A build our son is currently working on.

My boy has been going here a month. He seems to love it. I'm deducting a star just because it's not as organized as I'd like it to be but from a kids perspective I'd recommend it.

    Ms. Zooey and Ms Amy

We celebrated my son's 5th bday at their Glendale location this past weekend. Lindsay was great and helped coordinate our event. The instructors Amy and Zooey were amazing and so great with our group of 20 kiddos. It was a blast and our little guy had an amazing time. Thank you again to everyone at Rolling Robot's. Looking forward to sending our little guys to summer camp next year.

Cool, as cool can get for kids to get a hands-on look at robots! I just had my son's birthday party here, and if there is one advice, I'd suggest, it's that this place is definitely more catered to kids at least 7yrs or older. *Despite what the age group says for our Dinobot assembly From the getgo, the customer service was on point: 150% on a score of 1-100! I was really impressed! I found the site when I was searching the web for original and different birthday party venues. For my son, he loves anything that entails assembling, and gadgets lately. I made my reservation for my party date online with a ten children-minimum at one price, and $25 for each additional child/robot kit. The order form requires $100 deposit and allows you to order a sheet cake ($50 OR SO) They just supply a few birthday banners, nothing to rave about, and table cloths, I brought everything else I'd need. Anytime I needed to have a question answered, they immediately replied to any of my email inquiries within 24 hrs. Alex was especially polite and helpful. I was able to decorate a small narrow space in the back of the store with a party banner, balloons, small icechest, and food and cake. Once arriving the day of the party, I was assisted with carts at my car to help carry everything for th party. I'm sorry I can't recall his name who had helped me, he had glasses, and a goatee, and he was the one who took my parking ticket to have validated at a different location. *Validating is only for the event hosts. Even though I was 20 minutes late, they assured me it was ok to go a bit over the scheduled event times, as there wouldn't be another event after mine. I was so relieved!!! There was just enough room for about 12-20 kids to be seated comfortably. Adults would have standing room. While I was advised parents did not need to stay, I'm so grateful that all my parents were present because most of my younger guests needed all the help they could get. We had about 4 Rolling Robot technicians/staff helping our group of ten children. Overalll, the kids really enjoyed assembling their Dinobots and they are battery-operated motors. Even a week later, ours has stayed in tact *with the help of some double-stick tape too. I created his birthday invitation using metallic miniature party bags and turning them into robots, and placing inside the invitations that Rolling Robots provides on their website. The maps are even enclosed on the invitation. I had to include a map of the store location, though, and valet/self-parking information (even a list of all the venues at Americana at Brand that DO validate as a courtesy) Rolling Robots is located at Americana at Brand, ON Colorado (opposite end of the water fountain) There's a Pinkberry and Jamba Juice *or maybe Juice it Up?.. next to them. If RR is on your left side, then self-parking is immediately available just past them. We were not able to park Valet due to a Farmer's Market going on that Saturday. All my guests received a 50% off coupon too, I believe. While we did not get to battle our robots, there is a small arena displayed and for $3, visitors can also battle the robots already assembled in this arena. I did not have time to do any shopping myself, but I definitely plan on returning and checking things out again when I can! Thank you, Rolling Robots for a memorable birthday for my son!!

When my son upgraded to VERSION 8.0 this was the most LOGICAL place to celebrate. The children BOLTED over to the Battle Arena and went NUTS over the robot battle. They had a BLAST assembling their robots. Each kid gets to take home their own personally assembled robot, making Goodie bags OBSOLETE. After building the robots everyone was GEARED up to eat. This was the easiest birthday party ever; I even had time to make a homemade robot cake. No need to stress about cooking, decorations, cleanup, etc. What's not to love about this place? Bleep..... Boop....Bop.....Bleep End Transmission

There was so much to do, from walking through the river and doing water play, to sand play in the pretend lake, to crafts (that we didn't have time for), to climbing equipment, and building/engineering/physics activities. Plenty of things to do both indoor and outdoor. The physics section is great for older kids too, even middle school (but the rest of the museum is definitely geared to elementary).

The museum is both indoors and outdoors. There's several activities that are geared towards older kids such as sitting on seat and self-pull to go up. Or a tug a war type thing. The other outdoor activities are for all ages, they have areas where you can bang on stuff to hear the sounds. There's an indoor which I feel the younger ones loves such as the train table or the parachute. Overall there's activities for all ages. There was even a spot if someone wants to read and do storytime. Fun overall. It can get pricey. I'm not big on places charging adults as it truly is more for the kids.

It is $35 for 2 hours on the weekend, and unlimited time on the weekdays. Since they host birthday parties, check their yelp or call to see if they are open on the weekends. One thing I like is about Wonderland is that I can bring my coffee or outside food/drinks while I watch my son play. Socks are worn in the play areas at all times. One piece of advice for adults, bring your exercise clothes because you will be warm going through the play areas with your young ones. If your child needs a space to expend energy, I would recommend bringing him/her here!

The mascot came by to take photos with our birthday girl and our family, and we received a beautiful acrylic photo keepsake with both pictures. We never liked the "entrance fee" that I obviously know about and I stand by what I said: ADULTS ARE FORCED TO ORDER THEIR SUBPAR OVERPRICED FOOD FOR ENTRY aside from the entrance fee for their kids. The SGV eats post - I wasn't talking about one post. Geraldyne has posted several times and most of those times people have chimed in with their experiences and she removed her entire posts so people won't find the comments. Once again, trust the low star ratings. If you read them, you'll see a lot of them echo what I've posted here. --- If you have a toddler or a young kid, avoid this place. Read the lower rated reviews, because those paint a more accurate picture than glowing reviews from people who got discounts to this place. Adults are forced to order a meal as an entrance fee, and all the choices are subpar and overpriced. There was only one lovely staff member, an African American woman that unfortunately seemed to have left, because everyone else were not friendly nor helpful, and are barely present. The husband who supposedly cooks the meal made the driest, toughest, inedible steak salad and I couldn't even get help with my meal because there was no staff around to help, and whenever the husband came out, he would just be zipping in and out so fast I couldn't even catch him, and I couldn't leave my daughter by herself. The food choices for kids are also subpar. The play area itself is also subpar. There's very little options to play with, and whatever is there are mostly broken toys or have missing parts. The "separate" area for younger kids are always a huge mess to the point where it's safer for a 1-2 yr old to be in the general area with how disorganized it is. It's nothing but an afterthought, and bigger kids go there to mess up that area all the time No one really goes to clean up or check the play areas periodically, so even though it's part of their "rules", you see kids throwing toys at other kids, kids leaving messes around, etc. The positive reviews about these place are probably from people who've only been there once and have had some sort of discount. As a previous repeat customer who tried to give this place multiple chances, it is nothing but a cash-grab by greedy owners who care nothing about kids. The owner, Geraldine, also loves to promote her business on Facebook groups, and even whine about lack of "support" from people, but when previous customers try to make suggestions or anything remotely resembling a valid criticism, she'll remove the post so no one sees it. It's very dishonest, and shows what kind of people run this business. There are better places to go to entertain kids in SGV, don't waste your time and money here.
