I ordered a mini pizza with soda and a five piece chicken wing off of the lunch special menu. It was nice that she asked if I wanted the wings out first. I really liked the crunchy breading and mild heat of the chicken wings. I was disappointed to find very little meat on the bones and the wings/little legs were all very small. The pizza was really good. The crust was my favorite part of it. The lunch special #MIN pizza comes with two toppings and I had double Canadian bacon. The crust under the toppings was thin and soggy so everything slid off, unfortunately. I'm not sure how to rectify that because the crust was done perfectly and I like the amount of sauce and cheese and toppings on the pizza so I really don't know how they could avoid the soggy underneath part. Maybe they can figure that out. All in all, I thought that it was a fair price and I love their inside seating area and service. You order at the counter and for the buffet, they hand you a salad bowl and a plate for the pizza and a cup if you ordered a drink and you serve yourself from there. There's a large TV in the corner. Sometimes the volume is up sometimes it's down. You could probably ask for the remote, but I usually don't bother. There are small and larger tables so if you have a larger party, you can easily be accommodated. They don't usually have very many on staff though so you may need to wait if you have a large order. As for the vibe, it was pretty quiet with only a couple other customers eating their pizzas. The dining area was clean. The lightning was weird because some of the areas were really dark due to a large pillar blocking the ceiling lights directly in front of some of the tables. Other customers noted how dark their table area was. I sat at a well lit long table that can seat 10 people that had plenty of light. The wood table itself was actually pretty nice. Service could be better. They had a relay going on where one staff member would deal with the cheese and took down your name and passed it on to the next staff member for the sauce, then the toppings, then the oven person, then the cashier. The first staff member must have had a bad day, and rushed me when i was thinking, hmming, and huhhing about what to order. She didn't smile or greet me either. The cashier at the end of the relay was kind of slow and made a couple mistakes with the transaction but he figured it out at the end. And they offered a plant based cheese for those of us who can't have dairy. I expected it to be barely edible as most non dairy cheeses have been but theirs was actually delicious! I called the next day to find out what brand they used and am very happy to be able to have " cheese" again. We will enjoy many good times here in the future!
