A few friends met to catch up on a Sunday at 11. I was surprised by how many people were there. Unfortunately it was too chilly to sit outside. We were lucky to get one of the tables inside. Because there were so many people talking and the place is small, it was somewhat difficult to talk. I had the plain breakfast burrito which is the best value on the menu. It is just egg and cheese on a flour tortilla. I found the service to be good. The coffee and tea are Peet's which I like. I would like to come back and sit outside when the weather is warmer. Have been here twice, once with friends and recently with my siblings. I have tried their hot and iced coffee. Most recently, the iced vanilla latte was a little too strong. Their bagel is really good. There is street parking in the area. The cashier was friendly and there was ample indoor and outdoor seating. Spinach & mushroom omelette ($14.90) + ham (+$4.50) - 4 stars. this hit the spot, cheese is mozarella I think, so stringy and not heavy. pricey though. they served Peets coffee here and I asked if they can make a flat white and she said yes. flat white w/ soy + added shot of espresso ($7)- this was not a flat white or even a latte. it was just coffee with a splash of soy. zero foam. the quality did not match the price, the product did not match what I asked for. customer service: dismissive. there is no reason you cannot give a customer the total on the phone and simply let it be a surprise with how much it will be when the food is made already. also to talk over the customer and say yea yea i got it and end up giving a product that doesn't match what you promised you can do is not the right way. read more

Yelp brought me to this busy Point Richmond coffee shop. In town for business, I stopped on a weekday morning around 7am to an already long line. As regulars popped in, they were offered their usual orders and friendly conversation. There was warm, welcoming energy. I opted to have a chai tea latte and the #5, avocado bagel. My tea was the right balance of spicy and sweet and the breakfast was delicious and filling. I also enjoyed the jazzy music and people watching. read more

Super cute little place! We only stopped in for a coffee (and tea, for me), but the menu looked really good with all the sandwich options. I ordered a Peet's honey almond matcha latte (on ice), and was thoroughly happy with my choice. Next time, if we have time, we'll grab a bite to eat. read more

Such a cute little coffee shop in Point Richmond! They serve Peet's Coffee too, my favorite. Got an iced black tie, my favorite. Glad it's local, I literally biked here, and don't have to travel far for my Peet's! I think it's better than Starbucks honestly... They also service breakfast and bites and treats. Welcome to the newest addition to Point Richmond - Roma Cafe & Bar. We happened to be driving by saw the sign that today (Saturday, 3/13) was their grand opening day. We walked in and they had a handful of friends wishing them well on their first day. Located at the "entry" of town, they across the way from the mixed use park, and is a perfect stop for bike riders on their way to or from riding across the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. Their food offerings include breakfast burritos, assorted salads, a couple of soup choices, pastries. In time, they will also have sandwiches. They are also applying for a beer and wine license. Their cold case had a couple of salads, orange juice and I noticed a granola and yogurt cup. They had homemade chicken posole and broccoli cheese soup on the menu. I ordered the posole and it was quite tasty. Definitely warmed me up on a sunny, but chilly afternoon. It came with a good sized chunk of bread, too. Pastries are outsourced but looked pretty yummy. I ended up getting the coffee cake. It was a good sized slice with a tender crumb, not too sweet and definitely shareable. I think they will have a pretty good set up for grab and go breakfasts and lunches. Outdoor seating available. They also appear dog friendly, judging from the water bowl out front. Nice neighborhood cafe, but terrible coffee. I've been ordering their chicken sandwich for the last few months and they usually serve it to me open face. Today I order it open face and they say they have to charge me extra for it - so suddenly it's 24$ for a single sandwich, which is completely unreasonable. read more

I really enjoy going to this place. It's located in Marina Bay, just a short trip away from our house. Although parking can be challenging, the coffee is definitely worth it. We had only been there for breakfast, but it was a great experience. I ordered the breakfast bagels which were delicious, and the fresh juices were also very good. Te amo! I love breakfast bagels and this spot has never let me down! I always get an egg, cheese, and avocado brekkie bage' on an everything bagel and it's delicious. They use high-quality bagels and ingredients and they always actually cook my egg through (side note: why do most places leave my egg essentially uncooked?) and use ripe avocado. The ladies behind the counter are always so sweet and smiley, presenting the perfect start to my day before work. But, they're not limited to breakfast and coffee, folks. Very cool concept! My friend was telling me how this place had a bar and a coffee shop all in one and I thought it was the coolest idea ever. I'm not much of a beer drinker so I got coffee - they serve Peets coffee here and I just got a cappuccino while my boyfriend got a Hazy IPA at the bar. There's plenty of seats at the bar and also smaller tables where you can just with friends and drink coffee or your beer. Nice sunny corner location. But the food and experience was super MEH. Wanted oatmeal - I asked if it's instant or homemade. Got "it's instant. Well, I mean, we get it and make it here." Eye roll. I heard someone mention a cinnamon twist and took a look. Yum, I thought. I expected a flaky, buttery French style pastry but it was a pale, puffy looking pan dulce type bread. I settled for the avocado toast for $4.25. It got a piece of grocery store variety wheat bread with a some smooshed avo. And maybe a drizzle of oil? Some salt and pepper. I could have, and do, make better at home. When I go out and spend what it costs these days, I want to feel like it's better than I could do at home. I so wanted this to be my new place to hang out. I love it here so much!!!!! the owner I believe her name is yolys is the sweetest & tends to memorize all her regular customers orders. (It's so impressive) I come here in the mornings, it does get pretty busy but the workers are all super fast so the line moves pretty quick. Everyone is so sweet and friendly there's a reason why they have so many loyal customers! I almost forgot to mention how delicious the coffee here is, they have peets but I strongly believe they add extra shots of yumminess into the coffee because it's way too good. I cannot vouch for their food. Yesterday they provided me a totally rotten and stale breakfast burrito which tasted like it was about two weeks old, bitter, sour and just gross. To their credit, they were nice about exchanging it for something else for me but I can't believe they even sold that in the first place. Also, they don't seem to work very efficiently. Example, I order an espresso drink, and the lady takes like three or four more orders and attends to those first because they are just drip coffee, before starting to make my drink. So I stand there waiting for my drink for like 10 minutes while I watch people who came in AFTER me get their drinks. This is not how you serve customers. I will not be returning here. read more

I'm so glad Yoly started this new business in the pt Richmond community. She is truly the sweetest person and you can tell and taste the love in her food and drinks. I've be coming here every morning for coffee and it feels amazing to support this local cafe. As of now, the Mocha Bianca iced coffee is my favorite. She is also serving breakfast like bagel sandwiches ( avocado bagel, bacon egg and cheese bagels ) Yoly also has lunch options such as tuna sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches. Along with granola bowels, fresh fruit, cheesecake, chocolate cake, and also an assortment of teas and fresh drinks. Sick and tired of our usual Point Richmond lunch go-tos, I turned to Yelp in my hour of need. Having heard good things about this place, I decided to look at their menu. Oh looky! Vegetarian sandwiches that sound really appealing! Normally sandwich places are not my fave because the vegetarian options feel like an afterthought. Rather than order out, we decided to eat inside at one of the clean, well spaced tables. The service was efficient and friendly. The boyfriend ordered the grilled Turkey sandwich with roasted red peppers and feta and I had the pesto and artichoke heart sandwich. Both sandwiches were served hot with a generous and tasty side salad. Really delicious! So happy to have them in the Point! Looking forward to trying their breakfast/brunch offerings. read more
