At least one employee in this establishment is shockingly rude…read more I called this afternoon to see whether they might stock a battery for my 2008 Triumph Bonneville. After making my way through the voicemail, I reached a friendly gentleman in parts. He informed me that "we almost certainly have that battery in stock; let me check," and put me on hold. I waited patiently for about 6-7 minutes, then someone else picked up. The subsequent conversation, which took place about twenty minutes ago, was pretty short, so I'll reproduce it in full: Employee: Who are you holding for? Me: I was speaking with someone in parts; he's looking into availability on a battery for me. Employee: Well, he put you on hold because we got so many people here it's going to be about 45 minutes before he can look up your part. So you can keep holding or you can call back -- it's your choice. Me: Okay, so should I just wait about 45 mins and call back? Employee: [In a snarky/patronizing/"problem employee"/passive aggressive voice] You want to wait on hold for 45 minutes? Me: No... Employee: Well then call back. [Immediately slams receiver down on me.] Now let me just mention a few things. I'm easy-going and, as a local business owner myself, I certainly don't like to badmouth a Northampton retailer, especially during these hard times. And I also understand that a workplace can be frustrating when things are piling up. So I would have been very understanding if the second guy who picked up had said something simple like "Hi, we're really backed up. Can you call back later?" Or anything of a similar tenor. Instead, this person decided it would be more appropriate to present me with what amounted to a false choice, then hit me with a nasty and patronizing tone when I -- unaware that he was just looking for an opportunity to unload his attitude on an unsuspecting customer -- simply sought some clarification as to what he wanted me to do. To recap: I was just looking for a battery. I was going to give them my business. This was utterly uncalled for. To the owner of this business, I would suggest that this employee needs a serious talking to.

Had a good experience overall. Saw a news article that they…read morehad reopened and the curiosity got the better of me. Checked what they had in stock, saw a 21 Iron, really liked it and decided to give them a call. Chris, the guy that helped me, was super nice, knowledgable and polite, knew his bikes very well. Gave me additional photos, videos and even took it for a test drive for me and sent me a video of that too! The problem was I am for Connecticut so I could not just go to the dealership and see it in person. After quite some time, I decided to buy it unseen and have it delivered. Signed the contract, made the payment and received the shipping confirmation a few days later. I was supposed to get the bike in about 7 days, but because they deliver multiple bikes at the time, my delivery was last and it was a bit late, 2 days late. Not critical because the price for the delivery itself was very good, but still not the most pleasant thing to happen in the 21 century. Chris was always available throughout this period and even checked on me afterwards to see if everything s okay. They even sent me a couple of t-shirts as a sorry a couple of days later. Quite satisfied with the purchase and the process overall.

Great folks! Terrific Motorcycles! Super customer service!…read more I purchased a classic British motorcycle from Ken Kaplan Jr. It was as described and arrived in perfect condition. The paperwork had to be sought from out of state. Ken stayed up on it, and the moment it arrived, he executed it and sent it my way across country. Highly recommended!

Final price figured was $100.00 more than the sum of all the charges put together, mistake? Was told that the bike would be shipped in one to three weeks tops. Turned out it took 39 days to get here. One excuse after another. Bike arrived very dirty like it had been outside in mud and with dead battery, charged the battery road 3/4 miles up to the corner, turned around and started back when it quit running like it was out of gas. Pushed the 500lb bike 1/2 mile back home and discovered the gas tank fuel petcock was completely plugged with rust scale as was an inline plastic filter that was laying against the cylinder head melted and warped from the heat. A new petcock and filter had supposedly just been installed?? Also on the short test ride I noticed that the speedometer was not working and still showed the 5442 miles that was in the pictures after Ken's road test and great review. So much for a quoted "low mileage, pristine, museum quality motorcycle". It did get a good cleaning and new tires, but not much else. Very disappointed in the motorcycle condition, and in Ken Jr.'s Used Car Salesmanship BS tactics. Paid top dollar for an average motorcycle that I could have found her in eastern Idaho for a lot less money and hassle.

The service department has always taken care of what I've needed and never tries to get me to pay for services or parts I don't want or need (unlike most car dealerships I've encountered) I go out of my way to get my bike inspected here just because I like the people so much. Jeremy and Jessica are awesome and knowledgeable owners. Chris, in parts knows his stuff and always finds what I want at a reasonable price. Aside from being fair, the people here are really kind, and generous. They have charity events throughout the year to benefit the community, like Christmas photos with Santa in a ural! I took my dog, and they always welcome him when I bring him in :)

I never sit here and write reviews but I had to warn people about this place, they also worked on a 400 i used tk have same thing; missing bolts and clearly ridden (over 15 miles) shoddy business people and outright stealing regarding prices, RUN! 0 stars if i could.
