We arrived on a Tuesday evening and there were only a handful of other customers - maybe 6 or 8. We were promptly seated and had our orders taken shortly after. We ordered the mixed appetiser tray - the bruschetta was decent but tasted heavily of rosemary, the fried cheese was fried cheese, and the fried calamari was good. They also brought a small amount of bread which we ate, which also tasted like it was coated in rosemary, and our salads. And then we waited, and waited, and waited. An hour passed before our meals were served. Our waitress insisted they were on the way, and when they arrived they were nice and hot, but I have no idea how they could have taken so long since we were practically the only people there by that point (there were six of us).
The food was okay. I ordered the four cheese ravioli. Honestly, I've had ravioli at Olive Garden that tasted better. The ravioli was decent but the flavour was completely drowned out by - AGAIN - by rosemary. The eggplant parmigiana was also decent, as was the chicken. It's also worth note that the entire restaurant only has five English-language menus available. Overall the experience might have been better if we hadn't been hungry on arrival. I suggest you avoid this restaurant unless you both don't mind waiting an hour plus for meals and you have a deep love of rosemary. read more
