Our pool deck and patio area look amazing and we get so many compliments when we host. I hired him back in 2018 when I purchased my current home. I got 5+ quotes from those top reviews on Yelp near my area and let them come to my property and measure the backyard, talked about the design, available pavement material, and quote. A few of them were trying to sell me all the unnecessary options for driveway + heavy vehicle moving above it. A few of them weren't even licensed actually. They said they did but never showed me the license information. Franco, the owner of this business, is the only paver back then who reached out to me and provided all the information I asked, gave me a reasonable schedule with a super competitive price. Also, their work was very high quality. His employee did all the jobs that I asked perfected, and even recommended & installed 1~2 extra drainage than I asked because they thought my original ask isn't enough in case a heavy rainstorm hits my backyard. I decided to hire Franco for my backyard paver/turf project after interviewing 3 other companies. Franco stood out because of his attention to details during the interview and in his proposal. Franco responded to a request to quote to replace a crumbling retaining wall in my backyard. He was the first to show up for an in depth quote and the first to quote. He ended up also being the most competitive bid in a situation where prices were all over the place. He and his team demo'd the old wall and took it all out manually (as it had to be done because my backyard is downgrade from the street and behind it is a slope.) Then they had the new wall up within 1 week. They went the extra mile for us too - - They pulled out and saved all the plants they could in the planter in front of the wall -They added waterproofing and a drain solution built in to the wall to add to it's longevity. -They kept everything in top shape even after having to store the dirt right there on top of our artificial grass. We talked about how hard it is to find good ones and I hate the process, yes we've had bad experiences, but we have also had phenomenal experiences. Your crew was nice enough and yes hard working. I am upset you are trying to make me look bad when I was totally patient with you even though I knew you were dishonest about being able to complete our job in a timely manner. I believe you were unprofessional about stringing us along telling us that you'd be sending more guys from day one, but never did until the last day and a half. It should not have taken 9 days to do our job. Yes, I am not satisfied with your work, yes you may do awesome work for others, mine as shown in the pictures is not quality like we expected. We are just going to pay someone else to make things right, I get that you feel it's not your job and that YOU are satisfied with it, we are not. We will pay someone to come fix stucco, paint and remove and reapply polymeric sand. It's no longer a big deal. I don't hate you, not in my nature. We hope you have a successful future with your company, we also hope you reflect on this job and are just more upfront if you cannot get the job done, It cost my wife an extra 2 days off as well as 2 extra for me. Although we are not going to do business with Franco, I'd like to share that Franco showed up to our appointment on time, responded to my email messages and provided us with a very competitive proposal. We did not accept Franco's proposal for the following reasons. First, we met with Franco on a Tuesday and he sent us the proposal on Thursday. Franco had told us that he would deliver the estimate to us that evening or the following day; he delivered the estimate two days later. We want to establish business relationships with people whom we can trust from the start. Second, Franco showed up to our house in the middle of this pandemic (COVID-19) without a mask. Both my husband and I have elderly parents. We don't want to get sick. We don't want to get our parents sick. I was very gentle on my delivery and offered Franco a mask. I went inside my house and brought a bag of brand-new masks. He took a mask and put it on his chin. Really?! We didn't say anything, but neither one of us was pleased with this attitude. For someone who wants to earn our business, the fact that he was so set to march on his own will didn't give us a good sign. Third, because Franco is running the business all by himself and offers competitive fees, he is very busy. He wouldn't have started our project until 4 weeks from our acceptance of his proposal. We found a reputable company that is starting our project much sooner also at a competitive fee. We wish Quality Pavers continued success. I had a fantastic experience with Quality Pavers! I hired them to do a very large project at my house in Anaheim. This project turned out to be one of the biggest they had done during the year, and it was extensive, requiring about 4 weeks of work. Our backyard was transformed from a mundane, cranked sea of 1970's era concrete and weeds to the absolute envy of our neighborhood. Franco was fantastic and made about a dozen trips to our house during the course of the project to ensure we were happy and our questions were answered. Their crews worked diligently and tirelessly to complete our project. We got assigned David as our foreman and he spared no effort in making our property the talk of the neighborhood. I received quotes from 5 different vendors before choosing to work with Franco and the Quality Pavers crew for our backyard project. From the moment I interacted with Franco, he was very respectful, responsive and had lots of great ideas. He turned around the quote within 24 hours and was not pushy at all... Our project was a combination of pavers and artificial turf, with two stubs for future BBQ island and fire pit. Even though the job wasn't that big, the crew was on time every morning and left our backyard clean at the end of the day. And boy were they efficient!! Our job took 4 days to complete. We ran into a bit of a snag along the way (no-fault to Franco and his crew - - previous owners of our house decided to run an illegal PVC gas line to our backyard that we had to unexpectedly rectify), and Franco was able to work around our schedule to get the crew back to our house once we fixed the gas line.
