Special Hotcakes breakfast and French Toast breakfast
    Andy G.

Haven't been to this spot in years but wanted a good ol' American breakfast Sunday morning so figured we'd give it a go. Definitely a no-frills diner. The interior could use some sprucing up for sure. But what makes this place great is the food and the super friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the hotcakes special (2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage). I also ordered a couple more sausage because yum! The wife ordered her fave French toast with scrambled eggs and sausage. And we both had coffee. Everything was sooo good. And the soft whipped-like butter and warm syrup were perfect! We'll definitely be going back. This place is like a hidden gem, way better than some of the chain breakfast restaurants where you have to wait an hour to get seated. But this place is no secret with the locals as it filled up pretty quick with the breakfast crowd!

They sat me at a dirty Counter top

Sukie's serves decent food. Not great, not a place you would bring friends for a "ya gotta try it out" experience l, just okay. But I expected better service. I decided to run in for a quick breakfast on a Friday morning just after 10:30. They sat me at a dirty counter. Sat for 10 minutes, nobody approached to clean or even offer me a menu while waiting. I don't know what was going on but that was pretty bad.

Senior breakfast menu as of 2/21/26 - for 60 & over M-F only.

Came here for the first time today. I enjoy non-chain restaurants. I read that the potions here are large and that they're open until 2 pm. They open at 7 am. From the outside, the place looks closed, as you come into the parking lot, you're coming in towards the back of the building. The entrance is on the opposite side. As I walked in, I got an 80's vibe. The look of the place took me back to the old days. The seats in the booths, some were ripped, carpets were old. There's counter seating available. So we ordered breakfast. I got pancakes, eggs and bacon. Bf got the fajita omelette with hash browns and toast. I liked my food, but the pancake had a rubbery texture. It didn't taste bad, just had to really cut at it with my knife. I think next time, I'll try the French toast. Bf enjoyed his food. The service was friendly and accommodating. Our food came out quick and the waitress made sure that the coffee always stayed full. I enjoy old-fashioned, classic American comfort food. I'll be back.

Been living I the area, I've never known such restaurant around. This time I came with my parents for breakfast, I am surprised why I missed such a good place! Atmosphere and the decor are very classic. They even have senior breakfast options, which is very good for those elderly who can't eat much! Foods are ok and decent, service was good and friendly. I will definitely come again with my parents!

Haven been here in many years. Husband and I came in for breakfast. We were seated and served pretty quickly. I had the country morning breakfast. It was good. The country potatoes could have used some seasoning but I like everything heavy seasoned. My husband had the breakfast burrito plate and loved it. Pancakes were good too. Good old fashioned breakfast and good service. I will come back.

Service was great, friendly welcome, consistent follow-up, and pleasant interactions. The food however, on this visit was a bit of a miss. The signature items are the grits, but I wanted to venture and do something more traditional. I went with the Old Fashion Waffle with 2 eggs, and a split order of bacon & sausage. The waffle & syrup were pretty basic... Needs something like a hint of cinnamon or some powdered sugar. Same for the eggs & meat... sausage & bacon were overcooked. It's been better, and with the rising costs, I was expecting more for my money. I'll return but if it doesn't deliver, I may have put this one to rest as many other options are avaialble.

    Nice empty corner. Friendly waitress.

8/18/24 The chicken fried steak here has won many awards (verbal medals awarded over the years from my wife). Their grits are rumoured far and wide to be an aphrodisiac. If you are into grits, get ready for a dining romance. We visited again this Sunday. A lot of hard worker looking customers eating and many raucous children making a racket. Sukie's seems much mellower on weekdays with more seniors and fewer juniors if you prefer that. The restaurant furnishings look dated (like Sukie has been on a few too many rough blind dates) but the seats are mostly comfortable and the place is mostly clean. The staff works feverishly to keep everything bussed and buzzing. With the reasonable price per portion size ratio, you will have extra cash to leave a nice tip for the staff if your heart is in that place. Sukie's proves the adage. The way to a man's or woman's heart IS through their stomach. ENJOY.

