Definitely more expensive if you compare to Dairy Queen, but so many more options with their flavours. It was very busy when I went at 9pm on a Monday night with two staff working. Service was slow and each ice cream took about 5 minutes to make. If you're looking for some great ice cream check it out!

I do enjoy the concept of getting to choose my ice cream (7oz) and getting to mix the toppings in the ice cream. I'm pretty simple and went with the sweet cream and added almond pieces to help cut the sweetness, waffle pieces for texture and a little sprinkles on top to make it look cute. It was really good. The quality of the ice cream is great in comparison to other ice cream joints (however baskin Robbins is still up there). Now the thing that pushed this location up to 5 stars was the vanilla sugar cone. How many times have you gone to an ice cream joint and had a stale cone? This was FRESH! It had flavour and was very crunchy, you could instantly tell it was made that day. I'll be back! Keep Eating, Angela

Great location and customer service…read more Scones: Decent. A little sweet (which I like), served with whipped cream and strawberry jam. Fruit: The fruit was the best part of all our meals here. It was so fresh and sweet, which I thought would be difficult to find outside of California! I also enjoyed it with cottage cheese, which is not so common at breakfast spots in California unfortunately. Tea: The tea is enjoyable but pretty average when compared to bougier tea spots like The Bruce in Stratford. It's not clear how long I should let it steep for for optimal flavor. I preferred the Winter Dream green tea, which was warm and cozy, slightly sweet. I also preferred the McCrae over the Boathouse blend. The Boathouse blend was a little basic for me, and the McCrae had a slight sweetness that I enjoyed. High Tea: Average - a good price and pleasant experience, especially if the weather is nice enough to eat outside (and catch a bald eagle flying by!). My favorite dessert was the carrot cake cupcake. Ice Cream: Yes, ice cream and tea is definitely a good idea! The banana cream pie tastes like your classic Runts banana flavor (the original banana that got wiped out) and the black cherry has plenty of big cherry pieces. Great servings, and we loved that they served them in reusable bowls instead of disposable ones. Would definitely come again!

If you follow the route, it leads to another bigger parking lot. Parking is free! Reservations are highly recommended. My guest and I made a reservation for two for 1:30pm. It was very busy when we walked in. We got a table right by the door. There were artwork and paintings hung all around the cafe - it was cute. I ordered an afternoon tea set, as well as an extra breakfast burrito for my guest and I to share. There is a tea menu to look at all the various options they have. It was nice to see that they had many options to choose. Our set came with mini sandwiches, scones and dessert and fruits. I would definitely come back to visit - it would be nice to come in the summer and book a table out on their patio.

Known for their excellent arancini rice balls, they serve arborio rice balls that are stuffed with ground veal in tomato sauce, sweet peas and mozzarella cheese. They have quite a menu that focuses on pasta and hot sandwiches. I love all types of pasta from white Alfredo sauce pasta, to rosé tomato-cream sauce pasta, or Bolognese sauce pasta, or tomato-basil pasta. They also have coffee, cannoli and gelato. On any given day customers drop by for their chicken parm, eggplant parm, ceasar salad, Calabrese, veggie, ham and cheese grilled panini, meatball or chicken or veal sandwiches. Be sure to add hot or sweet peppers, provolone or mozzarella cheese, onions, eggplant and mushrooms to give your sandwich extra flavours. I added green peppers to my veal sandwich and a very important point to add much needed extra sauce! The second veal sandwich I ordered was very dry, almost tasteless and had practically no tomato sauce on it. Wasn't sure if it always comes this dry? I hope not but am glad I asked for extra sauce on the second sandwich. Much needed! Their gelato is worth tasting if you have a sweet tooth.

Delightful place…read more You order from the sidewalk 2 little windows through which you place your order and then pick up your cup/cone/waffle cone filled with soft serve vanilla topped with your choice from a rather long list of Belgian flavours You don't come here for the soft vanilla but for the Belgian chocolate dips And the couple who were behind the counter were extraordinarily sweet and helpful Methinks I will be coming back here very often over the spring and summer

Wait...an ice cream place, by the waterfront, made out of 100% real soft serve with ONE review?…read more Seriously??!! First, their soft serve isn't a chemical concoction. They literally only serve Vanilla, but they have an array of premium dips. See pic of menu. Second their chocolate dips consists of Belgian chocolate. Third, customer service is super friendly and patient. And lastly, prices are fair for what you get. (I was at another premium candy/ice cream shop the other weekend where a soft serve - presented in a melted fashion - was literally double the price!) Steps away from the Burlington Waterfront Trail, La Creme de la Creme is a must-stop for any ice cream lover! YUM! My only criticism is that I wished that their dips were posted somewhere as opposed to being on a menu that's passed around. I only saw the list when I got to the cash.
