After reading some of these reviews I decided to give this place a chance. I had a great experience, the employee at the register greeted me as I walked in. I shopped around for maybe 15mins looking at all the pretty & colorful clothing they had. I work at a bikini bar so everything I needed is in this store ! Super racist. I walked in with 2 of my white friends (I'm Mexican with brown skin) and the lady working there was watching me the entire time. We tried making friendly conversation with her but she ignored us as well. We weren't greeted or anything when we walked in and you can just tell we weren't welcome there. I just came in to check it out see their selection, and since I pass all the time I noticed how large their selections where. It just looked promising. After walking around for 20 minutes and asking them where things where that I saw on the mannequin, I collected a few items (7 to be exact). The women hardly acknowledged me when I asked for the item i noticed on the mannequin. But the man got it instead (who was much nicer). Finally after the 20 minutes I spent walking around getting outfits to try on she says "we dont let people try them on" .. Yeah they told me I was too big to try on a certain pair of boots. I would agree that I knew I was going to fit the boots (my American thighs could never) but I realistically didn't need the woman to tell me that in that way. She also follows you around the store in a rude way. If you are super thin and like ravewesr this is the spot for you. If you are curvy or muscular I wouldn't recommend. If I could give zero stars I would. I went in with my service dog and they immediately said that we couldn't be in there because of him. I then told them that it was a service dog and they didn't say anything. When I tried to go into on of the smaller rooms they yelled at me that he couldn't be in there but I told them that he could because it wasn't a sterile environment. The lady then tried to lie and say well I'm allergic and I told her that she needs to know the ADA and that she needs to accommodate both of us. Her husband just stood there and kept saying no. Seriously it's no wonder why they have 60 bad reviews. The lady that works there is soooooo rude and literally has the personality of a mud fence! I've tried going back there three different times and I'm never going back again! All 3 times the experience was exactly the same. This place def has a bit of a selection when it comes to dance/rave wear, but it's very unpleasant to shop here. First of all, you cannot try on anything. They don't even have a dressing room. Women have a NEED to try on this type of stuff. So here, you buy based on the hope that it fits. The other annoying thing about this place is that you have zero privacy while shopping. Alright this is going to be one hell of a review, I made a yelp just to write this essay of discontent. It's very long but a good read if you wanna hear about how I confronted the shop owner on her bullshit So I've been to this store five or six times with my girlfriend over the past two or three years now, before and after they moved location. I've never once walked away satisfied and I've made 5 or 6 purchases. As you can see if you've glanced at the other reviews, they of course follow you as if you're planning on stealing, even tho I've walked in wearing a short sleeveless dress and carrying no purse, I'm still a possible thief. Gonna shove huge square plastic packages in my underwear I guess. Every time I've gone I've seen a different sales girl, the only consistency this place has is the old asian couple you see when you go to purchase your items. If you hold onto an item with the intent to purchase but still want to browse they will offer to take it up to the front register, if you decline they will insist. Don't want you stealing. Maybe some of you don't mind being rushed and pestered but it gives me a huge amount of anxiety and makes is hard to think. Now my main reason to go was to get a strap on. Our first time there I said, we are beginners and my girlfriend is plus sized, what would you recommend? The saleswoman took a glance at the toys on the wall we were facing and pointed one out with an air of uncertainty, going so far as to say she has it and loves it which I was surprised to hear. Funny enough I'd later learn that they say this about everything you're considering buying.(even funnier when you browse the reviews and find the former employee who was instructed to do just this) What we left with was a hollow dong for men with erectile dysfunction that want to last longer during sex and had a vibrator built in. I cannot tell you how much I loathe this fucking thing. It's big and blunt, too thick to fit my hand around much less get inside and although I was eager and determined it was still impossible to use. The outside felt like hard plastic while the inside was velveteen smooth. It's obvious this toy was built more with the man in mind. That thing cost us $50 and we can't use it. On to the next purchase not more then a week or two later I went back, I was still eager and not going to let the the first toy fumble stop me, clearly it was my fault and I needed to warm up to it! We explained ourselves and got a new recommendation, this time for a twin pack of jelly dildos, one mini and one of a more average size. I think it was $25 bucks which was lucky since we'd already dropped $50 on a useless hunk of plastic. This one worked thank god, sure it smelled kinda like chemicals but that was probably normal, right? And the harness included was made of cheap leather. It broke the 3rd time we used it so I quickly reinforced it. Imagine me butt naked with a sewing kit, it was ridiculous. Then it broke every other time we used it. But we made due. That is until after less then a year I found it was painful to use, no matter how carefully we went about it the pain just got worse, I couldn't bare it and we had to stop every time. I was so concerned, I didn't understand what was wrong with me, what I was doing wrong. I googled to try and find out, learned some facts, looked up the kind of lubricant and the jelly dildo to see if they didn't mix--and that was the problem. Turns out Jelly toys are porous, and even if they're phalate free they trap bacteria in their pores inside the toy and then seap it back out. No matter how well you clean it this happens, you can't boil them, can't use cleaners, even bleach would just be adsorbed and leaked back out later. Signs are a strong chemical smell and a recently cleaned and stored toy found 'sweating'. It was easy to miss this but I checked and YEAH that's what it was doing. That's what was causing the burning and pain. I was enraged and hell bent to visit the store to chew them out. I would have to agree with the rest of the yelpers, the staff is very attentive! But, I like that...at least when I'm in an adult store. While I may have an idea of what I'm looking for, I don't necessarily no all the ins and outs so pester me and educate me. The staff was very polite and helpful, I had questions and they were able to provide an answer. I did ask for a suggestion on a gift for someone with a lot of dynamics and particular preferences and the sales lady was a little set back, but only for a moment. I was able to walk the entire store in peace once I had decided on what I was purchasing/leaning towards purchasing. I would say the staff is very pushy because 1. perhaps it's not that busy, so what customers they do get in they give the the royal service, and 2. they 're trying to determine if the customers are serious or just in the store for shits and giggles. As far as store layout, it's very open, organized and clean. Which is great! However it seems like it focused a lot clothing, being that the floor was filled with different outfits and garments. There was not a section for DVDS, and that was odd to me. If I ever need to go to another adult store again, I'll definitely make this my first stop, but I am open to see what the other stores have. read more
