mathis small, strip center taquito spot is A HIDDEN GEM!! I almost hesitate sharing how good it is Plenty of free surface parking. Small menu cuz they know what they do well. Counter service - so you order, pay, fill your drinks and have a seat while they cook your order. That's when the good stuff starts, the taquitos and taco is delicious. We tried the beef and chicken taquitos and adults and kids all loved them. The tortilla, the meat, the scrumptious toppings ... these are just really good. Then we also tried the ground beef taco - YUM. And if you like crunchy corn tacos with flavorful ground beef like Mom made, these bring you back to childhood... nothing extra fancy, just fresh and good. We also got a side of guacamole that everyone devoured. Then tried fries with ground beef and wow... why are these so good?! Street corn was also a nice side.

I always want to support small business and after seeing a few TikTok videos, how ultra clean the restaurant was, I see big plump taquitos, so I decided to try it. I will say the staff is amazing, very welcoming, educated me on the menu and I opted for the 2 taco combo, a side of 2 taquitos beef n corn, and chicken corn plus a few dipping sauces. Pros: The best hands down Spanish rice from a fast food I've ever had. Fluffy, tomato flavor, amazing rice. The beans were also great, soft, strong bean flavor, velvety texture. The jalapeño ranch is as good as Wingstop ranch, another example of one of the best ranches on the market. They should bottle it and sell it. Green gobblin sauce was good but not spicy, good green salsa, and the lite em up sauce to me tasted like good mayo. The fresh toppings on the crunchy taco were superb, amazing thick abundant amount of cheese which I love. Fresh lettuce, cold and strong cheese flavor, it helps cut through the oily shell, it needs the freshness. Cons: The taquitos were not what I was expecting online. They were too greasy and too thin. I saw pictures of the taquitos online from other yelpers and the ones I got were a let down. Too thin and tiny, the flavors are amazing though so it does taste better than it looks. Too greasy but the fresh toppings add more value and flavor in my opinion. The tacos, geez. Hard to eat, the shell was already cracked in half when I unwrapped it. It's hard to eat when all the beef falls off and the lettuce is all over the place. I think they were cooked too long, the shell was over fried, and too greasy. GREASY. I still have a lingering oil flavor in my mouth. To me it's like an elevated Jack n the box taco, both are greasy but Roll Em Up has better beef quality, larger amounts of lettuce, more cheese, and great dipping sauces. I will say for $21 for all that I got, I felt like it was slightly above the value, 6/10.

1000/10 definitely will be back and very soon. The restaurant is clean and well kept and has a great theme. The customer service is top tier from the moment you walk in, Bre was amazing and made my experience there one to remember. The food was made fresh to order and was DELICIOUS. Made in house fresh you can't beat that. I highly recommend checking them out it is also a family owned restaurant with monthly specials.

Came here on a Saturday which happened to be their hard opening. They were offering 1 free taco burger with an order of nachos or taquotos, or a free hard shell taco with a taco meal or a free order of fries with an order of fries. We ordered the Carne asada nachos and got a taco burger for free. The nachos were decent, the burger was ok, kinda like a sloppy Joe. Overall the nachos the free burger with 2 drinks was still around 20 bucks somehow. Service was above and beyond. Food wise I can't say I'd be in a hurry to come back to eat here but it's worth a visit to try it out if you haven't. Place is small on the inside but their are high tables along the window also.

Got the Taquitos to go. Susu was super friendly and provided helpful recommendations Opted for the four taqutio pack with the elote Price may be a bit on the higher side ($20 in total), but it was delicious! I will be back

2 taquitos with side of rice & beans (2 PACK COMBO)
    Armando M.

We were the only ones there when we first entered the restaurant. I ordered the 2 pack combo. You're allowed to choose the type of tortilla (corn or flour) and different fillings for the taquitos so I chose corn tortillas and for the filling 1 shredded beef and 1 chicken. Both taquitos were tasty and really crunchy. The rice and beans were also delicious. The beans were my favorite between the 2 (rice/beans). They tasted like they were mashed charro beans). The person at the counter was really friendly and gave us a rundown of their menu and answered all of our questions. The restaurant has plenty of seating whether at a regular table or bar type table (near the windows). I will need to try their nachos the next time I visit.

