So very happy with my window tinting - excellent service, excellent job! Martin even tinted the front pillar fixed glass the GTI has. They're so awkward I wasn't anticipating anyone being able to. My car looks *so* good.

Had Martin & family do the tint on my Transit; side door windows & slider door window and rear and it is still perfect two years later. This place is the BEST! Locally owned, family run and exceptional work. I've had 2 cars tinted, detailed and most recently ceramic coated. I literally can't say enough good! The attention to detail (no pun intended) is above and beyond! I just picked up my wife's car today and am still floored by how good it looks. Literally better than new. We have 2 young boys and they are nothing but mess; our car is a kid hauler. We dropped off a trash can of a car and picked up a brand new car. We did ceramic tint (a total game changer in north county! It keeps the car considerably cooler in the summer and helps prevent sun damage to both your interior and your skin!). We also did a ceramic coating on the exterior which is akin to the best wax on the market, but lasts 10 years. Washing is a breeze and it stays shiny and smooth to the touch. Not sure if I will ever let the kids touch it again hahaha. I'm a transplant from LA where there are hundreds of tint, detail, ppf shops. I've owned an embarrassing amount of cars and had them all detailed, tinted, ceramic coated etc at one point - if Roman's was in LA, it would have been my top choice!! But it's in Atascadero which is even better because this is where I live now! I would 100% go out of my way to bring my car to Roman's. Don't underestimate this spot! You will not regret it.

I came to them asking to have my windows tinted and was good with the price they quoted. When I arrived he apologized and said the price he quoted was too high due to he thought I had a different model car. Can you say honesty?!?!?! My windows roll down automatically when the door is opened. This makes it difficult for it to adhere properly. After a few days the driver side started to bubble a little. I brought it back to him a few weeks later and he took my car in the next day no questions asked apologizing left and right. This is a hard working family owned business with integrity. I highly recommend!!

Clean, knowledgeable and very friendly. Their quality of work is excellent. I had a poor job done on my bumper at another shop. Roman's fixed the mistake and did an awesome job. This place is the BEST! Locally owned, family run and exceptional work. I've had 2 cars tinted, detailed and most recently ceramic coated. I literally can't say enough good! The attention to detail (no pun intended) is above and beyond! I just picked up my wife's car today and am still floored by how good it looks. Literally better than new. We have 2 young boys and they are nothing but mess; our car is a kid hauler. We dropped off a trash can of a car and picked up a brand new car. Martin and Wendy do fantastic work! I've brought 3 vehicles in for both paint protection film and ceramic finishing and results for all have been stellar! Roman's goes beyond what is expected, and in my case they additionally treated the plastic exterior components on my truck, and taken the initiative to have the step sides re-powder coated...for a very reasonable price. We're so fortunate to have such a vehicle detail expert in our area. I highly recommend Roman's for any finish or tint requirements...you won't be disappointed! read more

I arrived about 20 mins early for my appointment. Roman walked out to the parking lot to greet me. Super friendly guy. Brought me in and we went over what I had in mind for window tint (I had very little in mind since I've never done this) After some some discussion we came to a conclusion on what to do. I walked to a nearby coffee shop while they got to work. 2.5 hours later it was done. Looks great and I can feel the difference with how much cooler it's keeping my car when parked in the sun. I also asked about having my car detailed and getting the ceramic coating. He showed me on another vehicle they were working on what I could expect. Based on the work he did on my windows, I will be back soon to have them detail my car. Overall I am super stoked on my experience with this company and would highly recommend. read more

