MAPLE PECAN is phenomenal please never stop making it a great spot after JAYS game (3rd visit)
Great place in the area for ice cream! The waffle cone was probably the best part. They offer many different flavours and seems to rotate from time to time. The scoops are really big so 1 scoop is probably good enough for a person. They come scooped up in a nice big ball. I enjoyed the watermelon sorbet flavor. Service was good and fast. Nice touch was being asked which scoop I wanted on the top or bottom of the cone. The cream scoops come nicely shaped in a ball. The vegan sorbet didn't come as nicely but that's expected due to how it is.
After visiting Demetres a few times, I was delighted to find that they have one not too far from where I am. Located not too far from the CN tower, scooped by Demetres offers a range of super luxurious and delicious ice creams. We really struggled to choose our flavours and were kindly assisted by the staff who let us try whatever flavors we liked before we made our decision! I opted for a scoop of the Vancouver salted caramel and the raspberry ripple cheesecake served in a beautiful waffle cone. The ice cream was super flavorful and addictive, I couldn't stop taking more bites. And for the price, you get two HUGE scoops! Totally worth it! Will definite back here again
Located not too far from the CN Tower and right next to the bent way is the Demetre's ice cream serving, "Scooped". I've always heard about the infamous Demetre's flavours and therefore decided that I definitely have to try it on a random weekday afternoon. the interior is huge with a great view and tons of seating. staff are super friendly and helpful when it comes to picking from their extensive flavours and they managed to hear with me spending a good 20 minutes debating which flavour I actually wanted which gives them automatic validation. trust me it's not easy. I finally settled for two scoops (didn't quite make my mind up) of their lavish chocolate cherry and honey vanilla. the chocolate cherry one has real cherry pieces and chocolate pieces which really gives it a true taste of heaven whilst the honey vanilla is super soft and gelato like. and oh my God, they're incredibly delicious. the quality is amazing and served in a waffle cone which is really the icing on the top of the cake as it's so warm and tasty! not only does it look the part, like a traditionally beautiful ice cream cone but it tastes the part too! definitely coming here again.
Went in on a Sunday and the service was great! We got to try different flavours before choosing the one we wanted. The Earl grey one was very strong which I liked, but very sweet.. which my asian taste buds could not handle after finishing half the single scoop, with the cone it was diabetes in the making In the end we couldn't really finish them but the taste was very good. Still worth every penny.
The Ice Cream Flights are a great option, you get to try 5 different flavors, or get 5 scoops of your favorite! Demetres was/is one of my favorite dessert spots, so the fact they opened an ice cream shop downtown Toronto near Fort York was great to hear. There's 20 unique flavors to choose from so the flight is definitely a great option to try 1/4 of the menu :)
scooped by demetres is the best downtown ice cream shop- super unique flavors and good sized scoops.i haven't been disappointed since! in total, I've tried the cajeta goat cheese, the lavender, cinnamon roll and maple pecan. they were all really good and I have no complaints! they were creamy and pretty true to flavour - tasting unique but still delicious. the locations are all super downtown so it's a pain to get to if you don't live there, but the locations are so cute anyway and not that hard to access. definitely recommend if you're in downtown Toronto and craving ice cream!

