Party Plot and Adam are simply fantastic! They joined us at a park today for a fifth grade Field Day to celebrate an upcoming graduation and the whole experience could not have been more seamless. Adam was extremely communicative, set up quickly and efficiently, and ran the games with professionalism and ease. Most importantly, the kids had an absolute blast. Thank you for making this such a memorable day for our children!

If we secure a permit with the city for a park setup, would you guys do a park setup?

Sure no problem, if the entity provides all their info, we can provide a certificate of additional insured.

What age do you recommend this set up for? Would a 6 year old be too young to use the laser gun?

I would recommend it for ages 8 and up, smaller children will get tired of holding the equipment.

Hi, i plan to host a birthday party for my 8 year old boy in my backyard. Can you let me know what you guys would do?

I would setup a battlefield with my inflatable bunkers, divide your guests into 2 teams, and let'em have a blast for 2hours. My base package is for 10players (or more if cycled), 2hours of game play & referee.… Read more

This felt like a classic bowling alley- no gimmicks and no silliness. This place features a bar & grill, two pool tables, a fair amount of bowling lanes, and a small arcade. The dining area seating is plenty and the touchscreen displays at the lanes make setting up your games very easy. This place was clean, professional and didn't feel "corporate" if that makes sense. It definitely took me back to when I was a kid, bowling in a league with my uncles, very nostalgic. Our host gave us a quick rundown and rules which was great for anyone who had never been bowling before. Our party was pretty big (I think 30-40 people) but the staff was great in keeping up with our hungry carpenters. The food was good, I definitely rate it better than all bowling alley food I've ever had- but not quite "sit-down-restaurant" quality. That's OK, we were there to bowl and have fun. Everyone had a fantastic time. I highly recommend for group events, parties, dates or family fun. I leave one star off for parking- there is very limited parking and maybe I missed something but it seemed like the closest option was meter parking or up the block, most of our guys parked a block away in a public lot.

A…read morelot has changed since then , including the flooring, and though it's more esthetically pleasing, the experience just isn't the same. I used to bowl on a league so the way the ball grips matters to me, and the new floors just don't do it the same. I understand that it doesn't matter for most people, and that's also fine, but I prefer the original flooring. All in all it's still a really good time. The bowling balls haven't been changed since I worked there so that definitely needs to happen. These are chipped and beat up. You can actually hear the bumping sound of some of them as they go down the lane. Our company had a group outing there and the one important thing to know is that they charge an 18% service fee, which is NOT gratuity. So you would need to add gratuity on top of that, which puts you at around 33-38% on top of your total package amount. Nobody was able to tell us what the service fee was paying for.

It's humongous, has reasonable structured parking right next to it with tons of spaces, and the win rate was very generous. It's attached to an inside mall that I didn't put a foot in, but I imagine it's a nicer mall based on the surroundings I passed. They seem to have a very large space inside, and a healthy volume of people roaming through all the aisles and arcade games. The people at the counters were also numerous and attentive. Yeah some machines were very weak and some had cheese wheels, but I think a majority were reasonably fair. I'm from NorCal and Burbank is by far my favorite Round1 at the moment. I liked this location so much that I had to visit it twice during my trip. I'm not too sure what to do with all the jumbo prizes I won! I will say though, this location has the laziest workers I've ever seen. We asked people to help us several times, and the usual response was "I'll get someone else" or being told to wait for nothing. You have to be extremely proactive and annoying about requesting for help. They're one of the first receivers of the gashapon and they're cute little keychain trinkets or figures, but ultimately I wasn't really interested in any of the random anime IPs.

You can create your own custom Funko figure -- for yourself or even you and your partner. Such a cute keepsake. It's fun, it's free, and there are usually clearance items on sale, so you might score a deal too. The displays are awesome for photos, so you can walk around, explore, snap pictures, and just enjoy the whole experience. Definitely a fun little adventure spot.

I honestly feel sorry for this place. The inside is Disney/Universal-level themed -- huge immersive…read morerooms, perfect lighting, endless photo ops -- but it's almost always empty. You'll see the occasional line of collectors camping for a new POP drop they can flip, but outside of that? Crickets. And with Funko basically going bankrupt, it makes even less sense how this giant space is still operating. There are so many employees walking around with not much to do because there just aren't any customers. It's almost awkward -- you feel like you're intruding on their break. They've even been running "End of Year Sales" with 50% off tons of merch, which tells you exactly how things are going. The funny part is the POPs are the least interesting thing here. The clothing, bags, pins, and vinyl section of rare Mondo albums (which I've bought from) are way better than the figures. They even have Loungefly bags. But you'd never know, because they only advertise the same goofy POPs. If you're a tourist, definitely stop in. The place is a photo-op playground and genuinely one of the most impressive setups on Hollywood Blvd. I once heard a rumor there's a bar inside the TARDIS, but that would require this place making money, so... yeah. Don't sleep on it though -- it's lasted this long, but with the crowds this thin, who knows how much longer it'll be around.

Considering that Uber drops you off at the entrance, the cost of the train/Uber is the same as driving (gas) and valet parking. Big win to start and allowed for resting on the way home. Bought our tickets through AAA, so a nice little savings there. Getting through security and into the park was fine. Due to the change in weather, we got a small locker which came in handy for our jacket/sweatshirt and a few personal items. $10 and you can access it as many times as you want all day. We sampled as much of the park as we could in a day. Kung Fu Panda Adventure, Harry Potter World (had a Butterbeer, rode Flight of the Hippogriff and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey), Jurassic World - The Ride (my favorite), Revenge of the Mummy - The Ride, Transformers: The Ride-3D (Jen's favorite) and finished with Despicable Me Minion Mayhem. All lines moved well (HP & the FJ did have a slight mechanical delay) and the longest wait was just over 30 minutes. As for the rides, if you have motion sickness like I do, be warned that most are "simulation" rides and it will take some effort to keep your head and stomach right. We grabbed a few souvenirs on the way out and called it a successful visit. This park is meant to be experienced in more than one day, so if you want to try every single adventure, plan on two or more days. The park does offer a second day free ticket, so the additional cost is either transportation or a local hotel room. The annual pass (starting at $179) is another great idea, so you wouldn't have to do a back to back days. I personally don't plan on coming back, but only because the rides aren't the kind I enjoy and not indicative on the park itself.
