Ordered 2 large pizzas yesterday. Only 1 was ready as the other was given away when I arrived (early) 20 minutes after my phone order to pick up within 25 minutes. We have always been long time, loyal customers & the product. However, something has definitely changed....new owners???? Service was terrible, waited 20 more mins for another pizza to be made to replace the pizza they gave away. No options, offers, nothing! The old pizza that was sitting there for a while along with the replacement of a fresh hot pizza was my only option. Needless to say when we got home the old cold pizza was terrible and not edible. The replacement pizza was clearly not the quality we had come accustomed too. Skimpy ingredients, toppings. Very disappointing & frustrated as I tried talking with them. No offer to Comp., refund my money. Totally lacking customer service & quality product! Lesson learned! I should have just walked away as I had hungry kids waiting in the car for dinner. Should have demanded a refund & gone to Surve for quality, fresh dinner & fabulous customer service! Customer service was non existent & quality of product certainly has gone downhill. Nine people were standing around with nothing to do & were confused, running into each other. Total disorganization as something has definitely changed. We will not be back & I cannot recommend!! If you're looking for local pizza places around or in Sunbury, this is the place to choose. I've tried just about every local place and this is by far my favorite. They only offer carry out with some patio tables outside but I don't mind taking it home. I usually get the same thing every time and it never misses. Which is a pizza with light sauce and pepperoni with half added banana peppers and pineapple. So good!! I recently tried their garlic bread with cheese and the Stromboli and both were very good! Anytime someone brings up pizza for dinner I always have to mention Good Fella'z. read more

I think we just had a bad pizza. It was extremely burnt. I don't mind a crunchy pizza but the cheese was burnt all over the pizza and the crust was rock hard. The sauce was delicious and the amount of cheese was very good. We also ordered Bosco sticks and sauce, that was very good. We will try again, in hopes the next one isn't burnt. read more

I really want a solid pizza place so writing the review hoping the owners will see it and make some changes. We used to order from here on a regular basis and stopped 6 months ago. We decided to give it another try and ordered 2 small pizza's on 4/18. Whoever made the dough that day, great job! The pizzas were amazing! They were so good that we ordered 3 pizzas on 4/22 and they were inedible. We ate half of one and are throwing away the rest. Well - thank GOODNESS we found you as soon as we did. We had lost all faith in good pizza so we decided that dieting was better and we would never eat pizza again. Until we found Good Fella'z Pizzeria. With a few good reviews, we needed to try it! The pizza is amazing! We can't get enough of the Hot and Spicy pizza. It's probably the best pizza we have EVER had. Hot is usually reserved for wings in this town. Spicy is not a concept embraced in this sleepy Midwestern part of the country. So "spicy" is usually greeted by our rolling eyes and loud sighs of disgust. But this one is HOT - and SPICY - and just pure love on the most amazing crust. We also sampled the Italian Sub (get a double) and the Sicilian pizza which is similar to JETs 8 corner pizza, but JETs is not even the same league. We can say it was all good. The pizza crust is crispy and your cardboard is DRY instead of soaked with gobs of grease. The sauce just has a slight twinge of sweet. I am not a sweet sauce fan, so if I like this you don't have to worry about a thing! We've had it so many times now, I think the owners are starting to know us! They even brought us a pizza during an ice storm (we didn't realize it until after the fact) and we drove there during a bad snow just to get the pizza ourselves. There is no place to eat at the establishment, so carry out or delivery is your only option. No matter when you deal with the employees, they are always happy to take your order or deliver or take your payment. It's just a fantastic establishment all around. I will say this is the best pizza shop in the area...and I drove over to 23 to try everything between here and there. I think the big winner for me is the pepperoni. I detest sandwich pepperoni on pizza- that belongs on a sandwich, hence the name. This has the nice smaller peps that curl up a bit and crisp in the oven (yes, they do collect some grease, but it's a fatty meat, what do you expect???). Do I crave this pizza, no...does it handle my pizza craving I have for traditional Ohio type pizza- yes. I came from an area where I had some really great shops in short distant walks/drives from my house- Ange's (my #1), Grandad's, Terita's, Pizza House, etc.... so I personally find it hard to live up to these shops that have been around for decades, but this is my go to when I'm at home and want to eat a nice pizza shop pizza.