Customer Service: The service was amazing, the place was clean. The ice cream was soooooo good. Walking in to the store we were greeted with big smiles and friendly servers. Food quality: We tried flavours we never tried before. We got a scoop of rose of paradise and a scoop of west coast sales caramel. Both were sooooo good. Especially the rose of paradise. I love anything with a floral hint. Best end to my bday night. The quality of the ice cream was much better than I expected. It's packed with flavour and doesn't taste artificial. Everything taste super fresh including the delicious waffle cone. Food presentation: the presentation off the bay was great. It was massive when they handed me the ice cream cone. I thought the waffle cone that came with the scoops was a great addition to not only the presentation, but the taste and experience as well. Wrapped with a napkin so your hands don't get Sri it either! Overall great experience at this location and can't Waite to come back in
Scooped serves only yummy ice cream. They are a subset of Demetres which serves all kinds of desserts, many of which can come with ice cream if you wish. This restaurant is located in a fairly modern "City Place" neighbourhood. Several restaurants around there look architecturally modern including 7Scoops. They have many flavours with some rotation. The 2 staff are very courteous and will describe the flavours. They can also give you samples to taste if you are unsure. I chose the Chocolate Cherry single scoop in a waffle cone. It is extremely spacious indoors which is probably reserved for indoor dining whenever that is offered. There is an extensive outdoor patio that faces east and has a nice view of the CN Tower and downtown core. When there are clear skies and the sun is at the correct angle, you can get pretty pictures of the exterior of the restaurant with its floor-to-ceiling windows. There is an ice cream cart that is used as decoration. There is free WiFi. It is wheelchair accessible. There is roadside parking along the north-south street beside it. I am thankful for the 5 flavour flight because it allowed me to try more flavors. Boy do i miss the pre-covid days when you could taste flavors before finalizing! In any case, the 5-flavor flight allowed me to try: 1. Lemon Curd Blueberry 2. Campfire S'mores 3. Strawberry Blush 4. Chamomile x Apricot 5. Dark Chocolate Cherry Out of this list, I am surprised to say my favorite was 1 and 5 and least favorite was 2 and 4. I wanted to get the Rose flavor but they were sadly out (probably b/c it was a hit!) When I say least favorite, I think it's all relative. 2 + 4 just didn't really uphold to the name of their flavors (in the case of 2) or wasn't flavorful enough (in the case of 4). I will definitely come again to check out other flavors- especially since this is located right next to a gorgeous park. Honestly, a perfect date spot (whether by yourself - b/c we should always take ourselves out for a cute date once in a while - or with someone else!) Can't wait to come back already and try other flavors!! P.S Did you know Demetres is known for their crepes + waffles first? Definitely getting a homemade waffle cone next time!! After wandering around the Distillery District, whipped by the winter winds, a tasty liege waffle was a wonderful treat. I definitely recommend trying the Ruby Chocolate waffle, sweet and slightly fruity.
Ice cream on a cold day. I've always loved Demetres and now they have a unique ice cream shop too! Scooped by Demetres have so many unique flavours and I always have a sweet tooth for ice cream . I got lavish chocolate cherry and my friends got the office cookie . If you want some vegan options, they also have some delicious sorbet options too like their mango passion fruit sorbetto . The staffs are also super nice and they also let you try out different flavours before buying your favorite ice cream. This Fort York location is super close to the lake and it is perfect to eat during a walk.
I wasn't sure what to order, so I asked the cashier for a recommendation. She suggested the Supercrema Hazelnut Chocolate, and I'm so glad I trusted her because it was amazing. As someone who loves Ferrero Rocher, this flavour was right up my alley. The Belgian chocolate was rich and creamy, and the hazelnut pralines added the perfect crunch. The service was fast, friendly, and made ordering easy. The storefront was also clean and well-kept, which always makes for a better experience. My only downside is the lack of parking at this location, which can be a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was great, and I'd definitely order this flavour again. read more
Stopped by Scooped for the Cookies & Cream Chaos, and it definitely hit the spot. The scoop was a perfect round shape and a great size, and the waffle cone was just as delicious as always. Before ordering, they let us sample a few flavours, and honestly, everything we tried tasted so good, which made it hard to choose. I ended up going with the Cookies & Cream Chaos, and it did not disappoint. The huge chunks of cookie throughout the ice cream made every bite even better, and the presentation looked great. Customer service was quick, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other flavours I sampled! read more

Conveniently located shop with plenty of seats, perfect for post world cup treats. Tons of flavours that you can sample, but I personally recommend the lemon curd blueberry, which is the perfect blend of tart and sweet. Scoops are huge, and waffle cone is great, too. read more

