SO GLAD we found this great distillery with a welcoming staff, happy to explain their gin and bourbon selections and hand crafted cocktails and mocktails. Amaya took care of us immediately as we got settled, bringing water and menus. The flights looked so pretty, so I chose the Spring Flight. Of these(see photos for names & descriptions) I enjoyed The Valley Girl most because I have a sweet tooth and both the black currant purée & elderflower worked perfectly together. Food was definitely in order for this flight, so I selected the Figalicious panini which featured prosciutto w/balsamic fig jam and goat cheese. It was the PERFECT sandwich for my flight! Hubs stuck with N/A beverages and enjoyed his Tropink hemp beverage and soda. My original plan was to enjoy the flight then select the full size cocktail of the drink I enjoyed the most (i.e. Valley Girl), but I wasn't able to follow through. The "flights" were such generous pours the panini wasn't absorbing the alcohol fast enough. LOL At $25 for the flight, I think this is VERY reasonable way to experience Freeland. The vibe here is casual chic. The furnishings are modern, comfy and BEAUTIFUL! From the front you can see through these MASSIVE windows into the working distillery, with its gleaming tanks. The displays are arranged in a way to allow the spirits to be showcased, but the bottles are so pretty it doesn't feel overwhelming or intimidating. Really well designed for a comfortable meeting place to drink, nibble and kiki, but if you want to impress OOT guests, Freeland Spirits would work for that as well. Before leaving, Amaya let us in on a tip for our trip out of PDX: Freeland Spirits and mixers are available for the same price at the airport! I'll DEF be making room in my carry-on for the Freeland Forrest Gin and Valley Girl mixer. Cheers! "CC"

Such a cute spot with delectable drinks and charming atmosphere. Our bartender, Skyla, was so helpful and made some magical drinks. The drinks we had tonight: VALLEY GIRL (Freeland Forest Gin, block currant purée, lime juice, sage + elderflower syrup, NW alpine) ARTEMIS MOON (Freeland Forest Gin, Trakal, New Deal ginger liqueur, mint simple syrup, lemon juice, muddled grapes, hibiscus bitters, decanter billers) MOON BRIDGE MAGIC (Freeland Cherry Blossom Liqueur, Freeland Forest Gin, Amarello, lemon juice, cherry + orange flower simple syrup, egg while) Highly recommend them all, especially the Artemis Moon.

Local Spirits, inspired by the MeMas of America:) This woman founded distillery is on the northwest side of town and has a lovely tasting room. Excited to stop by for happy hour next time! Friendly service with a smile! They also have some light snacks for purchase while you sip:)

Actually I was trying to review the location at the PDX airport as well! Great gin at Freeland and always a wonderful experience when we go to the Vaughn location! But excited to see the location at the airport! Great to be able to buy a bottle to give as a gift or to share at your final destination! Go Freeland Spirits!

Hidden a few blocks away from the bustle of NW 23rd Ave, Freeland Spirits seems like a chill place to grab a couple cocktails from their extensive and seasonally changing cocktail menu or to do a tasting of their house gins and bourbons. I'm not much of a whiskey drinker but Freeland makes my favorite local gins. Definitely worth a stop when in the area!

This was my 3rvisit to Freelands and apparently I've enjoyed it as I've returned Each time I've visited I've sat at the bar, which allows me to chat with the employees. Great staff, great drinks, why not. This visit they honored women's history by theming the cocktails, which was a nice touch. If you're in the area and looking for a spot with tasty cocktails, definitely drop in.

Absolutely loved this place! Visited on a quiet Wednesday afternoon and the service was awesome! The drinks were great and the small bites were fantastic. For being a lover of gin, this place was absolutely perfect to kill some time. Myself and my friend each got the flight along with a few cocktails to share which were all delicious! I loved the vibe of the place. You could actually see into where they make the gin which I thought was pretty neat! Loved it and would absolutely return!

