Reasonable prices compare to other spots.

Rick helped us and they have a lot of options for having a small tasting room. I bought 3 different bottles and I'm surprised why other distilleries have more reviews and sell crappy ass alcohol. This place is a must for you to get you feet wet on different spirits .

Delicious spirits with a great taste. I am not a huge fan of vodka but Rolling Rivers has definitely changed my mind. I found them through Groupon on a weekend trip to Portland and am SO glad I did. Staff is beyond kind & helpful and they make delicious mixed drinks using their vodka. My favorite was the Corpse Reviver. Has taste of orange and aquavite. Definitely a must!

Not my favorite environment on distillery row. It's tight quarters if there are more than a few customers and service was just so-so.

To be honest I never even heard of Aquavit before coming here but it was cool to learn about it.

Amaya took care of us immediately as we got settled, bringing water and menus. The flights looked so pretty, so I chose the Spring Flight. Of these(see photos for names & descriptions) I enjoyed The Valley Girl most because I have a sweet tooth and both the black currant purée & elderflower worked perfectly together. Food was definitely in order for this flight, so I selected the Figalicious panini which featured prosciutto w/balsamic fig jam and goat cheese. It was the PERFECT sandwich for my flight! Hubs stuck with N/A beverages and enjoyed his Tropink hemp beverage and soda. My original plan was to enjoy the flight then select the full size cocktail of the drink I enjoyed the most (i.e. Valley Girl), but I wasn't able to follow through. The "flights" were such generous pours the panini wasn't absorbing the alcohol fast enough. LOL At $25 for the flight, I think this is VERY reasonable way to experience Freeland. The vibe here is casual chic. The furnishings are modern, comfy and BEAUTIFUL! From the front you can see through these MASSIVE windows into the working distillery, with its gleaming tanks. The displays are arranged in a way to allow the spirits to be showcased, but the bottles are so pretty it doesn't feel overwhelming or intimidating. Really well designed for a comfortable meeting place to drink, nibble and kiki, but if you want to impress OOT guests, Freeland Spirits would work for that as well. Before leaving, Amaya let us in on a tip for our trip out of PDX: Freeland Spirits and mixers are available for the same price at the airport! I'll DEF be making room in my carry-on for the Freeland Forrest Gin and Valley Girl mixer. Cheers! "CC"

We were not disappointed. I thought maybe we were going to just grabbed my cans and go but no.... The fresh cocktails made with their distillery liquors were gorgeous. Absolutely perfect. My man got a Gold Rush and I got a some delicious concoction of which I can't recall, uncle got a Root beer Float made with their house made vanilla cream. Oh my gah... so good. Auntie got a vodka martini which she adored, partially for the 3 olives and not getting any flack about wanting a vodka martini. Christine our bartender was brilliant. She suggested some of the house made Vanilla Crème and Cinnamon Rum. I've not tasted any liquors so amazing in ages. It made me want to completely forget about any canned cocktails and take bottled spirits home. We also tried the house made Fresh Hop Whiskey. I'm dead. Literally it was so good. I'm not even a hoppy kind of girl but this stuff was gold. If you're going to indulge in spirits this is the place to, and stock up for home cocktails. So delicious and service is stellar.

I tasted The Unipiper batch from bottle 111, a Straight Rye Whiskey that had been aged 7 years. I really appreciated the time and energy the sales folks put into explaining the complexities and flavor profiles of this batch, and also throwing one heck of a launch party as well. Now that Bull Run is on my radar, I'll be paying close attention to their line of products and launches in the future.

Just phenomenal. Thank you so much Landon, Cam and the entire Bull Run team!

A real gem on my burgeoning distillery tour of Portland!…read more Burgeoning because it turns out as much as other think I drink a lot (it's not a faze mom!!!) it turns out that I can only really ripple at one distillery a day. Anyway, I love that this tasting room is an easy walk from my place. Plus it's near all the food and other things I like when I take to the fire water and get to walking! I came during a private event and almost thought I wouldn't be able to taste. However they have a back bar area that has tables set up, so I was able to get my sip on. There are bunches and bunches to sip from the Hue Hue coffee rum (dangerous because you can sip this stuff straight, the coffee flavor is that good) to even an eggnog flavored tipple, you will find something interesting to taste! The tasting experience was informative and fun! It wasn't pretentious, and it truly was laid back. You can decide how much you wanted to interact. So if you just wanna sip and be left to your thoughts you're given the option. I bought a couple bottles and I will definitely be back for more. Their wide selection makes the place look cluttered, somewhat messy. You're somewhat over-stimulated by all the eye candy and making a selection gets confusing. Whatever, if that model works then more power to them. I will definitely return.