As an ice-cream lover I definitely won't miss this place! I tried 5 scoops and all of them r so delicious. I will talk about each of them and my thoughts: 1. Goat cheese: so special and I absolutely love it. I have tried goat cheese icecream from a very famous icecream chain salt and straw in Portland Oregon before, and I have not seen any store selling those here. Thank god they pull it off and make it soooo delicious. 2. Melon meets mint: I have to say, this is as refreshing as it can get. Melon and mint both are perfect for summer and both are not overpowering the other. I wouldn't suggest getting this with the rest of the milky flavors though, it might taste better with sorbet. 3. Maple pecan crunch: I wish there would be more crunch, but it is definitely hitting the flavor notes 4. Vancouver island salted caramel: it has so much caramel inside it is amazing. But it tastes like other salted caramel icecream. 5. S'mores: I don't like it but my friend does a lot because it has large chunks of marshmallow inside. To me it tastes a little plain, maybe I should eat it with waffle cone? Anyways, I love my experience and will definitely come back for more! This is a nice location to grab ice cream while walking along Fort York or chilling at a park near by. Unlike the famous Demetres, they sell sorbet and ice cream. They sell ice cream by scoops or pints. They have some interesting flavours - including melon meets mint, coconut lime sorbetto, campfire s'mores, house of earl grey, cajeta swirled goat cheese etc. I tried a scoop of the coconut lime sorbetto and had a unique taste to it. Scooped is comparable to other ice cream shops around town. read more

This place has the best icecream I have ever had. I had the twice baked apple pie and chocolate cherry. The chocolate cherry was only ok because it had dark chocolate chips all through it which I didn't care for. The apple pie however was so amazing I could have eaten a whole pint lol. The staff was very helpful and friendly so overall a great place to grab a sweet treat on a hot day. read more
Got the 5-flight ice cream platter as part of the Yelp Elite event and also purchased a waffle cone. In the platter, I got the melon mint, roasted white chocolate, cajeta swirled goat cheese, apricot x chamomile and lemon curd blueberry. For the waffle cone, I got office coffee. I was pleasantly surprised that each flavour tasted exactly as described. For example, Melon mint which was one of my favourites, tasted exactly like honey dew and fresh mint (not like artificial mint that is typically in mint chocolate chip ice cream or mint chocolate). And my second favourite, cajeta swirled goat cheese was creamy like goat cheese and also tasted like goat cheese with some sweetness from the cajeta. I will definitely come back to try their other flavours. I heard the rose strawberry flavour was a crowd favourite but it was sold out when I visited. read more

Scooped by Demetres recently launched! To give you a bit of a background, Scooped is Demetres ice cream only creation. They create 20 fun and innovative ice-cream and vegan sorbetto flavours like Malt Loves Banana and Office Coffee. I got a scoop of their Strawberry Blush & Cajeta Swirled Goat Cheese Strawberry Blush: 9.5/10 One lick and I could taste the tart and acidity that strawberries have making the experience authentic. I enjoyed every bite of this one and it didn't have an aftertaste Cajeta Swirled Goat Cheese: 9/10 This was the most interesting flavour! It's made with goat's milk. It's basically cheesecake in ice-cream form. It was rich and super filling compared to Strawberry Blush. Each flavour was well done and the ice-cream was up there in quality. I loved the interior as well. This spot would be a nice place to hang out when things get better. I highly recommend it. They have 2 locations. Love the location as it has a beautiful view of the CN tower and ample seating place to enjoy with family or friends. Bright and nice music playing in the background too. I got to sample few before finalizing my 2 flavors, everything was pretty good and I zeroed in on Chocolat and Pistachio Magnifique. The ice cream overall is very good quality and not overly sweet which I love. I liked both the flavor and will probably get again too. Try it with the waffle cone and you will not regret it, it has the nice crunch and mildly sweet. The service is pretty good and the servers are pretty friendly too. read more

