I have repeatedly asked LaserAway to provide a clear, itemized breakdown showing exactly what treatment they claim I received, the date it was performed, and why I am being charged for it. Instead of resolving the issue, I keep getting sent back and forth. If LaserAway claims I received the new treatment they are charging me for, then I want documentation showing exactly what service was performed and when. I should not have to pay for a treatment I did not receive. I have been trying to resolve this directly, but I am extremely disappointed with the lack of resolution and communication. I will continue disputing these charges and pursuing the appropriate consumer complaint options until I receive clear documentation and this matter is properly addressed.

I recently had Ultherapy and Oligio done here, and I had a really great experience. From the moment I walked in, everyone at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The clinic itself was very clean, quiet, and organized, which immediately made me feel comfortable. During the consultation, they took the time to listen to my concerns and explain what would actually be beneficial for my face instead of trying to sell me unnecessary treatments. I was especially worried about facial volume loss after Ultherapy, and I appreciated that they brought up the potential side effects first and explained everything in detail. What impressed me most was how personalized the treatment plan was. Since I have less facial fat in certain areas, they carefully adjusted the number of shots there while focusing more on areas where I carry more fullness, like my jawline and under my chin. It made me feel like they were truly customizing the treatment for my face rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I had heard that Ultherapy can be extremely painful (some people even get sedation for it in Korea), so I was honestly nervous. However, they applied numbing cream and let it sit for about an hour beforehand, and the treatment ended up being much more comfortable than I expected. I had a noticeable double chin before the procedure, and I was genuinely surprised to see improvement starting the very next day. I visited this medical spa during its grand-opening promotion to try microneedling for the first…read moretime. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing and ultimately required me to seek medical care elsewhere. Despite approximately 35 minutes of numbing, the procedure was extremely painful (considerably more so than a full-face laser treatment I had undergone previously at a separate medical dermatology clinic). Immediately after the treatment, I experienced significant burning, redness, and bruising. Staff in the recovery area noticed my reaction and recommended red-light therapy afterward. Once the initial inflammation and purging subsided, my skin appeared to improve temporarily. However, within the following month, I began developing nodular acne, something I had never experienced before, along with persistent marks and worsening hyperpigmentation. The treatment consent I was given disclosed risks such as temporary redness, mild bruising, dryness, flaking, pigmentation changes, and infection, but it did not list nodular acne among the potential side effects presented to me. The acne became significant enough that I sought treatment from a licensed medical doctor, who prescribed clindamycin to address the nodular breakouts. Because the skin concerns persisted, I was subsequently evaluated by a licensed dermatologist, who advised me that I had procedural skin damage associated with the treatment and recommended laser treatment to address the remaining damage and pigmentation. I also contacted the spa afterward to express my concerns. The receptionist recommended that I return for a follow-up with Joyce Kim, the same esthetician who had performed my microneedling treatment. Given the severity of my experience and the skin problems that followed, I did not feel comfortable returning to the same provider for corrective care. During my subsequent medical care, I also became concerned about the professional qualifications required to perform microneedling. I had not been shown, nor had I independently verified, the credentials or scope of practice of the person who performed my treatment at the time as estheticians cannot perform any service that punctures, cuts, or destroys the live layers of the skin in the state of California. I understand that every person's skin can respond differently to cosmetic procedures, and I cannot speak for anyone else's experience. However, based on the level of pain and bruising I experienced, the development of nodular acne requiring prescription treatment, the persistent hyperpigmentation and skin damage, and my lack of confidence in returning to the same provider for follow-up care, I would not undergo microneedling at this medical spa again.

They usually require multiple sessions, and since I don't go to Korea often, the long gaps between treatments made it hard to maintain results, especially as I've gotten older. Anyway I tried a few clinics, I found on Instagram, but they were expensive and not always satisfying. Then a friend recommended Prima to me, and I'm so glad I found it! Usually, the consultation and the procedure are done by different people, but Shinhee does both herself, which I love. She takes the time to calmly and carefully customize each treatment to my needs. For skin, one type of treatment alone often isn't enough, but she really knows how to combine and tailor them for the best results. She's also incredibly kind and professional. She has even worked in Korea, so she's very familiar with the latest trends and equipment. Honestly, I feel like I got even better results here than I did in Korea--especially because she starts by using a machine to analyze my skin, which really helps to pinpoint exactly what it needs. The prices are reasonable, and she's extremely thorough and attentive. I'm truly happy I found this place!

She has a technique of squeezing your arm right before injecting you to minimize any pain. Way to go Lika because I hate shots! I was then introduced to hair Lazer removal. I purchased a package of laser hair removal. So I chose HOT GIRL SUMMER.... Brazilian - because nobody has time for shaving and heals razor bumps or ingrowns.
