I…read moreoriginally was going to get pierced by his apprentice but we had scheduling issues so he offered to do it in her place. Frank is THE most thorough piercer I've ever had. I've gotten over 6+ piercings and he's the only one who was the most thorough in explaining everything, the process, and anything else you can think of. He's the first piercer I've been to that uses the hoops to visualize where the piercing will lay and I love being able to check in the mirror. Most pierces just mark your ear and send you off to the mirror but I love that I had a physically element to compare to! The shop is clean and has a great variety of basic earrings you can choose. Frank was super accommodating and friendly. I ended up getting 2 helix piercings near each other and he constantly checked in with me to see if I was okay or dizzy. He even offered sweets. One of the other reasons I'm happy with my visit is he gave other advice that other piercers didn't give me like switch out my pillow (duh!) and place a pillow under your elbow if you toss and turn in your sleep. Overall, I would recommend his shop and his piercings! Some tattoo/piercing places are intimidating and have stinky vibes but this shop is welcoming and warm. Thanks Frank!

After submitting the online inquiry form and messaging Sunny, I quickly received a response and an estimated cost. To my surprise, she has always wanted do beetle tattoos and was excited to work with me. Since it was my first tattoo, I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. However, Sunny's friendliness and the store's calming ambiance made me feel reassured and surprisingly comfortable. From reference pictures to stenciling, Sunny walked me through each step and ensure all the details of the darkling beetles were included. Furthermore, before the initial outlining, other artists in the store were asked to double check the stencil (flow, composition, etc). 3 hours quickly passed and I got my first 3 beetle tattoos done on my forearm. It didn't hurt too bad because I was enjoying the nerdy beetle conversation with Sunny. After the tattoos were wrapped up, Sunny gave me a run down on the after-care routine and what to expect during the healing process.
