Communication was thorough and timely. Multiple samples were delivered to my home, to ensure I was happy with the color of shingles to be installed. The price for the whole service was well within reason. Since I had my roof done at an unpopular time (winter), I had the full crew at my disposal. Thus, they must have set a new record for how quickly the work was completed. The old roof was removed and the new roof installed in practically no time at all. It felt like Santa's elves were working magic up there! A serious effort was made to protect my yard from debris (though I will say, I wish they would have thoroughly moved back the heavy stones they used to hold down the tarps). If your experiences have been anything like mine, hiring a contractor to do ANYTHING includes three major phases to the battle: 1) obtain quotes from reputable companies, 2) select someone from thosequotes and 3) have selected company complete the job correctly. These guys made all three steps (pun intended) super easy and painless. When 1) I called for a quote I got a speedy but thorough response, when 2) we hired them bc their quote was easy to understand and a fair price and 3) when we hired them they sent an awesome crew that worked their tails off to complete the job. We also had a few minor imperfections which they quickly resolved. They didn't question 'why' we asked or debate they made sure we were happy. They didn't ask for the final payment until the HOA was 100% satisfied. What a positive experience it was working with these guys (Mike in office and Eddie the owner)! I'd highly recommend.

Eddie came out 15 minutes early to do look the place over and do measurements and came up with an estimate about 30% less than the competitors. I received an official contract proposal within 24 hours via email. Mike made sure to do a follow up to address any concerns and questions I had the day after I had received the emailed proposal. Contract was signed a few weeks later after I confirmed that E&B was licensed by the city. Work began close enough to the given estimated time frame (delayed 1 week due to daily severe thunderstorms) and job completion was a little under 4 weeks (there were a few days of thunderstorms that would've made it too dangerous to work). The work crew worked even during mid 90*F temperatures, much respect. Work entailed 5 lintel replacements, a entire front facade grind and tuckpoint with mortar matching closely to original with a 1 year warranty. Clean up was a power wash with masonry detergent. Throughout the process, any questions and concerns I had were promptly answered by Mike or Eddie within 2 hours of sending a text message or email. Customer service, communication and work is exemplary. I highly recommend.

Communication was awful--they rarely showed up as scheduled, and I was never updated on progress or tile design choices. I explained clearly how the tiles should match the existing pattern, even noting size differences. The workers nodded, but the final layout was random and nonsensical. When I asked them to redo it, they still arrived unpredictably, leaving me unsure when--or if--the job would be completed. The grout work was uneven, with gaps that wouldn't withstand weather, and some tiles were chipped during cleanup. They even missed areas hidden under flower pots. Despite repeated requests, the office offered virtually no updates, leaving the project frustrating and chaotic. After showing them photos of bad grouping and damaged tiles, they told me they would not be returnining. This should have been an easy job, but it was handled poorly from start to finish. I cannot recommend them.

North Shore did an amazing job replacing an entire wall of brick veneer that was degrading on the…read moreside of my house. The new brick seamlessly matches with the existing brick and you can tell that a high level attention to detail was used to complete the job. There were a few hick-ups along the way but project manager Luke and crew lead Roman went above and beyond to make certain I was informed throughout the process and that I received the best value for the work that was done and they even threw in a few extras. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again if I need other masonry work done to my house in the future.

They were the only company we could find that would do an overlay rather than a removal and replacement. The 2 inch overlay was less than half the cost of a complete replacement. Sal inspected the old driveway and determined that the foundation was structurally sound and an overlay was feasible. The driveway looks like new. We have had several downpours since and I can find no water pooling on the driveway anywhere - it is graded perfectly. They also handled the whole permitting process with the village for us. Their office staff was great to work with and kept me informed throughout the process. We can highly recommend this firm for your asphalting needs.
