I remember, once upon a time, when this was some of the best pizza in Elyria. When it opened, my parents would get it frequently. For a couple years it was my go-to, the safety net on pizza night, for when other options didn't materialize; occasionally it was my first choice. Those days are gone. Somewhere, somehow, something changed. I don't know if the original owner left, sold his stake and moved across the country. I used to see him whenever went in for pickup. He was always there. Active, engaged, helping when and where he could. This man knew me and addressed me by name, despite only seeing me once every two or three weeks. Then one day I never saw him again. And from then on the quality declined and declined to the point where I placed an order tonight, fully expecting to be disappointed, and my expectations were wildly exceeded. Absolutely great food service was ok. Average food not special will eat again but not on purpose

Not a fan of the pizza sauce - very sweet but other items we have had from there have been good. They also do a lot to help out the community with their fundraising nights. They have a great online ordering system, food is always read on time and great online coupons. There is no indoor dining this is a takeout only establishment. read more

The Chester Commons Romeo's always makes great pie for me and I love the ability to customize the pizza on the app. Well done, very well done, lite cheese, sauce, etc. You can have it made exactly how you like it. Who doesn't like that? If you order delivery, you can see approximately how long before it's delivered when ordered. If you're in a hurry, this gives you the option to switch carryout instead of having it delivered. This is my go to pizza. Keep up the great work! read more

We got subs, wings, garlic bread with cheese and a salad. Their subs are AMAZING!!!! I don't know what they do to their turkey sub but it puts Subway to shame! They actually called me and apologized for forgetting my salad. I told them no worries and they credited me. Honestly what I received was so good I forgot I was missing the salad. This used to be my favorite pizza chain until recently. Ive begun to notice that the pizza has less and less cheese and other toppings on it for the past year or so but tonight I was definitely disappointed. My pizza was downright sad and not worth the money I paid for it. Not sure if the topping issues are due to an attempt to increase profitability or the employees just don't care or don't know what the heck they're doing. I refuse to believe that people don't know how to make a pizza though so it must be the organization or owner trying to squeeze a couple of extra pennies out of the customers. Either way this place is heading in the wring direction and will probably be closing or joining the other crappy pizza chains very soon. I also ordered some Jojo's and it seems that they are dwindling in numbers as well. Whoever is in charge needs to right the ship and quick! read more

Pizza: Very Good Prices: BAD So picked up a "Medium" 2-Topping pizza last night. It cost $14.75 and while I really like Romeo's pizza, they don't exactly pour on the toppings. Say whatever you want but that's pricey for take-out pizza. Oh yah - noticed they no longer have a menu-board up which gave the sizes and prices. Maybe the sign was scarring away walk-ins. I have to say this is probably the third time that I've eaten this pizza from this place and sauce is amazing the crust is fantastic the only problem would possibly be the price but honestly with this pizza you get what you pay for just delicious I haven't had any bad service everybody super polite the owners are amazing the staff is also amazing really quick on the service time real polite treat you like you need to like you want to be there so I couldn't recommend it anymore than I already do read more

I absolutely love Romeo's Pizza but the last couple times we've had it delivered, the amount of time we've waited is bad. Just today, we placed an order online at 12:15pm. It was projected to be here in 60 minutes. After 75+ minutes, I called the store and asked where my order was and how much longer it was going to take. The girl on the phone then handed me off to what seems to have been a manager who stated that it would be another 15-20 minutes before I would get my order. At this point, we are out of time because we have to leave to be somewhere in 45 minutes at the time I called. They never relayed that they were running behind (yet, I was order # 11 on the day). I absolutely love this pizza but I'm not going to risk the amount of time it takes to actually get a delivery from them. I'll stick to the other places we've had much better experiences with when it comes to delivery. The last two months of Romeo's has been just poor. I hate to quit ordering from them but we're done with them at this point. read more

This is the worst pizza I ever put in my mouth. I would rather have a hot pocket. The crust tasted like a sponge. The flavor was like someone dumped a can of that food pantry pizza gunk on a sponge and put in a toaster oven. The hot wings were even less appetizing. read more

Some people think of pizza as just a food but i think of it as a experience and Romeo's Pizza is as good as it gets. I couldn't ask for a better staff, such happy people work there. One young man made a big impression on me his name was Ryan. Ryan was such a polite handsome young man who makes one hell of a pizza. we've ordered romeo's from the elyria store many times. the pizza is always very good. its my wife's favorite. they have a sauce that probably has way tooo much sugar in it b/c it is definitely a sweet sauce that may be too sweet for some. def. sweeter than any other pizza place i know of. we like it though and get it on occasion. honestly i've never had bad service here. i order online all the time though and just go into the store to pick it up. i saw the majority of negative reviews on here and i do not feel that is an accurate representation of the quality of this pizza and location. we've eaten here about 20x over the years. when there was a mistake a while back, they took care of it in an appropriate manner. no hesitation about ordering from them. read more

It was a cool night, after dealing with what I can only dead urge as the definition of people that don't deserve welfare (essentially 85% of Lorain county) I thought my only haven would be my church equivalent, a pizza shop. I was "greeted" with a nod from a blank stare, cold eyed girl. The kind of girl that thinks she's a 10 but honestly is only 7 because she uses one third of all of her make up every morning. "What can I get you?..." I try to be chirpy, hoping that this blonde silhouette of a human being had a any sort of empathy or ability to emulate positive emotion. Alas I was mistaken and was given a sullen response to my simple white pizza with yellow peppers. I may as well have been in Azkaband as the other employees sucked the energy from my corpse like a de mentor. I was told to come back in 15 minutes so naturally and in order to preserved punctuality, I set a timer. I returned in 16 minutes hoping the extra minute would give them time to find personality, I was mistaken again. I was handed my pizza swiftly, as if I was about to get a fatal drug. The pizza felt lukewarm at best,just like the girls personality on the happiest day of her life. If you're looking to feel like you're part of the Anime club at high school while trying to talk to a cheerleader, this could be a fun experience. read more
