Rojo's was the most affordable. We didn't opt for mudding and texturing because that would be more expensive. They started at 7am sharp as they said they would. They finished painting around 1pm. OK...so we hired Rojo's to paint our home in 2020. The exterior was not in good shape. Conversation went back & forth; my husband is not stupid nor does he have trouble comprehending business... These guys came in summer & we questioned that. They did end up working half days due to the heat. They rushed through, and even painted around things - like the ant stakes - as well as using our garbage cans for all their trash, making a pile of trash near our home, and leaving trash in random places in our yards. Now, the paint is peeling and it's OUR fault because we "didn't understand" what was explained to us. BS. As well, the owner left a very nice public message on YELP offering to talk about the issue, bwhen we private messaged him he never responded. That says a lot The fact is, it was over 100, the place needed work, and they simply didn't want to put in the time or effort. We didn't misunderstand or fail yo comprehend anything. It was just a poorly done job. 3 stars because at least it's not a hideous beige color anymore & one of the guys came & picked up the pile of trash. read more

Had our back yard metal fence painted by Rick and his team many months ago. It looked great but then the paint failed and began peeling in areas. Rick came out with the paint manufacturer rep and promised to make it right. They finished up recently and it looks better than ever. I'm not thrilled with this company at all. Full disclosure, we did not have any painting service performed by them so I cannot rate that, but what I am rating is the fact that they simply just never responded after coming out to look at the project. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but now it has been over 3 weeks after being told I would receive a quote via email. I have called, left voicemails, sent a message here on Yelp (which was left read) I have not received a single response. I understand being busy, they even gave us a heads up at the time of coming to the house they had a large work load right now, but please improve communication skills and respond saying the job won't work out if you aren't able to do it. read more

Rojos came highly recommended. They painted our house in 2020. Originally I questioned if they should have scraped the house of the old peeling paint first, but was told it was not necessary. Now only two years later the paint is peeling off. It looks like it did before Rojos painted. I cannot recommend this company. Just wanted to thank the Rojo's, and crew, for their professionalism, candor, and ETHICS on a job completed (and well done) a few weeks ago. I contacted Rick (with Rojo Painting) after receiving a ridiculous quote/bid from an independent painter (ironically, referred by a friend). I am preparing a home for sale in Fresno, CA, and like most of the homes I sell -- I wanted fresh paint. I have bought & sold MANY homes over the years, so I know a bs bid (instantly) when I see one. And beleive me -- the guy before Rick was probably the most exorbitant bid on a job this size that I'd ever seen! These days, I don't even entertain this sort of nonsense, and rather -- I thank them for their time (rather than argue about how scandalous and unethical their bid was) and move on to the next contractor. Frankly, this type of character doesn't deserve my time... In any case, Rick was pretty much booked up when I called (for weeks), and unsure if he could find the time to get my job done by the time I needed/wanted it done. He decided to come bid the project anyway,...and met me on a Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning I checked my email, and had a legitimate -- ETHICAL -- quote sitting on my computer screen. The only question from there was, "hey Rick -- when can you start?" We booked the job about two weeks out, with the caveat that he would call me if something on his calendar freed up sooner. ...I just want to take a moment of silence to thank the weather man for being correct, and raining Rick out on a different job, freeing his crew up for mine, lol... We went from a job that would take about three days to complete, to an entire crew showing up to the house (an entire week early) and leaving excellent work behind -- IN ONE DAY. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, which is probably the primary reason I decided to sit down and write this review... As Rick and I toured the home, we came across a door that wouldn't shut. The renter had put a door in (after a roommate damaged it), but she purchased a slab for the replacement (instead of a pre-hung door). As a result, the dimensions were just a tad too wide, and sandpaper wasn't doing the trick. Rick saw this conundrum, and without even pausing for thought -- asked me if I would prefer for his company to fix my issue, as opposed to me buying another door, and losing even more time. He explained exactly what they would do, how & why, and it was added as an EFFORTLESS line-item on the invoice. Since he seemed to have a very diverse skill-set, and a willingness to go above and beyond for his customers -- I then asked him if he happened to own a power-washer, and if so -- if he wouldn't mind taking care of the driveway for us. And just like that -- another line-item on the invoice; effortless, simple, and fair-priced. I cannot say enough about Rojo's Painting, and their crew. Before even receiving the bid, I knew it would come in "fair," because when I asked Rick how long they'd been in business, the response took us back to the 60's/70's, (if I remember correctly), where 'it all started' with his father. Obviously Rick, his brother, and crew, have taken the torch passed by their father, and are doing great things with the opportunity. I love it when a contractor shoots straight from the hip with honest answers to legitimate questions, and FAIR ETHICAL PRICING, without the need for haggling/negotiating to bring their numbers down to Earth. As you've read above, sometimes those numbers are too ridiculous to even propagate a fruitful conversation/negotiation... I could have talked Rick down on the numbers (I believe), but there was no need; they weren't too high to begin with! Frankly --- they were just about right. Moreover, he was fair, professional, and worth every penny I paid, because the job was a JOB WELL DONE. Thanks Rick, brother, and crew... Rick came over and in 7 minutes assessed 4 rooms of our home and the removal of acoustic (popcorn) ceiling. We got a bid that night. Eddie and his team (3 terrific gentlemen!) came over the following week and spent 4 days in my house. EXCELLENT! They double checked with us about ceiling texture, did exactly as I asked. I think they are amazing results! The painting was spot on as well including caulking and trim work. I actually think they left my house cleaner than it was before they came. Admittedly, there's a lot of fine dust leftover but they went way out of their way to clean as many surfaces as possible and even took my garbage out and set it on the curb before garbage pickup. It is always nice when the good yelp reviews actually match your experience with a company. This was definitely the case with Rojos. We were very pleased with how professional and efficient RP was. We bought our house and wanted to get most of the interior painted. We soon realizedthat it was the busy season for painters. We were having so much trouble finding someone who could fit us into their schedule. We called RP and they came out the next day to give us a bid. They told us that they could paint the house in 2 weeks. We had been hoping to get it done sooner, and RP worked it out and got it done a week earlier than anticipated. The Valley is so fortunate to have Rojo's Painting. I got a sky high quote from another prominent local company, and they never even showed up in person, just mailed the quote and informed me of the brand of paint they require you to purchase. Rick, however, came out to the house and walked around with me and discussed what I had in mind. He's very genuine and does not mind explaining things, such as the differences in quality and appearance of various grades of paint. Once his terrific crew was on the job, they stayed on the job. Our house was transformed in no time, and it looks stunning. They don't just spray on the paint, they also back roll it so the finish is flawless.
