At one point, I thought one didn't exist until I found Cielo Spa in Santa Barbara. I searched on yelp and of course, I was hesitant. I found Carabella on yelp and its the only place that doesn't have a rating less than 3 stars. Impressive. I booked my appointment online which was such a huge plus because I can't book my appointment on the phone for a brazilian, lip and brow, and underarms without people looking at me as if I have some sort of disorder. Jeez, I have a lot of hair, OK? Leave me alone. It was easy to find because her home has a sign out in front which signified to me that I had arrived to the correct location. I followed the path directing me to the spa and entered to find the most charming spa. It was a soft pink color and it had all their amazing products on display for you to see. I was greeted by Jennifer (the owner) and she made me feel so at home. She was completely professional, as well and it was actually an enjoyable waxing visit. She also offers other services besides waxing that i will MOST DEFINITELY be trying out. She has lash perming, Revitalight, and teeth whitening and if you think it sounds shady, its not. She has her certificates and licenses framed on the wall so everything it legit. You should definitely try her out if you want good service, a THOROUGH wax (not the ones that have hair break off and grow back in 1 day), and a friendly atmosphere where you can feel comfortable. If you don't want these things, you can go somewhere else for cheaper... but in my experience.. cheaper isn't always better and you get what you pay for.