Amazing service and pricing. With a lifetime warranty on my window tint to match. Can't beat the 5 star service Martine provided. Took my car in to get my windows and was impressed by the quality and task Roman tinting took. I hate to have to leave this review, and I'm not one to usually leave bad reviews, even after a bad…read moreexperience. I brought my BMW 540i in to have my windshield fully replaced, and I must say, they did a great job. The replacement was great quality, they calibrated my rain sensing wipers and front collision warning system. Unfortunately, this is where things started to go wrong. I picked up my car and drove it home normally, only to realize a few days later that there were huge curved scratches following the pattern of the wiper blades. Technically, they did not cause this, but I spoke to another windshield technician who informed me that when you have a cracked windshield, it is strongly recommended that you also replace your wiper blades. The reason being, they can pick up shards of glass from your cracked windshield, and as soon as the wipers turn on, they will permanently ruin your new windshield. I just think that as a company who primarily does glass work, they should be able to inform you or at least recommend to get new wiper blades when they see a cracked windshield. Unfortunately, this cannot be repaired and the only option is to buy a new $800 windshield. I have had other work done by them, and it is usually a good quality as well as good customer service. Let this be a warning to anyone replacing a cracked windshield before they ruin their new one.

Scott pulled a page right out of the ultimate Karen playbook and called the cops on me for taking too long......in the car wash line......while there were cars in both sides of the car wash. Can't make this stuff up. There are buckets available to wash windows and wheels while waiting for a free bay, which is exactly what I was doing when he approached me. I ignored him at first. I did my best to keep ignoring him, as I thought I was being punked. When I told him to leave me alone, he told me I was rude and that I need to leave and told me he would refund my money, after I had already prepped my truck for the car wash. Then he said he was calling the cops. This all occurred in the 3-5 minutes I was waiting for an open car wash bay. I told him I'd be happy to wait for them to explain why their time was being wasted, which I did. I was literally there a whole 3 minutes before he came out flexing his power and said I was rude, took pictures of me, my vehicle and my license plates, told police I was on something and that I was irate. AT THE CAR WASH!Apparently he couldn't comprehend why I was upset that I was being told to hurry up and being called rude while there were literally cars in the car wash bays I was waiting for. Then when the cops showed up as he requested, (3 patrol cars responded quickly, great response time APD!) Ol Scott couldn't be bothered to come outside of his office and argue his case. The little nerd came out to the car wash to flex his power, and when he crossed the line into harassing me, he got a taste of his own medicine and tucked tail into his office. Scott's father in law, the actual owner, all but said this is a common occurrence. I was shocked If you stop here, make sure you thank Scott for saving the world, one car wash at a time! His ego will appreciate it. He clearly needs excitement in his life, and based on the comments, it seems like a few other locals had no problem giving it to him as requested.

I had soap suds on my side view mirror and water drops left all over my car that of course now have dried and left water spots. They also don't have enough vacuums and there were not any available so I had to leave without being able to vacuum my car as well. I usually go to Quiky Car Wash when I'm in SLO and it is way better than Sun Day car wash as far as actually rinsing the soap off your car fully and then blow drying it enough that you don't have a bunch of water spots left on your car. Plus they have a ton of vacuums. I've been going there for years and I've never not been able to find an open vacuum to use at different times of day and different days of the week there has never been a problem finding an available vacuum station to use. Even when I have gone to Qwiky and there been a few water drops here and there they have not left a watermark when they dry like they did at Sun Day touchless car wash, which I think has to do with the quality of water they are using in their touchless car wash. I feel like I pretty much wasted the $25 that I spent on the best Touchless Car Wash (highest level of service from their 3 options) they have. I probably will not be back unless I am desperate and have no other options but I go to SLO a lot for errands so I'll probably just stick with Quiky car wash.

Oh my goodness, I took my Tesla to finally get tinted at Romans tint and detail in Atascadero and let me tell you I don't remember why I waited almost an entire year to have it done! I suffered through so many hot days and literally got a sunburn while driving in the Tesla these past 10 months, and on Monday, I took my car to be tinted already I can tell how much cooler the car feels, and that's not all! Roman's Tint went above and beyond on customer service today. I had my Telsa Y windows tinted a few weeks ago by Roman's outstanding job was done then. Unfortunately while my Telsa was being repaired at the Dealer front passenger was damaged and was replaced by Dealer. So needed to get window tint replaced. I brought my car here with a last minute appointment. Wendy and Martin are very nice, professional and really do know what they are doing!! The tint I got was ceramic and a total gamechanger!
