and are sitting at a comfortable rate per hour off of me. Patricia got snappy and rude when I pointed these things out. She even said I got more than my money's worth, which is irrelevant to whether the case was handled correctly. Money wasn't the concern in the end, it was how the case was handled. They have shown to be interested in profiting at the minimal effort of their work and not interested in true justice for their customers. They will not help me further in receiving the attorney fees nor the other expenses. I am on my own unless I pay them more money. Be careful, if they tell you they handle the entire case, they don't. I will avoid for any future needs. I would suggest you move on in your search if you are looking for an attorney. read more

I absolutely disagree with Ms. Lawson's review of the Rodriguez Law Group. When your property is days away from being sold through Foreclosure, you are already 12-24 months behind in your payments. Whatever your circumstances may be, it is nearly impossible to come up with that much back payments, or even get approved for a Loan Modification. And why did you wait until your house was almost sold out from under you and your family. You should have contacted your lender and gotten help completing the Loan Mod paperwork, or contacted an attorney long before you got that deep in the foreclosure process. Patricia did the job you hired her to do. In your own words, she "promised" to "help" you save your house. She didn't "promise to save" your house. She earned every penny, just like she has in my case. And the funny thing is Ms. Lawson, according a property profile search, you no longer own a property. I question how good your other attorney really is. I too am a client of Patricia Rodriguez of the Rodriguez Law Group. I've had the pleasure of working with Patricia for the past 5 years. I'm not a big fan of Attorneys (or Doctors), but I'm making an exception with Patricia. She is a dream to work with. My problem started when the real estate industry was devastated in the crash of 2008/2009. I am a Mortgage Broker, so when housing prices plummeted, so did my income. I fell behind in my payments to my lender in 2012. Patricia stepped in and stopped the foreclosure process. She was able to cease the harassing phone calls and nasty written communication from my lender (a big stress reliever). She filed numerous law suits against my lender and helped me submit multiple Loan Modification requests. When my first loan modification was denied I was sent information on the numbers my lender used in that denial (which is required by law). Being in the mortgage business myself, I was able to use those numbers to calculate my qualifying ratios. My ratios were acceptable according to standard mortgage calculations, yet my lender still refused to change their decision even after numerous discussions with Patricia. Her advice to continue submitting Loan Mod's and hitting them with law suit after law suit has kept me in my property for 5 years. Patricia and her staff have done amazing things to help my wife and I stay in our house. We have had a monthly update phone call where she was positive and upbeat, listened to our concerns, and answered our questions . Charged my mom 4,000 dollars from the gate. I ended up getting a DA reject but she supposedly didn't have time to call me the week or even day before court. No, we talked the morning of. Then when we spoke she's talking to me about jail time. I'm sorry if you are a hired paid attorney I don't care what your client is being charged with you're thinking or your overall goal should be to get your client off free. On the phone call she had told me," If they offer you jail time you could take it or we could fight it." I already had a pretty good idea I was gonna get a DA reject but I thought to myself," Wow I've had public defenders fight harder than this. Then after I got my DA reject, I asked if she could help me get my property back. She asked me for receipts for everything and said if I didn't have them I couldn't get anything back. When I called the detective myself he didn't say that at all so I just decided to handle it myself. She took my mom's money and then blew us off and was completely non-cbalant, didn't seem to care or have any passion or enthusiasm. So overall my mom paid her $4,000 to email back and forth a handful of times. I would stress to everyone not to bring your business here if you want an emotionally involved lawyer. read more

It's hard to know where to even begin how terrible our experience was with Patricia and the rest of the Rodriguez Law Group. We spent thousands and thousands of dollars with them over a 5 year span trying to save our home. The banks continually rejected her negotiations and would never modify our loans. We spent an extremely long time being stressed out. Patricia was very argumentative with us, the judges, and opposing counsels, and many times we wished we had someone else representing us, but after so long we felt stuck. There were several times we felt we might actually have a malpractice case against her. One time we even had an offer from the banks, but Patricia actually never got anything in writing and the bank ended up later denying the offer. What kind of Attorney doesn't get things in writing?! We were on the verge of losing our home several times, and in a last ditch effort I got a referral from a friend to Coast Reality Solutions, and in a very short time this company was able to save our home. I could go on and on about how bad the service was from Patricia, George, and the rest, (not returning phone calls or emails, arguing with us, etc) but you get the point. I hired the Patricia Rodriguez law firm 24 hours prior to a the sale of my property. The Rodriguez Law Firm promised to help me save my home from the foreclosure sale. I paid a set monthly payment for several months in exchange the law firm's verbal promises to help save our home. The Rodriguez Law firm filed poorly constructed complaints to the Los Angeles Superior Courts and offered no real help or relief from the foreclosure of our property. I have asked many times for my money back, I have been told they were paid fairly for work completed. The Patricia Rodriguez Law Firm stole my money and did absolutely nothing to help our family save our home. We hired another attorney who was able to help us in the end. The Patricia Rodriguez Law Offices stole over $16,750 from me and my children.
