I'm pretty simple and went with the sweet cream and added almond pieces to help cut the sweetness, waffle pieces for texture and a little sprinkles on top to make it look cute. It was really good. The quality of the ice cream is great in comparison to other ice cream joints (however baskin Robbins is still up there). Now the thing that pushed this location up to 5 stars was the vanilla sugar cone. How many times have you gone to an ice cream joint and had a stale cone? This was FRESH! I can't believe what I've been missing for so long! All the ice cream is handpacked, and mostly from Kawartha Dairy or Central Smith. I'm pretty sure they have more than 31 flavours, including some exotic and fun varieties. It's available in cones, cups, shakes, and floats, with various sauces and toppings. There's something for everybody! I had a double scoop in a cup ($6.50) with Creamy Coconut and Grapenut (a favourite since childhood). The ratio of grapenuts to ice cream was just right and it tasted really good. One taste of the coconut and my brain was instantly transported to a tropical beach. Mmm! okay, maybe the smell of the coconut reminded me of tanning lotion, hence the beach thought. Or maybe it was just that good that it triggered my imagination. Try it for yourself!

We also had their regular fries, which were really good, very crispy. Of course, we had to try their desserts! The Oreo Hazelnut Crumble waffle was a great choice! This was a freshly made waffle, topped with handmade ice cream, crumbled Oreo cookies, and drizzled with chocolate sauce. This was a piece of Heaven! So delicious! It was also interesting to see how they made their ice cream. The ingredients were put on an ice cold surface, tossed, chopped, and scraped, before being rolled. Fascinating! Of course, this was just some of what we had.
