Extremely disappointing treatment of a 15+ year customer I…read morehave been a loyal customer of Le French Cleaners for over 15 years, sending in many items every week, but unfortunately, my recent experience has completely destroyed my trust in the business. I sent an expensive blazer in specifically for a sleeve alteration--not for dry cleaning. When it was returned, the button portion around the sleeve had been bleached and the blazer was ruined. I tried repeatedly to resolve the matter directly with the owner, but was told that there was something wrong with the material and that I should contact the manufacturer. This was especially frustrating because the blazer had been successfully dry cleaned by Le French many times before, and it was not even there for dry cleaning when the damage occurred. After we were unable to resolve the issue, I had to hire an attorney. Le French submitted the claim to its insurance company, which approved reimbursement. The insurance company promptly paid its portion and advised that Le French would pay its $1,000 deductible. Despite my lawyer writing to Le French requesting the $1000, I still have not received the $1,000 owed to me. After 15+ years of loyalty, I am extremely disappointed in how Le French has treated me.

Very clean and well kept with a tailor sitting on the machine working on something magical. The tailor fitted me, and was very nice. This was off just having a terrible experience with some shirts getting butchered by the local dry cleaner, so I wanted a more professional take. I walked in completely clueless on a whim, tactlessly not making an appointment, and even though it was Juan's lunchbreak he still immediately took the time to see me and work with me. That said... let the man eat. Don't interrupt his break! I still feel bad about it!!! About the tailoring: Juan is just That Dude. He WILL make you look better and point out ways to make the clothes better compliment your body that others don't even know about. The pricing felt extremely fair and not at all like I was being overcharged for the amount and quality of work being done. Not only that, Juan did me a solid by getting the alterations done in-time with a big move out of state. Last minute, off of a random walk-in, and brother still treated me like I was a long time regular. And matter of fact, even though I'm going to be living down south I WILL still be getting my nicest clothing tailored by Juan.
