I contacted Raul on Tuesday about doing a few small concrete installations (~60 sq ft in total) in our yard, and to break an existing concrete piece so that we could lower the depth of an in-place conduit PVC pipe. If you are considering having concrete work done, do yourself a favor and give Roman an opportunity to bid the job. We put out requests to Roman and 4 other local contractors through yelp. Raul was the first to respond, provided a detailed initial quote (which was very fair) and was even able to meet with us on the same day. He reviewed the project in better detail, confirmed the quote amount previously provided and agreed to complete some additional turf removal for a small additional fee. We waited until the weather cooperated and had our projected this last weekend. Honestly could not be happier. As others have mentioned, Raul is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He makes the entire process very comfortable and welcomes feedback/input with a smile. Given the recent heavy rains, our yard was pretty muddy which led to some expected challenges. They had to dig the majority of the area out by hand and while this led to an increase in the time, but it didn't change the attitudes, the quote or quality of the work. They arrived prior to the scheduled start time and worked hard for nearly 10 straight hours... Raul returned a couple days later to pressure wash our existing driveway, the sidewalk and even the street leaving the whole place in better condition than he found it.
