This bagel lived up to the hype! The bagel was so chewy and the egg was cooked so well. The service is also incredible fast - from ordering to bagel was less than 5 minutes. The only note is the bagel and ingredients are rather plain - not salted at all unless you ask for it. It tasted really clean, but my bagel definitely could have used some salt or extra flavor. Last weekend, I saw they launched a special collab with Hay Hay Roasted for this limited-time "Char Seoul Bagel." As a Hong Kong girl who loves bagels and char siu, this was literally a dream come true. I traveled all the way from JC to LIC and I was SO OBSESSED with it!!! It was basically a Hong Kong and Korean-inspired BEC. My taste buds sang at the first bite. It was layered with a fair amount of sweet and savory char siu, kimchi, pepper jack, egg, and a drizzle of chili oil. I went with their recommended plain bagel so the flavors could really shine. The cart isn't always here every morning when I get to work so I usually don't bother looking for it. My usual spot closed so I decided to give rollin a try. There was a line so it took a little while but it wasn't horrible. The guy taking orders was nice and personable. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a roll. I think they got good tasting sausage and cheese but not the roll. I wish they had asked if I wanted it toasted or not. Half way through I realized some of my roll was burnt and I had to rip it off it didn't taste good. It came out to $9.03 before tip. That's pricey for the area. The cart looks well kept. read more

Service is very quick. Owner/staff are friendly and attentive. Menu is surprisingly extensive for a food cart/truck. Bagels are fresh, flavorable and big. The bacon, egg and cheese is delicious. I always saw the truck parked outside TJ near Court Square on weekends, and finally tried the bagels and it didn't disappoint. I got the Everything Bagel with Eggs, Sausage, and Cheese with a Hashbrown, which came out to around 8.50 - pretty solid IMO. The owner was also extremely friendly, and took time speaking to the customers while still running a tight ship. The bagel was really good (you have the option of adding salt and pepper) and I would definitely get again., though the hashbrown lowkey looked like it came from TJ lol. I was always intrigued by this bagel truck because there's always a line by the Court Square subway station. The first time I tried it was last November when they gave out a free bagel order to whoever took a picture during the NYC marathon. The owner was so nice when I redeemed the offer, and continued to offer kind service each time I've visited. The bagels are made fresh each day, and even though I was skeptical of the bagels being in the truck all day, they tasted great. This is the spot if you want to find a decent bagel spot in LIC! Surprisingly hard to find a decent bagel on a weekend morning when you're in this area. But fear not, Rollin bagel has the goods. During the week, they are in front of Skyline tower in the court square area and on weekends, they're in front of the hunters point library by the water. On weekends, there's usually a line and they'll start to run out of bagels. This past Sunday, we were there around 11-11:30am and they ran out of a few types of bagels. They're really fast with pushing food out, I was honestly impressed. I like how the bagel sandwich is still warm by the time we ate it. The bagel itself is perfect for my taste. It's not overly doughy, right amount of crisp, it paired so well with bacon egg and cheese. They had turkey bacon which makes me like this place so much more. My commute takes me nowhere near this truck, so it's taken years to get the right timing to finally try their bagels. WOW! I think this bagel is what pop-up bagels tries to be. Rollin is a nice mix of crusty, chewy, fluffy, and excels in each area. I had an everything with strawberry cc, one of the best versions of that in the city. As popular as the truck got while I was waiting, the two guys inside kept it moving. No wonder they sell out so fast. For the location, it's right at the entrance of the G train. It was baked well and I could tell it was fresh. My only complaint would be the non-pork protein options. The choice was between sliced turkey and turkey bacon. I opted for the turkey bacon and it was pretty salty which threw off the flavor of the whole sandwich. Adding turkey or impossible sausage to the menu might be a good idea. Such a great bagel cart, the owner is really cool and a young entrepreneur who started his own business. They recently moved to LIC and have been stirring a commotion in the local FB groups so I had to check it out and it did not disappoint. There was a bit of a line since they have gained in popularity. I believe they are at court square during the week and by the waterfront on the weekends.