I've been going here for about 2 decades. Nothing has changed and I love that. One of my favorite local diners and I've got so many good memories coming here on Sundays with my family. I hope nothing changes here. They've always had fair prices and large portions with great flavor. Much love to Sukie's

It's a neighborhood restaurant and good for breakfast or brunch. The menu has a variety of food to please different tastes. The coffee is not that strong but drinkable and has free refills. I ordered the chicken and waffles cooked fresh to order so there's a 20 minute wait. It comes with 4 chicken legs and 1 waffle, worth it for the price. I prefer the waffle to be a little crispier. The chicken batter was crispy and seasoned well and not salty. My husband had the senior breakfasts - sausages , over easy egg, sourdough toast and rice. Con - bathroom plumbing not too good and the sink too high if you are a wheelchair user. I would return to try other items from the menu. I also liked the old fashioned cafe ambiance! Very cozy and the staff were great !

This place is tucked away in the corner of strip mall, and closer to the the back end of CCC college. From the outside it reminds me of a Spires diner or old Lyons location. If you can't tell from the name, it's Korean owned. It wasn't too busy when I went, but it was on a weekday. There were only about 2 servers, but they were efficient. There were regulars that came in, and then a lot of pick up orders. The menu is one page, front and back and has a variety of selection to meet everyones dietary needs. I ordered the chicken fajita omelet with a side of grits and sourdough toast. The omelet came and it was packed with diced seasoned chicken and freshly diced green peppers and onions. (sometimes places like to use the frozen packets) the grits were perfectly cooked and alot of it so I ended up taking them home. A cute little spot with good food, definitely probably packed on the weekends. Will place an order to go before work sometime

I like their breakfast especially their eggs. French toast better than the pancakes. Don't care for the lunch as much.

What impressed me about their dinner menu is the drinks, very strong and delicious. The food was okay... we ordered a burger with fries and wings. The meat was cooked medium rare, if you don't like it cooked that way make sure you let them know. I really enjoyed the wings, they were well seasoned and give a decent portion. They also charge for extra ketchup which I've never experienced, understandable if it was ranch or some other special sauce but it wasn't. All the servers were polite, attentive and the place was clean and felt welcoming. They have a bar that I'll probably go to next time just for the drinks. I recommend to order their hazelnut espresso martini and the madre mía both drinks were amazing!

I'm new to the Bay and trying to actually explore, so I'm really glad I found this place…read more I came with a friend on a slow Sunday around 4pm. Parking was pretty easy, though there aren't a ton of spots. Since it wasn't busy, we got a lot of attention and guidance on the teas, how to steep them, and what to pay attention to while drinking. We did the 3-tea flight ($25 + $3 per extra cup) and both got a snickerdoodle cookie, which was really nice alongside the teas since they were served without added sugar. This was the first time I think I actually understood tea descriptions. Earthy? Apparently that means I might feel like a little glistening frog licking a water droplet off a leaf in a swamp during the fall . I learned earthy teas probably aren't for me. But then you'll be sipping something, slightly lost, and suddenly be like....wait, I taste the chocolate! The plum? Brown sugar?? You start connecting the descriptions to what you're tasting and learning your own preferences: hotter or cooler, longer or shorter steep, which flavors you keep going back to. The changes between steeps are subtle, which I think is important to know if you're new to tea. It's less about huge flavors hitting your taste buds and more about slowing down enough to notice. We also had a little owl tea pet that we poured water over while setting intentions for our goals. As our conversation moved through life, plans and where we both are right now, I started to understand how tea becomes a ritual. Water to leaf, leaf to tea, tea to you, then back to the leaf for another steep. Calmingly informational is probably the best way I can describe it. I learned about tea, learned a little about myself, had a great conversation with my friend, and left understanding why the whole process can feel so grounding. Sooo I'd definitely come back! I think it's especially nice for catching up with someone when you actually want to sit and talk, a quieter date, or even just trying something you haven't done before.

Who knew you could have a tea flight? I didn't before visiting this spot…read more First of all, the ambiance speaks for itself, but the service is what set this experience over the top! I appreciate the detail Kebzie shared about each tea. I learned that certain teas can be steeped multiple times, changing the flavor profile. My favorite tea changed throughout the tasting experience due to this. I appreciate that each tea was labeled with the number of recommended steeps and the best temperature to pour the water. We were also given a tea pet which was perfect because my friend and I were discussing our intentions for the coming season. We were both very stressed from work and just life in general so this is just the type of experience we needed. We were able to slow down & enjoy each other's company all while learning more about tea (we're tea obsessed). Thank you so much to the Blue Willow team! My only complaint is that there are limited food options (the snickerdoodle cookie was excellent!). I say this as more of a warning so people don't come hungry, but it didn't take away from the experience. One final note: "If you get a few leaves in your sipping cup it's good luck" ~Kebzie