I had the opportunity to try Roll Em Up Taquitos.... I didn't have the taquitos but went with the ground beef tacos which came with rice and beans... The tacos were good but a tad greasy... The over all taste and quality of the food was good... Service was fast and friendly... I will return because I did see some other menu items I would like to try... Definitely recommend giving them a try If you like good mexican fast food that has flavor...

To the ENTIRE staff that was working on 08/30/25 around 12:00pm, your service & hospitality was exceptional ! To the owner(s) of this establishment, this group of guys would be the main reason I would come back again. Thank you for the great service

First time going! Came on a Tuesday for Taco Tuesday special - we got the 10 tacos + fries box. You can choose beef or potato; or a mix of both. The green sauce is delish but has a kick to it! Bri was super sweet and welcoming. I also got the street corn on the cob with the hot Cheetos! They also have games at each table (Uno, Sorry, Connect 4) Definitely recommend!

Hi! I went with my husband yesterday and first customer service was amazing! They gave us a whole run around through the menu, we ended up getting the 4 taquitos (flautas) combo w the corn and rice, and the bomb nachos & the rating is Taquitos 9/10 Rice 6/10 Corn 10/10 Nachos 10/10 , overall everything good! The place has a good vibe! Is nice calm and peaceful there . The only thing I would say is, is a bit expensive.

Decided to stop by an hour before closing. I ordered the two taquito combo with chicken and everything on it. I also chose elote loaded up and a side of beans. First impression of the taquitos -- crunchy goodness with an explosion of flavor and moist chicken. Although I ordered it as takeout with all the toppings on it, they did get soggy by the time I was halfway through my first one. The staff was fantastic and gave me lots of options including requesting all toppings on the side ( what I should have done lol). Taquitos were great despite the sogginess, due to my negligence. The beans were average nothing stood out for me and same goes for the corn in a cup. I got the corn with hot Cheetos, cheese, tajin, etc. however the flavors did not explode together. Definitely missing some lime and a bit more tajin and mayo. Overall this place is a cute pit stop for the munchies. Food: 7/10 Service: 10/10

At brunch, the papas bravas come as small cubes of fried potato with an airy crunch that gives way to a soft, pillowy center - the kind of deeply satisfying bite that makes conversation briefly irrelevant. Crisp prosciutto adds salt, aioli brings richness, and smoky chile sauce keeps it lively. They're served with cactus-handled toothpicks, which are almost offensively adorable. The chilaquiles divorciados are another hit. The chips are dressed with salsa rather than drowned beneath it, so each one arrives ready for the perfect bite. It's a small distinction, but an important one. Then there are the enfrijoladas: rolled quesadillas in fluffy tortillas, covered in creamy black bean sauce and plated with more care than bean and cheese might seem to warrant. The dish is fundamentally simple, but that's the point. Soft tortilla, savory beans, melted cheese, bright salsa. Familiar ingredients transformed into something deeply comforting--the culinary equivalent of curling up beneath a warm blanket on a cold morning, even if Houston rarely provides one. Dinner shifts into another gear. The crudos are sensational, especially the tuna tiradito - a rolling wave of flavor and texture. The tacos are excellent across the board, but the crispy maitake mushrooms are unmatched. The short ribs arrive juicy and tender on a mole negro that doesn't sit politely in the background. It lands dark, complex, and full of flavor. And then there's the masa cornbread, a masterpiece of unapologetic indulgence. Humble cornbread meets savory-sweet mole, smoky, earthy butter, and caviar. It sounds like too much. It isn't. Every element earns its place. The cocktails deserve their own warning. They're the kind that convince you to keep ordering the same drink all night. By the end, you may have forgotten what was in it. What you'll remember is that it was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and exactly what you needed. The hostess seemed completely unconcerned about our experience and simply informed us that the wait for a table was approximately two hours. While deciding whether our party should wait or go elsewhere, I went to the bar to order a drink. After ordering, the bartender told me that if I was only having a drink, I needed to move. Apparently, sitting at the bar required ordering a meal. At that point, we had experienced enough. Between the unpleasant valet experience, the indifferent response at the hostess stand, the two-hour wait, and then being told I couldn't sit at the bar simply to have a drink while we decided what to do, the overall message was clear: we did not feel welcome here. My wife, the rest of our party, and I decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere. A busy restaurant is understandable. A long wait is understandable. What is much harder to understand is making prospective customers feel unwelcome at nearly every point of contact. Needless to say, this was an exceptionally disappointing experience, and we will not be returning.