The ice cream cones here are soooo good. I got the mango sorbetto and pistachio ice cream. The sorbetto is so nice and tangy; a delight in summer for sure. The pistachio is so rich and creamy. The cone looks great but it breaks easily. The customer service ia great. All the associates were very friendly in helping choose a flavour. read more

I usually get vegan flavours, but today I wanted classic ice cream. I had the Honey Vanilla and the Chocolate Cashmere in a waffle cone. Vanilla tastes like real vanilla and is sweet and creamy without being sickly sweet. Chocolate was smooth and velvety. The waffle cone is the best I've had from any ice cream shop. It stays crunchy right to the end. There's no soggy mess, even when the ice cream starts to melt. I messed up my order when I asked for a single scoop of vanilla and a single scoop of chocolate in a cone. They charged me for two separate cones. I should have said double scoop with vanilla and chocolate. Of course it got busy as soon as we realized the mistake. The servers worked it out and refunded the difference. Customer service is always great here. The shop looks brand-new. Lots of seating and it's kept clean and tidy. read more
We love crepes and desserts at Demetres, and recently, Scooped by Demetres just opened its craft artisanal ice creams store in City Place and Distillery District! There are 20 flavours to choose from, and I know it can be hard to choose this rich and creamy ice cream, but don't worry guys, they offer "5 scoops flight" We got the Lemon Curd Blueberry, Mango Passionfruit Sorbetto, Dark Chocolate Cherry, and Maple Pecan Crunch. Pair it with their light, crispy housemade waffle cone. These flavours are so good, and I'd say the mango passionfruit is the winner! So refreshing, perfect for summer weather. Also this City Place has a nice patio. Enjoying ice cream with this view, what can you ask for more? read more

Get. The. Waffle. Cone. Fresh, crispy, thin... Damn the best part of the entire dessert. Got the lemon blueberry which was pretty good! The campfire s'mores wasn't that great. I wouldn't recommend, it tastes more like marshmallow? I would definitely want to try the mango passion fruit.... Next time! Fast service and generous portions. Paid $13 for 2 scoops in a waffle. Worth it but next time I'll be choosing sorbet! read more

Today was just a perfect day to grab some ice cream with my kids after school. My kids screamed when they saw how big the waffle cone was. We ordered lavender blueberry mist and mango passion fruit and we loved both flavors. They're super refreshing and the sweetest was just perfect. I have to mention that they may have the BEST waffle cone in town. Definitely different from the ordinary thick waffle cone. Their waffle cone was thin and crispy but enough to hold 2 big scoops. The presentation was definitely 10 out of 10. The server was kind and quick to serve us. Lots of space in store for us to sit and relax as well. I highly recommend it. read more

I love unique and quirky ice cream spots, and Scooped is one of my go-to places to get a cool cone of ice cream! The selection of flavours is very vast and includes many delicious artisan flavours. I got the Blood Orange Creamsicle and Cherry Blossom ice cream, a perfect blend of fruity and sweet flavours. However, do be aware that some top-seller flavours may be sold out. When I visited, about a quarter of the menu was sold out. Luckily, the staff are friendly, efficient and good at giving advice regarding alternative flavours to those sold out. Samples are offered, too! Overall, a cozy spot to get your ice cream fix, with plenty of seating. I just hope that the entire selection of flavours can be offered next time. read more

Scooped was a bit off the typical busy paths of downtown Toronto and in a weird location near Fort York almost which was easy to miss but we were craving for something cold especially during the hot summer time and have been seeing this place all over the internet. I've been to demetres and have had their desserts before so I knew what to expect coming in and expected them to more or less use the same stuff. It would've been neat though if this was a boutique and experiment for the brand to try to create more elevated ice cream! Everything was good and exactly what you want to get from the flavour you want. read more
