Very nice but very small boutique Rolex store located off Robson St. kinda weird to have armed guard open 2 doors for ya to gain entrance but it's the sign of the times. So I came in a struck out! Only exhibition watches in the building. Folks that means we're not selling FRANK a watch, you can look but not buy. Maybe had I brought some Grey Poupon with me I would have had a opportunity. But the nice gentleman with short skinny slacks informed formed me nothing was for sale unless I was on the list, LOL. However he graciously did offer me water not once but twice and a magazine aside from his " NO WATCHES FOR YOU " stance. Hell I wanted to just try on a Daytona ghost and they don't even have a Daytona in the boutique. I'll be back and maybe you'll have something for Frank to buy. My wife and I were visiting from the US and stopped in to take a look at some watches. We were instantly greeted by Eric Chen and welcomed with warmth and hospitality. We sat down and discussed some recent trends in the watch space around Rolex, and he showed us some really cool models - a green and black ceramic GMT on oyster bracelet - and gave us all of the technical details. Eric was very knowledgeable. Although we weren't able to buy anything today, Eric took care of us very well and provided us with a very memorable experience that left us in good spirits the rest of the day. It was a short wait before we got inside the shop because we didn't have an appointment. Then we were being greeted by Eric. He presented us the five watches they have in stock for clients to purchase. Eric's knowledge about the watches was impressive, and he took the time to answer all my questions. Even though none of the watches they have available fulfill our "wishes", we still had a great experience there learning about the watches. If you're shopping here, make sure to ask for Eric--he's fantastic! By the way, the security guard was very kind too. These people are rude -- just the opposite of how customer service should be. When I arrived they told me they were busy helping someone else and asked if I could come back in 15 minutes. So I did. When I returned I could see three sales people standing around chatting with each other. They still would not let me in. The AP, Tudor, IWC, and Hublot boutiques down the block were far more kind, and were happy to take my money. I hope Rolex corporate takes these clowns' franchise. read more

We were immediately greeted by a salesperson that was extremely rude and didn't allow us to step in the door. We were told we needed an appointment but we were not allowed to make one. This salesperson assumed we did not have any money to purchase irrespective of the fact that she knew nothing about us. So rude and pretentious. The sales lady poked her head out of the door and asked what we wanted. (It's obvious, yes? To look, ask questions, get on list, pick up etc) She shut the door in our faces, then came back to let a man leave and then let us in- the security guard barked at me to remove my sunglasses and look in the cameras, as though I was stealing). I get that Vancouver has lots of crime but wow. Salesman was pretentious and snobby. We don't carry/wear pricy items when traveling. I guess they assumed we weren't good enough for good service. Discriminatory business practices. I walked into the store and gave the specs of the watch I wanted to the SA. Not a few days later she messaged me to say that she got the watch in! I was so excited and planned on going to the store next day with my fiance to try it on. However, that's when the interactions turned sideways. She said that she couldn't hold the watch for me without a deposit, I was happy to give her my credit card over the phone and send her a picture of my photo ID but she said that due to company policy she wouldn't accept credit card deposits but she was able to take wechat pay?!? She went on with her extremely pushy sales tactics and advised that her colleagues have clients next in line willing to use wechat pay. She asked if I could go to the store immediately, bear in mind this was 2:30pm, I was working and didn't get off until 4:30. I said I could come after work and asked what time they closed, she said due to a protest downtown they are closing early at 5pm. As it is first come first serve basis she could not hold the watch. I was upset, she messaged me at 2pm and expected that I either have wechat pay or the choice of going into their store with less than 3 hours notice. Their tactics are not conducive of high end luxury brand and gears sales towards mainland Chinese citizens with access to wechat pay. This is discrimination at its finest. I was so distraught and mad that this is how Rolex conducted their business. I was recommended to go to Montecristo. So The next day I took my fiance to Montecristo and bought him the bigger model datejust than the one I originally wanted to purchase. read more

Extremely rude won't let you in the store without an appointment. Why make an appointment when they likely have nothing to sell anyway. Every time I get the urge to buy one the easiest way to chase it away is to attempt to shop for one. It works every time. And it's probably for the best given that Rolexes are a massive ripoff anyway. read more

I wanted to add another timepiece to my collection and instead of going to the usual authorized dealer I purchase from I decided to come in here as they have a larger selection. A younger Asian sales associate greeted me as I entered the store and then proceeded to ask me questions about what watch I want. He then said I should buy a better and newer Day-Date as mine is "too old". I then asked to look at a Datejust and he insisted that it was for a mature person and I should buy something more sporty. He then took out a gold Daytona and asked if I liked it. I said "yea it's not bad" and he then asked me for my credit card. I said I will have to think about it and he then proceeded to ask me what I do for a living and if the watch was too expensive. I told him that I would like to see a couple of other brands before I make a decision and he said if I buy it he would give a gift that money can't buy. He continued to ask for my credit card before I walked out the door. I have never experienced such poor service from any other watch store. I would not return. read more

I have a brand new Rolex Sky Dweller that I bought a few months ago. Finally decided to have the links adjusted rather than just to collect it in the box. The person greeted me nicely, but just to let me know it will cost $50 to adjust the links since I didn't buy the watch there. I brought a Rolex into the Rolex store, and you wouldn't do something simple like that on your own watch? I can understand if I bring another brand of watch but it's the same brand on your store front. Very disappointing and will rethink my future watch collecting direction. read more

I asked to look at a few models in this boutique as I've been wanting to add a Rolex to my collection. I was recommended by the AD to go look at the website as the boutique is as big as a 'museum' (his words) and instead of looking there just pick the watch I want over the website and then come and buy! May I ask, if that's the case what's the purpose of having your boutique??? Just sell your watches online... Chloe emailed me back and advised that the watch was not in stock (it's very difficult to find) but I could still visit the store if I wanted to.
