I've worked with Phuong twice, and she's quick, skilled, and super chill to chat with. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable and talented artist. The owner is also a super nice, he even offered me cake once during my visit! --Friday the 13th Flashes: I first discovered this shop because they are one of the only shops that allow custom flashes during Friday the 13th. Prices range from $50-$70, up to 3-4 inches in size. They are also flexible with scheduling--you can take a number and reschedule for later in the week if the day gets too busy. --Overall: I've gotten half the tattoos on my body from this shop, and for good reason. The clean environment, friendly artists, and accommodating schedule, it's now my go-to spot. Highly recommend!

After submitting the online inquiry form and messaging Sunny, I quickly received a response and an estimated cost. To my surprise, she has always wanted do beetle tattoos and was excited to work with me. Since it was my first tattoo, I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. However, Sunny's friendliness and the store's calming ambiance made me feel reassured and surprisingly comfortable. From reference pictures to stenciling, Sunny walked me through each step and ensure all the details of the darkling beetles were included. Furthermore, before the initial outlining, other artists in the store were asked to double check the stencil (flow, composition, etc). 3 hours quickly passed and I got my first 3 beetle tattoos done on my forearm. It didn't hurt too bad because I was enjoying the nerdy beetle conversation with Sunny. After the tattoos were wrapped up, Sunny gave me a run down on the after-care routine and what to expect during the healing process. In the end, I am so glad that I went to Sunny from My Tattoo for the beetle tattoos. This is why I am having Sunny finishing a full beetle sleeve on my left arm.