It's the simple things that make it a nice touch. One of the first things that I noticed was the planters inside the windows at this lovely establishment. They also had a wall of succulents that I thought were particularly stylish. But alas, I digress, let's get to the heart of the matter this women-owned and operated establishment in NW Portland. They make a couple of varietals of gin and bourbon here. I cannot speak to the bourbon but the gin was great. I love that you can select from the mini cocktails or tastings and build your own flight. We each had a flight on this day accompanied by seasoned popcorn. What a delightful idea. The atmosphere is what I would expect from NW Portland, a hip and trendy vibe. I really enjoyed our time there. At about 3 PM a lot of people started filtering in. As it turns out on Fridays and Sundays there is a tour of up to 20 people of the distillery. You can make reservations or take your chances but they recommended the reservations which I believe you can make online. We picked up a bottle to go. Also, we picked up some canned cocktails that they make there. It was packaged nicely in a box which was perfect. The attention to detail here is just great. I really am not a hard liquor drinker but the great experience made me want to come back again. Give these folks a try.

What a gorgeous spot!!! Sadly I didn't get interior photos, but it's stunning. Clearly woman owned, designed and decorated. I have a very particular palate for cocktails and while a lot of their liquor doesn't appeal to me, I do love the flights they offered. They were all mostly delicious and adventurous as to flavors I would not have believed would be together in a drink! Not to mention SO cute. I would come back just for another seasonal flight and some appetizers as they're all Vegan and I believe most GF. Yummy stuff, especially the rosemary popcorn. Holy amazing. I'll have to get WAY more photos on a second visit!

As a woman who likes spirits, I'm more than happy to support a woman-owned spirit business! I stopped by Freeland this morning to get my limited release bottle of Cherry Blossom Liqueur, and a couple of cocktails for good measure. Freeland has great indoor and outdoor spaces and such a peaceful ambience. All of the specialty cocktails are amazing. Stop by and do your part to support local women in the whiskey business!

What's up: We're continuing our tour of Portland based on the Distillery Row Passport we were finally able to get. We decided to hit this place as our next stop since it's not too far from a couple others in the area. Parking: They have a decent sized parking lot nearby which seemed close to full when we were there. There's also street parking available. Environment: According to the Passport, this place is woman owned, cool! The sign at the counter said to wait to be seated. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. The merch corner is on the right and pass the doors, down the hall, are the restrooms. The dining area is located towards the left. Once seated, we were given menus to look over. What was ordered: - Freeland Flight (4 tastings) - Old Fashioned Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Overall, the experience was nice. It felt more like a restaurant setting than a distillery since they had sit down tables. Personally, we're not fond of gin, but it was nice to try the different kinds. And...we got another stamp on our passport. Credit cards are accepted.

Went for the paninis but will definitely be back for drinks. There are plenty of tables to sit and there is table service. The woman who helped us was very sweet. We got three paninis to split and devoured each one.

Wonderful cocktails using their in-house distillery; yes they distill on site as well as use various proprietary ingredients to flavor some of their spirits. Service was also good and it's a very comfortable venue. But their spirits are what's fantastic ...bought a bottle of their gin to take home. Will visit again..and often

The interior is attractive and very modern, and there is a large covered and heated patio if you prefer to sit outside (we did). The service was a little bit slow, but not egregious and the server was very friendly. The menu is not extensive, but it has good variety and everything on it looked excellent. All of their ingredients seem high-quality, and they have a number of gluten-free and vegetarian offerings. I ended up getting the eggs benedict, which came with a little salad. The salad was fresh, not wilted, and came with a light vinaigrette. The eggs benedict was absolutely stellar-- perfectly poached eggs, creamy hollandaise, and grilled halloumi to give some well-received brine to the bite, all atop an english muffin. For the price point and the quality, the portions are good. My one wish was that I could have subbed my salad for some of their potatoes! My partner got the pork belly hash, and thought that the potatoes were cooked perfectly-- crispy and well-seasoned. He did notice that there were only a few pieces of pork in the dish, but we chalked this up to the ingredient quality. We ended up staying for Happy Hour, which was fun! We got the fries with garlic aioli (so good!) and I ordered their daily cocktail special, a margarita. They gave me a good, heavy, pour, which is always appreciated. Great brunch spot if you want to go somewhere a little chic.

Occasionally, there has been a near miss with too much salt on the Brussels sprouts or other minor infraction like that. All in all, it has displaced Serrato as my "go to" to meet up with friends. I've only eaten outside, so I have no idea what the inside experience is like. Outside, it's a sheltered patio with heaters if needed and a few small tables against the building as well. Bonus for this area in general is that it's a great place to walk around and window shop, and it's relatively close to the Japanese and Rose Gardens (by car).
